We rescued an energetic husky with body boundaries and questionable social skills and the k9 keep fit staff have demonstrated deep understanding and respect for our boy. Since he isn't a good fit for the large daycare setting (rough play, doesn't understand social cues, etc), the staff always ensure 1:1 staff playtime or try to pair him with another dog with similar play styles. Husker seems to love his time here and is always tired after we pick him up. I also love that the staff is very communicative and will send us pictures and video updates when we board him.

We (husband, myself & our large boxer Monty) love Allie's…read more We hadn't been traveling much. Hubby gets deep in his feelings around the pets. Add to that a bad experience boarding our last dog. Times that by the fact that Monty has had behavioral issues, and we were grounded. We didn't have anywhere we could trust to take care of him, especially with Monty's outgoing personality. I started taking Monty to Allie's for daycare when I started working nearby (even though we live in SF). I'd pick him up at the end of the day and he'd be comatose, something we deeply appreciate as boxer parents. I appreciate Allie's tell-it-like-it-is, roll-up-your-sleeves approach: what you see it what you get, and the lady is dedicated to her dogs -- and those in her care. As we grew to love Allie and appreciate Monty's experience at daycare, we dared to have him boarded there. It was such a sane experience. He had a behavioral issue, which Allie handled like a champ (which is amazing), and he didn't get excluded or punished; she just dealt with it. We were able to see him in vids and pics on IG during the day, putting the worrisome hubby's mind at ease (no easy task). We have now boarded him 4 times, and can tell Monty has the best time. How? This needy only child acts like he barely recognizes us and sleeps long hours once we get home. His cup is full in every way. Nothing happier for a dog owner than coming home to a safe and happy pup. :)

I am truly grateful for Allie's Day Camp and Boarding Services. The price is well worth the freedom my sweet Nala enjoys instead of being locked in a kennel 8 hours/day. Right. Dogs are literally like babies, from how they want to walk, to what they will actually eat, how many times to eat, how to be social - all the things. I noticed Pepe had growth areas in all the things... Especiallyyyyyy eating and getting super aggressive when he passes other dogs on our walks. Super grateful for Whinde. she's given me some food recipes for Pepe to try out (which he loves), and some training techniques for easier walks. When I tell you, not only was dog sitting easier and more fulfilling for me, but his mother came home to a happier camp and is super grateful for The Dog Haus herself.

It's hard to believe it's been six years since Teddy first started going to Lucky Buddies! We joke…read morethat we're one of the "OGs" because we've been with Yesi since the very beginning--back when she was caring for pups through Rover, long before Lucky Buddies grew into the incredible daycare it is today. Watching Lucky Buddies grow has been such a joy, but what amazes me most is that their heart has never changed. Even as they've expanded, every dog is still treated like family. Teddy has been loved, cared for, and celebrated every step of the way, and there isn't a single person on the Lucky Buddies team that I wouldn't trust with him. They've truly become part of our village. From daycare and baths to transportation, check-ins, and walks, they've made life so much easier over the years. But beyond the services, it's the peace of mind that means the most. I never have to wonder if Teddy is safe, loved, or happy--I know he is. As I prepare to move away, one of the hardest things to leave behind is Lucky Buddies. I honestly don't know how I'll ever find another place like them. They've set the standard for what exceptional dog care looks like, and I will forever be grateful for the love they've poured into Teddy over the past six years. Thank you, Yesi, and the entire Lucky Buddies team, for loving Teddy as if he were your own. It truly takes a village to raise a pup, and I don't know how I would've done these last six years without ours.

Their genuine love for the dogs is evident in the way they interact with and care for them. They know each dog's personality, treat them like family, and it's clear the dogs adore them in return. We also boarded Snowy at Lucky Buddies while we traveled out of the country. It was the first time I had ever been away from her for an extended period, and I was incredibly anxious. The team was so understanding and compassionate. They took amazing care of Snowy and sent me daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. Hands down, this has been the best daycare and boarding experience we could have asked for. We trust the Lucky Buddies team completely, and we're so grateful to have found them. This review is long overdue. We adopted a 2yo pit bull in February 2020 from a shelter. Then, as…read moreyou know, Covid hit the very next month. Our boy had been found wondering the streets of SJ. With my wife and I, he was the Biggest love bug. So cute, and funny, and cuddly. But we can only imagine the terrible experiences he had endured. He had a scar atop his head and was very nervous around new people, which led to behavior like growling and snapping at times. His fear was only made worse by social distancing and not being around new people. Once Covid settled a bit we sought out a trainer for him. I'll never forget the first day Dawna came to the house. Our pup growled and was very displeased that this stranger was in his space, and worse, trying to interact with him. Dawna was not a bit deterred, which I was impressed by but I remained skeptical. Fast forward something like 2 weeks: Dawna interacted with him with ease on training days and he loved receiving love and pets from her. We couldn't believe it. Dawna taught us how to train him and he was able to meet all kinds of new people and doggy friends on our outings. We are forever grateful. We only had 2 years with him. Cancer. This review is long overdue (and also long in length LOL)! A year ago, Moriah accepted my dog Teddy…read morefor a 4 week board-and-train to tackle his severe leash reactivity. Without exaggeration, Moriah has changed both my and Teddy's lives forever, and so I wanted to write this for others looking for help with their reactive pups. As some context, Teddy is a golden retriever + great pyr mix and was around 2.5yo at the time. Teddy has severe excitement-based reactivity and would lunge and bark at dogs within like 0.3 seconds of seeing them (from over a 20ft+ distance!). It was incredibly hard to have teachable moments, I was getting injured & knew he was in a lot of stress as well. I had gone thru (primarily all R+) puppy training, private training, virtual consult & training, listened to podcasts and read books, etc. With his growing size & his breed dispositions, I really wanted to try balanced training with an expert. Moriah was the exact person we needed. She cares deeply about dogs and I really appreciated that she was so knowledgeable about LGDs and leash reactivity, and also honest about expectations for her training. She really sets you up to succeed as a team, because dog training is more about human training than the dog IMO. Aside from the incredible training she did 1-on-1 with Teddy, on my end, Moriah taught me how to read my dog's body cues, be a more consistent handler and show up as a reliable person in my dog's eyes. Teddy is now professionally trained on prong collar and e-collar, giving me physical tools I can choose to use. She always guides me through her logic of why and how she would use the e-collar vs. R+ vs. a combination. She is still invested in our progress long after the B&T period, still down to troubleshoot with me if I have a quick question. Before the board and train, Teddy and I lived with so many restrictions... staying within my neighborhood with the dreaded training sessions far far away from other dogs. After B&T...both our worlds have expanded so much. We can now do the long trail walks and jogs and have explored so many parks in the Bay! We do an evening walk almost everyday. I just came back from a great session where we walked past large and tiny barking dogs, 100% pass. Some days he'll be more reactive than others, but we now have skills and tools where we can defuse the situation and move on quickly with confidence. If you have a reactive dog, especially a big or LGD breed, I highly recommend working with Moriah. It is the best decision I've made for Teddy. I still remember bringing Teddy home from B&T and being in shock that I could walk at a park at sunset with my dog for the first time ever. That's where I took this pic of Teddy and always feel emotional seeing it. So much thanks and gratitude to Moriah!!

I needed help with his greetings of new people, leash manners, and his ability to exercise some self-control. In just a matter of weeks, Moriah made significant progress with him. It was so amazing to see the videos she shared along the way of him learning. Now, a year after my dog went to board and train with her, he is leaps and bounds better. Even with exciting people, friends, and activities around him. So, that is all to say that I highly recommend her training services!
