I stopped by on a Saturday late afternoon expecting it to be very busy which it was not. That's great for me because I had free reign to use any machine of my choosing. This scenario is the complete opposite to the Sanford location I've been visiting recently. It's always tough getting used to a different equipment layout between stores; however, this one has almost the same setup as the Sanford store, just slightly different, and a little bit smaller overall. They have at least two of almost every machine except for a few unique ones for obliques, lower back, and legs. This gym also has a monkey bar rack which is cool. Pretty much all the machines are an excellent condition except for the pads on the sliding crunch machines and oblique machine, other than that, everything look like it was well kept. The bathrooms and locker room were very clean and the lockers look high-end. This gym also has the modernized all-in-one sanitation stations throughout, which I prefer over the spray bottle over the edge of the trash can like it has been at Lake Mary for years (hope that comes with the remodel). Staff were very friendly and were noticeably active in maintaining the cleanliness of the gym and restrooms, Good job! All-in-all, if you're just looking for a place to get your workout in, in a nice environment, without any hassle, I recommend checking them out.

It kills the energy and makes it hard to stay focused or motivated. A gym should feel alive and push you through your workout, not feel like you're in a library. Definitely not a great experience.

The equipment is standard CrossFit stuff, made by Valor. They also have rowers and echo bikes. There is a long row on the back wall of bars for pull-ups, muscle ups etc. I've done a couple unofficial workouts here with local community members and friends and family of the owner. I've invited a couple friends as well. Everyone has felt welcome and they go over everything for the newbies. They're keen on letting people know how to modify or scale the workout according to your fitness level, age, injuries etc. I have never had any issue finding equipment for the workout. There is enough to go around. The warmup sometimes is a little jog around the parking lot and they have it all measured. I can't wait for this place to be up and running fully. I hear they may have a cool hangout area, lockers, showers, even a tanning bed. We shall see! In the meantime- they are on instagram so check them out there for more info.

Lots of equipment if you choose to work out on your own, very clean and has showers and a sauna. They open at 5:45am so if you' like to work out early it's perfect! There are different membership levels, you can go to any YMCA in Central Florida and also have a few visits available to use in other cities. Great valide, great staff, check them out!

They have so many different ones to choose from such as strength training, pilates, yoga, to even barre which Im very excited to try next, amongst many more. I recently did the bike cycling class and my immediate expectations weren't high since I just assumed their couldn't be much to it. However, the instructor Sharon was so motivating and incorporated the resistance bar which was a game changer and really helped get a real work out in. I can't say enough about the Yoga and Pilates instructors too - always a beautiful zen like feeling you get here on top of your workout. The classes are at different times of the day too so there's a lot of flexibility and extremely accommodating if you might get there a few minutes late. It's easy to reserve your class on the app and you can easily delete your booking beforehand if something comes up. All the instructors bring their own unique style and you can see which ones are going to teach what in case you may have a preference. Very importantly, the bathrooms, showers, and steam room are always in tip top shape. The Y here makes me look forward to my wellness routine and truly gives me the best bang for my buck, that's sincerely priceless.

I love working in the studio on the reformer with her but I am also loving the ability to work 1:1 virtually from home during these crazy COVID times! She has helped me with stress reduction and strengthening, lengthening and toning my body. Bibi is the trainer that everyone needs - she is warm and caring and pushes you to keep going but always ensuring your safety!
