I must be strict with stars here since everyone else is already delighted enough.. And i do have to address a point which was a huge disappointment, and which is lying on my desk in a paper cup right now, waiting to be thrown away while i'm drinking a coffee made by "Vollautomat" from the office (well if that doesn't sum it up.....). It is a really cute coffeeshop, no doubt.... I am sure that the coffee as such tastes great as well, as you all claim, really. But i wonder if they had ever tasted their creation of choco-coffee at all, before they put it on the menu. If they believe that particular item is meant just for people whose taste buds can react to nothing but incredible amounts of sugar, they are very, very wrong. Those people would have gone to some of the coffee chains anyhow. First i was happy to discover one of the very rare local coffee shops to offer it at all. One of the things i truly miss in Vienna is a tasty version of choco-coffee, mocca, mocha, chococino, or however you want to name it - a drink featuring dark chocolate and coffee in one cup. Must say this is one of the worst i've ever had. It is a sugary mixture of whatever coffee and some caramelized cocoa milk. Might be good against cough. But no other taste there. So it makes me wonder - can anyone around here realize the point of mixing the cocoa and coffee in order to bring up the incredible taste of both, instead of preparing the children-friendly sugary caramel-milk drink with a touch of cocoa and coffee... So as you can tell, Kaffeeküche added on to my general disappointment with this particular product. But as much as i do not want to take it all out on them, i must notice that if anyone wants to stand out by offering some high quality products, they should apply the logic to all or none of them. read more
