This is one of my local hangiuts on Greenwich St in Tribeca. It's part of my morning power walk. Love this unique, Sweedish-Inspired caffe. Most prescious bakery on site with pure ingredients, light pastries! I usually have a capp, & a pastry. They use locally sourced clean milk- which is rare even in the best of places. Large, spaceous, cool on a warm day. Great space. Service ok but on the "cold" side. Sandwiches a good size: my chicken, kale pesto was a burst Of flavor & super fresh. read more

With at least two spots on Greenwich, this part of TriBeCa is becoming Swedish Coffee Row! The other one is nice, but this is about Kaffe Landskap. Whether it's morning and you're rushing in, or afternoon parked with a book, you're in for a zen treat here. The baristas are chill and friendly, and the ambiance is cool, not over-lit and clad in sound-muffling hardwood. On a hot early summer day, it was the perfect place to duck out of the sun and slow down to sip. A warm (not cool, not hot) oat milk latte is my pour, and this one will bring a smile with its silky smoothness. Pair it with a savory, like one of their egg wraps, and your whole day is made! My late-morning sortie came to an end when the finance bros and summer associates started lining up for early lunch, taking up too much space. But hit Kaffe Landskap at one of those mid moments, and you'll walk out feeling like you spent quality time with a good friend. read more

VISITOR BEWARE! There's actually two locations ten minutes from one another. The location that shows up in google maps is the 275 Greenwich location, but there's another one across from the Citibank HQ at 401 Greenwich. It was very crowded on a Saturday morning, but the service was super friendly. The ambience is cozy and upbeat--this is the perfect place to read a good book or do some creative writing. The tables were very close together, so it does get pretty loud from conversation sometimes, but not unbearably so. I got the swedish cardamom bun ($5) and the Chely coffee ($5ish). The Chely was supposed to have notes of pear, lemon zest, and milk chocolate. I wasn't sure I tasted any of those notes, but it was good coffee. The cardamom bun was heavenly: crispy sugar on the outside, a strong cardamom flavor, and a dense (maybe too dense) buttery bread. Honestly, not sure if the coffee and bun was worth the $12ish I paid for it, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt on account of those scrumptious cardamom buns. read more

I had wanted to try out this coffee shop because I had heard good things about the roastery and bean sourcing. Sadly, I was quite disappointed and do not think that I will be returning. I was there very late in the afternoon and ordered on one of their online kiosks in the very front of the shop. I got an oat milk cortado as an afternoon pick-me-up, and it was called out pretty quickly. The inside is very interesting - pretty dark and moody with bench seating. I could definitely tell that it could be pretty hard to find seating if the cafe was super busy, but I was able to find a place to seat given that it was pretty late in the day. My first observation about the drink that I was served is that the drink tasted kind of overextracted. Usually, the oat milk is pretty forgiving in masking any extraction imperfections, and so I was quite let down by the drink. I am not sure why this place is so popular, but I think I would rather hit up a smaller shop in the future that does coffee well, instead of a chain like this that seems to have variable quality. read more

Well, the pros. The food is pretty good and is made quickly, usually 10 minutes or less. Portions leave you full. Modification can get expensive but that's what I get for wanting extra avocado lol. Coffee is good if you're not a connoisseur, my girlfriend is more picky than me and it's not her favorite spot but I think it's just fine. Usually they do a design on top. I've never been to the other location so I don't know anything about how it compares. The service is occasionally unreliable in the mornings. Multiple times there has been only one person taking orders and making coffees. I've seen it happen with a couple different people, I'm not sure if it's on purpose but they could definitely use more staff. I've also come here to do work on my laptop. Great space for that. Make sure to bring headphones because Starbucks ads play between the cafe music. Lol. No time limit on tables, and they have wifi and allow laptops. Last month I witnessed an altercation between two employees. A man employee seemed to be undermining a woman employee, loudly swearing and insulting her during a busy time of day. I debated including this in the review, I haven't seen either of the employees since but I questioned the hiring decision of a man who would yell so profanely in front of customers, I hope the other employee got the support she needed. read more

This review is for the outlet at 401 Greenwich Street (North TriBeCa). They used to makenreally good coffee witb phenomenal service, all the way till the beginning of 2024 when the owners parted ways and the OG staff left with one of the owners to set up a new cafe. They hired a whole bunch of new staff who are highly incompetent. (1) They are ultra slow when it comes to making coffee leading to a buildup of people waiting for their order (2) there is just 1 person on duty sometimes - and they have to juggle between making the drinks and tending to the queue to take order, with the queue often being neglected (and growing by the minute) (3) They make online orders, do not label them, and quietly place them on the shelf for collection. How are people going to know which orders are theirs?? It happened to me once - one of the newer female staff. (4) Overheard a colleague this morning: they gave her decaf - it was written on her cup and when she went back to clarify, the barista said he mistakenly wrote decaf on the lid despite using regular coffee. When she got back to her desk and sipped it - she said it tasted like decaf. Also, she ordered a blackberry muffin only to get something else. 2 fck-ups in one day. She thinks the decaf was in relatiation to her shaking her head in disapproval on a previous occasion (same barista on duty then) on her order on that day. (5) they don't seem to steam their milk properly. Most of the time, their coffee is barely lukewarm. What's up with that? read more

I've been coming here for a while pre-Covid, they have the best ambiance and pitaya bowls. Today was my first time visiting since COVID-19 and I was impressed with the cute sheep decor used as place holders on the indoor sitting area. It was so cute! They have tape on the group to mark how far people should stand apart and shields to separate the guests and the employees at the ordering counter and pick up area. Unfortunately they aren't serving pitaya bowls during Covid :( also why no pitaya bowls but yes to having açaí bowls? I visited in on a Saturday around 9:30am and even though there were only 3 guests ahead of me, it took them FOREVER. Even the girls behind me were talking about the unexpected wait time. They seemed to only have two people on staff at the time. Other than that, they have adorable tables outside where you can enjoy the weather and your coffee. Still worth a visit! read more

