She gave us samples of pretty much everything she had to offer. I'll try to add some photos on this review, because I'm also adding this as a business to Yelp along with posting the review. You really can't get much fresher Salmon than this. Seafoam is the First Nation's community's fishing enterprise, Pacheedaht Fishing Corporation Inc. We picked one of the whole Smoked Pink Filet and a package of the Chinook Candy. The "candy" is big fresh chunks of Chinook Salmon that has been smoked and sweetened just a tad with brown sugar. It isn't too sweet, either... just the right amount. We drove from Port Renfrew two hours over to Nanaimo for the ferry, and literally opened up the Chinook Candy and ate it right out of the bag as we drove to the ferry terminal. It was one of the best things we had on our entire BC trip, too. We knocked out the Smoked Pink Filet later, and it was equally amazing. I believe the truck stops coming at the end of summer for several months in Port Renfrew, so you can look up Seafoam Seafoods online to locate other retail outlets during off-season. If you are in "Renny" during the summer season, be sure to drop in on this spot to buy fresh seafood right from the First Nations people. Get there early, because they do sell out of the most popular items first.

The shell is made of melted cheese, the vegetables are fresh and crisp. So often keto options feel like a lesser choice, but not here. I had two pulled pork tacos and while I got a slice of the keto chocolate Cale for dessert, I didn't have space for it. This was fine, as it made for a lovely bit of sweet this evening. I hope that they expand their hours (M-F 10-2 & SS 10-4), and I would love to have this for an option during the week. That said I am thrilled to have a restaurant in Victoria making specific keto dishes, rather than my having to ask for a bunch of things to be left off. The atmosphere here is that of being welcome- regardless of anything. I experience real, authentic human connection here every time. The staff is of the nicest I've experienced, and every coffee I've had has been carefully made and of utmost quality. My kids absolutely love the trail cookies (which are made from scratch!) and I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to be able to have an array of treat choices made with clean ingredients and minimal processing. I have frequented many a coffee shop all over North America and none hold a "stick" to The Stick!

This company it's tucked away in a strip mall connected to several small art galleries and curio shops. Staff were very friendly menu was fairly simple but worth visiting. They offer a breakfast sandwich called an egg a majig that was delicious and hit the spot we also had one of their coconut chocolate cookies equally good. My wife had the Lotte she was happy with it I had a drip coffee called the swallow blend. I assume it is named after the ubiquitous swallows all along the coastline. This coffee was Unreal it is honestly the best cup of coffee I've had in Canada. I drink my coffee black with no sugar so I could taste it unadulterated. You're on vacation in Sooke for 2 weeks I will be going back to this coffee shop frequently and I will be taking some of the swallow blend home with me to Edmonton. The decor what is eclectic Surf Shop and there were plenty of locals having chinwag. Listening to them was highly entertaining there are some characters here. I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone in fact if I lived in Victoria on the weekend I might drive out to Sooke just to have a coffee and enjoy the fresh air.
