She has never bled before from a nail trim. I know she is anxious with nail trims but has never required a muzzle and other places either let me know and ask me to hold her or have someone else hold her which she does fine with. I was told the price AFTER they had started cutting her nails and was not told of the charge prior. Gave her some antibiotics and Furosemide. Sent me off with 3 other medications to start the next day. Unfortunately, when I got home she got worse. I took her straight to an emergency pet hospital where she sadly passed away. I understand that something could have been missed and with her condition and age anything could have happen. I called them the next day and let them know what happened. I kindly asked if they could at least refund me for the 3 medications I was not able to use, since my new vet bill was going to extremely higher. They refused and said there is nothing they can do. I guess keeping the money is worth more than having a heart. Rest in Peace Pixie!