Very cozy cafe with surprisingly a good amount of tables/seatings. I ordered a macchiato and was surprised when a tiny cup of coffee came out even though it was very cute. I didn't expect a $4 drink to come out in an espresso size cup but maybe that's how all macchiatos are? I didn't realize this location didn't have wifi available since I was hoping to work a little but it's ok, the other TriBeCa location has it so I will definitely want to check out that one. They have since seem to have moved to other pastures yet by then I've discovered that they sell the swedish chocolate balls - a Scandinavian coffee house staple. The sheep piqued my interest, but the espresso at Kaffe 1668 was legit. This hip and modern gourmet coffee shop in Tribeca is on Greenwich serving coffee and espresso drinks for the nearby Citibank and college crowds. This place reminds me of the upscale coffee places in San Francisco and Sacramento with a full espresso, pourover, and drip bar setup. You can get basic drinks served very well in a dim and intimate setting surrounded by hundreds of sheep dolls. It is both comforting and surreal at the same time. My drink was pulled about average time wise and was a decent value given the quality. The interior had a lot of seating in such a narrow, but long environment. Kaffee 1668 is a nice stop for a caffeine break or small meal in the area. read more

Its decor is really unique and cute, but the place can be quite dim so not the best place for studying. I got their latte and the coffee had a really good nutty flavor. I definitely love the Kaffe brand, and even though there's another Kaffe 1668 right down the block on Greenwich, I ain't mad at this one. All their drinks are really good and kinda fun. I like the seating and atmosphere at this location. It's dark, but that's OK. They have all the usual coffee drinks, milks and non-milks. They also have light lunch things and snacks. Prices are definitely commensurate with the area so know before you go. It's not really a great place to do work at but go to a library to work or study. Get coffee here. read more

Stumbled upon this shop on a Thursday afternoon at around 2. Surprised by the amazing cold brew. The store quickly became busy by around 3, but still plenty of seats since people just talked and walked. vibe was fantastic also loved the structure- long walk to the very end. read more

I was in the area for NY fashion week so I decided to dip in and get a macchiato for the evening. I could appreciate the aesthetic they have cultivated here. It was a nice calm space to be able to sit at and get away from the cold. No one was in line so the Barista took my order right away. She was already sitting at the counter. Ordered my macchiato and paid. And then, for whatever reason, she didn't start making the coffee right away. She started talking to an employee (or so I thought he was employee, he was wheeling his bike from outside to behind the counter). Then I saw another woman come from the back and I thought, oh maybe she is the barista. Nope. The woman who took my order eventually made my coffee with the urgency of a 13 year old doing their chores. Coffee was just ok. Maybe crappy service is also a part of their aesthetic. THE VIBE: Cute space, great matcha latte, adequate number of power outlets, and good snack options. Oh TriBeCa, you are so different from your more humble beginnings now. I heard some woman interviewing nannies declaring that junk food for her kids is "like, RICE CRACKERS" and how many detoxes she has proudly pushed her body through. This place is decorated like a beautiful co-working space with its long wooden tables, exposed lofted ceilings, industrial chic decor... THE MATCHA LATTE: I loved it here. I wish the iced version had a bit more tea and less ice since the ice cubes filled 1/2-2/3 of the cup, but the taste was superb. I enjoyed the slight sweetness with the tea as the focus as compared to the overpowering sugary taste at some other places. They also seemed to have simple syrup, soy milk, etc. I can't wait to try the other drinks here! THE FOOD: I did not purchase anything, but they have an extensive menu at this location unlike the other one down the street. Tons of vegetarian/vegan/raw/paleo/unicorn-friendly food options. This place is honestly great in some aspects, but just extremely overpriced. But I guess that's what you get with a chic NYC coffee shop. It's super hard for me to resist being that my office is two steps away around the corner. I will say there are some upsides + downsides: Upsides- coffee is actually amazing. I usually get the iced cold brew or iced latte. Usually super quick to come out. They also provide you punch cards (have to go 10 times though before you get something free, lol). The interior decor is well-thought out and beautiful. Stop in to do some work or go on a cute coffee date. Downsides- as mentioned, super pricey. I have been in here a handful of times and what baffles me is that a breakfast burrito (with eggs, beans, and guacamole) costs $15. Whaaaaaat?! That's insane. Also always super slow to be made. I waited yesterday for about 15 minutes for it to come out and it wasn't even packed. My point here is... if I am coming to Kaffe in the future, it's for a quick iced coffee and that's all. I can't be spending $20 every morning for a breakfast and coffee when I can get it for half the price somewhere else. Too dark, too hip for comfort inside. We waltzed in after a run in need of coffee and light sustenance. The kids at the counter were fine in terms of service, though several looked dour and unhappy to be there. There was just something really uninviting about the place. Coffee was OK, nothing to write home about. I ordered an overpriced breakfast sandwich that was basically a tiny baguette with ham. I've made better sandwiches at home with packaged meats. Kaffe 1668 is a very cool spot where you can get delicious brewed-to-order coffee. They also have various cookies, biscotti, even oatmeal--which I may try some time soon--but very little that's vegan. One thing I appreciate--since I always carry my own cup--is that they give a small discount for bringing your own cup. I also decided to get a regular rather than a decaf because I was told there would be a slight wait for decaf. I'm going to come here to hang out and sip my coffee sometime soon, just because this is such an excellent place with excellent decor--and sheep! I need to count sheep now; the coffee I had this afternoon still has me wired. But it was worth it. read more
