From the first day of doggie day care, our dog was so happy and by the time he came he was exhausted. They show such love and care and we are quite happy. It is more affordable than most but you can buy coupons to save even more by prepaying. We had to board our dog last minute for a family emergency and they couldn't wave been nice r. I adopted Belle from the Sarasota Humane Society last December. She was listed as a dog who should not be with other dogs. That was OK with me at the time, but Belle turned out to be much more aggressive than I would have thought. I am absolutely appalled at the unprofessional behavior exhibited by this company. We are a local veterinary hospital that cares for a patient boarding at this facility. Today, this patient was brought to us by K9 Korral for treatment of mild vomiting that occurred this morning, however they were unable to provide documentation that gave us permission to treat the animal. We were unable to reach the owner to give permission for us to treat the patient and asked the boarding facility if they wished to wait while we tried to get in touch. Unfortunately, we are legally obligated to have some form of permission from an animal's owner before testing or treatment can be administered. They declined and took the dog back. To avoid the poor animal leaving without any help, I provided donated medication to the employee that brought her for temporary relief. The owner of the facility called us approximately 30 mins later and verbally assaulted my front office staff and used revolting profanity while she tried to explain that all we needed was a simple signed form giving us permission to treat the animal. I called back to discuss the matter (as the doctor) and was treated similarly. I will never recommend this company again and am disgusted by the entire encounter. read more

I would not recommend this place at all. I brought my deaf special needs 2 yr old puppy here for 5 days. On return from our vacation we were told he was the worst dog they had ever seen, screws loose in his head, needs to be heavily medicated and he could never return due to the damages he caused. Well as a business owner I do understand paying for damages , but we have yet to see any damage photos or bills. I believe that was to intimidate me as a single women. I do know my dog can be anxious and overwhelming but these people defiantly treated him badly and were not the place I believed them to be. I brought Wilbur there thinking the dogs were outdoors, playing, staying together etc.. He stated that our dog is not even living in the state that he is in and they felt sorry for him. The way they treated me I can not imagine the way they treat the animals behind closed doors. Finally, after a few days back home Wilbur is back to his happy, loving, playful self. Beware where you take your fur babies!!!! Lesson learned the hard way!! read more

I was looking for a place that had it all...training, day care, boarding, and you know...people that actually cared about my dog. I searched online, reading every review and website, YouTube videos, and was so impressed by what I saw for K9 Korral. I called to talk to someone about training and Carolla answered the phone. What a delight she was, and you could tell that she truly enjoys where and who she works for, and she's been there about 7 years. Happy employees! We scheduled Mark to come to my house for a private obedience training session. My dog isn't always fond of men, but Mark immediately knew how to calm her down and get her attention. We worked on her jumping and her manners for people knocking at the door. Our dog also gets nervous around some other dogs, so Mark had us come to the facility and he introduced our dog to his dog, and he instructed us on her triggers. Jeffrey came out and was talking to me about her behavior and what energy she's putting out...It was all fascinating and really helped us understand our dogs actions better. Since then, we've done a supervised day care, which went flawlessly and my dog was tired for 2 days afterwards! You will not be able to find more knowledgeable, caring and attentive staff...You all are wonderful and thank you for making this anxious parent more at ease!! read more

Wow, where do I start? The facility, the staff, and Rocko are all excellent. I loved the fact that everyone was so caring and loving to my sweet Charmer (my dog). They absolutely showed a great ordeal of compassion and consideration to Charmer and to all the dogs around. I've heard horror stories from friends where their dogs would get mistreated by the dog centers, but NOT here at K9KORRAL. They answered all my questions and they made Charmer and I feel comfortable at all times. I rescued Charmer from an abusive family, so Charmer really didn't know how to interact with other animals and even human beings. Sometimes he would be very aggressive and angry. He would stop barking uncontrollably. He would also jump on people in an aggressive way. I was scared to bring Charmer around my family, due to their safety. Coming from an abusive relationship, of course one might have trust issues and one also might be angry and start to be a little more on the violence side. But after training at K9KORRAL, Charmer is a lot more friendlier to my family members. He has not once acted in no aggressive or ills way to another individual. When we go out for walks, Charmer is also a lot more friendlier to the people and other dogs that we pass by. So I really do appreciate K9Korral for their help. Also, what had really helped a lot was the private classes that I took with the AMAZING Jeffery. He's a sweetheart and to me he might be the dog whisperer hahaha! Also, the Doggy Boarding is such a great flat fee price which is amazing. These people are very trustworthy, so it was easy for me to commit to leaving Charmer with them.
