When we were leaving at 5:30pm there had to have been a line of 80+ people waiting outside to get in. Once past the check in process, the place is cool. They have lots of activities and it was a good place for our toddlers and teenage to get some energy out. This park offers quite a few activities that others do not and that is why we go there. However, we will be more selective on the times we go if there's a next time.

The staff were helpful and kind. We didn't purchase any food or drinks on site so I can't speak on any of that. But they did provide a free water cooler which is all we needed. Lockers were available but we didn't use one. Plenty of seating and there's also shaded seating that can be rented if you choose. Also available were "cabanas" to rent which had tables and chair and a cooler you can use if you had a large party or something. We left, cleaned up and went to dinner then came back that evening to do the go carts and laser tag. The go cart staff was cool and everything went smoothly. The carts and maintained and ran well. The laser tag was fun also. We met several friends there and had a good time. Overall would recommend Daytona lagoon. Some prices seemed high but hey, welcome to Daytona beach in 2024 ‍. Sounded great! We arrived and immediately had problems with the staff validating our parking. Then, we asked about lockers, and they were $10 - $15 to keep your things safe. We paid that additional fee, and then realized that the lazy river was shut down. I asked a lifeguard why, and he said they were understaffed and maybe it would open at 4 or 5 (our tickets were only good until 6). Other visitors were also complaining about this. There are no umbrellas, just chairs in the sun. And the only attraction we wanted to do was closed so we got our stuff out of the expensive locker and asked for a refund. The manager said that the lack of lazy river access was specified in the online ad, which it was not. She then said that we should be happy since this was a discounted fee. We were not. They finally did refund our money but refused to refund the locker fee since they outsource this service. And, of course, the parking was still a problem. My husband also had bought a drink with a $20 bill and the attendant scrutinized it saying they had a lot of counterfeits. All in all the entire experience was hugely frustrating and disappointing. They treated us like the bad guys when they had clearly misrepresented the experience. I can see why no one was really there. This place could be a great asset to Daytona, but it is really a huge embarrassment. We won't be back, and we won't recommend it to anyone else.

Feces on the floor from backed up toilets, no toilet paper, and the septic overflowing into the driveway you have to walk thru to the entrance of the place. The bar was fully functional and had plenty of space. There is efficient parking and the garage doors add a great feature aesthetically and functionally. I also had a great experience with the owner, who was very accomodating and made sure we had sufficient access to what we needed. We had about 75 in attendance and did not need for more space. I would personally recommend The Experience hands down.

A decent hotel on the surface that unfortunately falls short where it matters most: sleep. But if a good night's rest is your priority, you may want to look elsewhere. The AC unit is loud and occasionally puts out an unpleasant smell, which was a nuisance throughout the stay. The walls are paper thin. Conversations from neighboring rooms came through clearly, and the hallway doors slam constantly with no relief. We managed to doze off between 11:30pm and 4am before being jolted awake by slamming doors and a neighboring couple having a full-blown argument in the hallway. Not exactly the relaxing night we had in mind. A few other small gripes: no blackout curtains, though the shades do a reasonable job, light creeps in from the sides. There is also no ice machine on the floors, though they do provide pre-bagged ice at the front desk downstairs. On the brighter side, breakfast was a nice touch if it is included in your rate. It is not a buffet but a made-to-order setup with a choice of omelet, burrito, or sandwich. We went with a fully loaded veggie option and it came generously stuffed. Nothing extraordinary taste-wise, but a solid and filling start to the day. The gym was a good size, though the free weight selection skews heavy, so if you prefer lighter weights you may find yourself out of luck. Clean, functional, and fairly priced for what it is, but bring earplugs.
