We just completed the training for our pit bull and it exceeded our expectations. Now we can include her in family outings at the beach and outdoor dining facilities. Charles understood what we needed and tailored the program to achieve our goals.

Charles was great with not only working with my dogs but also working with me on how to be patient when training them. He showed me why it was important pay attention to my mannerisms around them and how to effectively communicate with them. He taught me several different training techniques and the why behind what he was having me do. I highly recommend K9 Vision to anyone looking to train a new pet or just teach an old dog a new trick.

While shopping at Home Depot, my daughter and I noticed a dog training session in progress. We were curious and decided to watch. I was impressed by all 4 dogs however there sat a large black beautiful Rottweiler that stood out to me. She was focused on her master, waiting for his specific commands for her. Instantly I knew she was well trained and didn't feel I was in harms way! This was the answer to my prayers. I'm currently "raising" my son's 7 month pit bull Apollo while he's away from home. I know he'll continue to grow, get much stronger and it's imperative that Apollo is well behaved and disciplined. As a family we decided to use K9 Vision services. Charles listened to my concerns and adapted our training specifically to Apollo's needs, while continuing to be professional. Apollo is learning all the basic commands with tough love and tons of praise. He's improving by leaps and bounds with each lesson. Most importantly, Charles and the K9 Vision Ohana has built trust not only with myself and my daughter but with Apollo and that makes all the difference in the world. This tells me that they are passionate about helping dogs live their best lives. I have recommended K9 Vision training services to friends and family and I will continue to support by sharing my experience and joining the Saturday morning group sessions. BEST decision I've made for our entire family! With Aloha, The Vegas Familia

Everyone warned us how tough it is to raise sibling puppies and they were all right, which is why Charles THE Dog Trainer was a blessing! He trained our two dogs disciplines we did not think they were capable of. Thanks to him we can enjoy them in a controlled and safe environment. Charles is a game changer in training dogs and overall quality of dog life!

Having adopted a Pittie that was dog aggressive was very stressful, so we knew we would need to find the right person to walk us through this journey. Charles was that person; he taught our dog and us so much. We leash trained, learned how to walk with him, how to react when we saw another dog, and more than anything that our dog could trust us. In a matter of 6 weeks he was a completely different dog. We can now enjoy long walks and not have to worry about him going crazy. Our dog loved the training and knows all the commands and we thank Charles from the bottom of our hearts. You won't regret it!

I'd highly recommend K9 Vision for their mobile dog training services. Charles Goodman, owner and his new trainer, Koa, were instrumental in our adventure of becoming first time dog parents and setting a good foundation for our new member of the family, La'i girl. Charles has a natural way with dogs and his passion for dogs makes his training engaging and enjoyable. His has a tremendous depth of knowledge with extensive experience from law enforcement, military and in a wide range of dog behavioral training. What I noticed about his training, he teaches and models the training and let myself or my family members execute the training. He is caring, very professional, and skilled at educating dog owners in developing a positive relationship with their dog pet. I was so impressed with Charles and his training was comfortable, not rushed, and always took the time to answer any questions I asked. I highly recommend K9 Vision and I cannot thank enough for what they have done for my family and what La'i girl has been since her day 1 training. Mahalo for everything Charles and Koa!

Ace near the end of his training working off leash in public

Let me start off by saying if I could give more than 5 stars I would! My dog Ace is so loving but also had problems with listening when spoken to, didn't ever stop playing with another dog unless brought home/put inside, and jumping on kids. I met Charles through a neighbor that would come by with his bully and play with Ace they were best friends! I just so happened to walk by his house when he had his consolation and I set up one with Charles that day. The best decision of my life!! After back and forth with Charles for probably a month or more haha I finally was able to let Ace go for his 30 day board and train. I was hesitant at first because when I saw him for the first time in a few days he's seemed scared but it's just them getting adjusted to the new environment and being away from their family for the first time ever. He assured that he wasn't and just being on his toes to make sure he followed direction when given. Seeing the change in Ace was crazy to me seeing him around other dogs and not lunging towards them to play and just chilling and not worrying about them, I was so proud!! I will say this though you have to put in the work too! You can't except them to be gone for the 30days and think they'll automatically listen and trust you. If I could re do anything it would be to start training with Ace asap because you have to build the bond that Charles is building everyday while working with them. I started at the 2 week mark and I would say by the last 3 days of the 2 weeks is when I started to get comfortable and he trusted me more (Ace). It's not easy by any means but it's so worth putting the work in and getting the end result. Charles is amazing! He would still work with my husband and I after a long day of work to teach us what to do when it came to Ace's training. He's very prompt when trying to get in contact also literally within minutes I would get a reply if I was wanting to know how Ace is and pictures of him. We were in the process of moving to the mainland and Charles even helped us with making sure he was picked up and sent off the airport. After this experience we definitely feel like Charles is family and he's still here to help with making sure we're doing everything right when it comes to Ace. So what are you waiting for? It's literally worth every penny!!!

