Warning - they are ripping off customers with "made up" items, overcharging and making up the prices! I had a terrible experience here. I was in a hurry, and just run inside to buy two packages of cheese (it supposed to be a present). I pointed out two types of cheese and the young guy cut it and packed it. Then he typed something on the register and told me the price. It seemed very expensive, but I was in hurry so I took the receipt and run out. Just outside the shop I checked the receipt and there was an "item" called "a nice price" (in Dutch) and it "cost" 5 euro. I checked it several times, and yes, they actually charged me for this made-up non-existing BS item 5 euro. So I went back inside and complained. The young guy was making faces like "oh what is that I never saw anything like it before", and the older guy took the receipt from me and immediately gave me 5 euro. I went out (in a hurry) and while leaving I realised several things:
1. They actually have an "item" registered in their cash register called "the nice price - 5 euro", ready to be used to steal from customers (I would guess they use it if customers appear like tourists = non-Dutch);
2. They knew immediately and exactly what I was complaining about - that is why the older guy took the receipt from me and immediately pay me back 5 euro;
3. They actually ripped me off for the price of the cheese too (!!!) - the guy overcharged me almost double the price, but I realised it first later. I was stupid enough to let them take the receipt from me when they were paying me back 5 euro. Otherwise I could have proove that they overcharged the cheese too;
This is all totally true story and I can confirm this anytime if you contact me!
Conclusion: NEVER again would I buy anything there. (And I live just around the corner) read more
