I booked Andy to clean carpets in 3 rooms in my house and confirmed with him that he will be wearing a mask during the job. We agreed he will use outdoor hose for water access to fill buckets. He arrived 45 minutes late, did not put on a mask until asked to do so by my housemate (and was clearly unhappy about being asked to wear the mask). When reminded to use outside hose said "okay, I'm done here," picked up his supplies, stormed out of the house, and refused to do the job. He then texted me to complain about my room-mate, who asked him to follow agreements/mandate, saying "I can't work with that person." For comparison, other carpet cleaning companies I called unequivocally stated that "wearing a mask is protocol" when asked about their COVID policies.