    Frank

I hired Charles (K9Vision) in December of 2021 for my American Bully Frank. Frank is quite the character and the most loving boy.. but did not listen to any commands and was just out right out of control. From our first meeting with Charles to our last, Charles was extremely professional and knowledgeable. By the end of the first lesson we could already see a difference with Frank. Charles gave us homework in between each lesson to continue to work Frank and we were blown away with how fast he learned and how his behavior changed. We were so impressed with how the Basic Obedience went that we hired him again for Advanced Off Leash training. By the time we finished our training I had the utmost confidence I could take my dog anywhere without a leash and know I could have complete control and responsiveness from Frank. Frank is still quite the character and the most loving boy.. but now he listens to every command without hesitation. I would recommend K9Vision to anyone that is looking to further their obedience and connection with their dog.

With Charles and Noahs help, walking and running is so much fun!

Carles and Noah basically saved my dog. He was in a terrible place and we were misguided by others from the very beginning. I have had dogs all my life (big and small), but our pit/mix (something Charles identified) had behavioral issues since a small puppy, which progressively worsened to the point he was aggressive with almost everyone and uncontrollable. We were on the path to euthanasia since his options were limited and no one wanted an adult pit with behavior problems. No trainer I spoke to were willing to meet us in person out of concerns for safety, putting us in a hopeless position. Charles and Noah showed up to our home, no questions asked and told us it would be a lot of work, but do able. He reassured us he would be there for us all along the way and he was, both of them! Charles never once gave us false hope and never once made us feel like we were failing our pup, he only gave us hope and the encouragement to keep working! Azu was able to find a better balance in life and purpose. He may still have his ups and downs, but we now have the tools to help him keep moving forward and remain a part of our family. He is really in a much happier place and so are we! I don't know what we would have done without the two of them and I can honestly say Azu owes his life to both of them for everything they have done for us! I would 100% recommend them.

We've been going to Sydney for over a year to keep up the obedience and our boy is doing things we never thought would be possible before, such as sitting quietly in a room full of other dogs, and walking past reactive dogs in the neighborhood without incident. He is a retired k9 police officer from Chicago and does REAL WORLD training. No tricks or treats. We first knew of Sidney when we saw him hold classes right outside of the dog park and we thought it would be the perfect training for Ellie. She would get easily distracted even by a leaf or a butterfly and take off. Also, she needed some obedience training. Fast forward, we have been training with Sidney for almost a year and we keep coming back. He knows how to read your dog to bring out the best in each of them. We went in wanting to learn obedience, and we keep wanting to learn more to see what else she is capable of doing. We truly enjoy the time we spend with Ellie in training classes each week and incorporating these skills in our routines at home. Ellie is a very well trained dog and we can actually walk her off leash with confidence that she will not wander off. We have also competed and placed in AKC rally competitions in her first weekend. If you're willing to put in the work with your dog and want to meet other hard working dog owners, come check out Total Control K9 College. We practice at Bill Archer Dog Park every Saturday morning around 9-11 AM and Wednesdays at Preppy Pet parking lot on Highway 6 and Rippling Waters at 7PM - rain or shine. Also, check out his Facebook live videos on the Total Control K9 College page to watch him work his magic on dogs who come in with behavioral issues or with high energy and within minutes he calms them down. I have witnessed this with my own eyes every week... I just can't make this stuff up!

Trigger (our australian shepard/blue heeler mix puppy ) came with no training, and a fear aggression to new people and other dogs. Per our request, not only did Bryce train our dog to full obedience, but he also brought in his dogs (super well trained, to an impressive competition level) to help Trigger learn how to greet new dogs. We spent six weeks learning sit, lay down, climb (an awesome, rare obedience technique of stay), loose-leash walking, heel, sit and lay down while in a heel command, leave it, down, and free (another awesome command). He taught Trigger these steps, but also worked with my husband and I to help us understand why trigger was acting out, or how he understands each command. We also spent a whole session in a public setting, getting iur ouppy used to greeting new people, and teaching us how to handle him in a doog park and in a new environment. We couldn't be happier with our transformed puppy! Bryce and Angie came to our place to work with Trigger in our own environment, and that in and of itself sold us! These two are the real deal, having trained for six months to a professional level, and they were worth every single penny! Our only regret? Not calling them sooner!
