I bring my boys here and they always are thrilled to race. They have gotten so good that they have placed first place several times.

NOT SAFE!!! Parents beware--these carts are very unsafe, can go airborne, and it is only a matter of time before someone is catastrophically injured or worse. At my son's 14th birthday party, he and six buddies did the teen party on the adult track. During the third race, my son swerved sideways, his buddy's cart behind him stayed straight and then T-boned my son. The buddy went airborne, driving OVER my son's shoulder and grazing his helmet, and clearing the other side of the cart. We are so thankful that the cart did not squarely hit his head at these speeds. When asked how often these carts get airborne, the manager told me "quite often." In response to my concern about safety, the manager retorted that we signed a waiver and thus we knew that DEATH or catastrophic injury was a risk we were assuming by letting our kids on the track at K1. In response to letting the manager know that child waivers are not enforceable in Illinois, they referred me to a more senior manager in California. They have yet to confirm that they did an investigation, that they have referred this case for review, or doing anything to prevent this from happening in the future. For instance, there are no cages or roll bars covering any part of the person in these carts. It is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or worse at K1. And K1 knows of this risk, yet simply does not care as they are banking on (unenforceable) liability waivers. And on top of all of this, the service at this location was horrible. We will not return and strongly discourage any parents of teens from bringing your kids here.

This is my favorite location! Visiting from Houston, Tx for the 3rd time. This place is very spacious and lots to do while you wait for your race. The track is also very easy and fun to maneuver. The equipment is well maintained and cleaned, and the staff is friendly and professional.

This place was so fun! When you enter you have to fill out a waiver. There's a bar with food. They don't let you drink before driving the carts...so do this after. They provide the helmets for you to wear. We had two races. The first race there was a bunch of people with us. It took me a few laps to feel comfortable. Once I did though it was sooooo fun! Way smoother than the out door go carting of the past. Our second race was just myself and my friend. I much preferred racing with less people because you didn't get stuck behind someone or worry about people trying to pass you. You can see you're score on a big screen. They also give you a print out of you're score. They have pool tables, air hockey, and bags for additional fun.

I had a blast of a time. I wanted to do some fun and out of the box things for the month of my birthday. I was definitely not disappoint with the experience that I had coming here to this location. It's a bit pricey. I should of follow my right mind and purchase the deal when I saw it on Groupon. Bummer Right. The staff were super cool. They knew it was my first time here and they were super attentive and made sure that I would and was very comfortable. Great Place & Lots Of Fun. I would like to come back and do it again and again. There is also a bar where you can purchase drinks and food. There is another area where you can shoot pool and play other games.

How long does a single race take? I'm trying to time out a day correctly.

Hello Victoria! Races can vary in time, but typically each race lasts anywhere between 6 to 10 minutes. Just depends on how fast the quickest driver completes 12 laps. See you at the track!

For their 3-race package, approximately how long does it take? Trying to plan out my day and how long I should expect to be there.

Plan on 3 races taking you a couple hours, customer service is horrible and you have to wait 45 min to 1 hr for the first race and they won't book your races back to back. So plan on waiting 10-20 min between each race.

Do I have to make a reservation if it's just two people, or are walk-ins also available?

They only take reservations for groups of 8 or more. Yes, you can walk in, it is first come first served usually have to wait for 75-120minutes before your first race then a ten minute break before your next race.

We spent 2 hours here and got to try every ride and have lunch. It's small so 2 hours was perfect. Our 4 year old rode the carousel, flying pirate ship, train, Giant slide, water boats and rock climbing wall (with harnesses). There is a big play lot that is really fun too. Concession options were good - pizza, chicken tenders, corn dog, hot dog, fries, ice cream. No juice boxes. Clean bathrooms and water fountain. Lots of tables in the shade to eat. The ride operators were extra special nice to the kids. One stopped to help our kid with her shoe at the top of the slide and one put towels on the seat of the ride so it wasn't too hot from the sun. We left happy!

I believe the hours listed on Yelp are incorrect. I am a…read moresummer camp counselor and we brought our five year olds here for the day. They had a wonderful time and loved it! From the perspective of a caretaker I had some concerns. There were inconsistencies at the rock climbing wall. We had one student (a very small one) who was allowed to go the first time he went, denied the second time, and allowed the third time. Different workers were there each time and eligibility to go on the wall is supposed to be based on weight. The workers at the wall were not very helpful to the kids with getting their harnesses on, nor did they monitor the kids as they climbed, leading to two kids getting tangled as they came down. There were other instances of workers not setting timers for rides like the boats and bounce house, even though there were long rides for both. Overall the kids loved it, rides were age-appropriate and lines went quickly.

I guess since I didn't grow up here and it's not really geared toward adults it makes sense. We got a chance to visit this season before they closed and it was so much fun. As the name suggests, it's Christmas/Santa/winter themed. The daily price is high, but next year I think we'll be buying a season pass and hopefully can balance pool pass and amusement park visits. My daughter had so much fun with her friend here. And there's more than I expected! The rides were good, and though there aren't a ton of them they are solid and enjoyable. I rode a few, and I wasn't sure they'd be fat friendly. The Route 66 ride was fun; it reminded me of Tomorrowland Speedway, but with cooler cars. And the fire truck ride was a unique one; though I don't have a lot of amusement park experience but I didn't expect to see a fire truck that takes you over to a fire (gas powered) and lets the kids aim their hoses to put it out. There's a petting zoo, with pigs, alpacas, goats, sheep, and so on. You can buy a cup of feed and they will be your best friends for real. There's also an aviary, where you can buy a feed stick to encourage the birds to come pick from. We spent a lot of time in both those areas, and the kids really got a kick out of feeding the animals. After going on a bunch of the rides, we went to the wading pool. I didn't realize how extensive it was--it's a very large pool area, but the water is only a few feet deep and it's a zero entry pool. I thought it would be much smaller, so I didn't bring a suit--but luckily my friend did since you can't go into the pool unless you're properly attired. There were various slides and I think my kiddo could have spent hours there. But the day was cool and there was a bit of rain, so we only stayed a short while. I'm really looking forward to going more often next summer, letting the kiddo enjoy the pool much longer. Parking is free--at least as of 2026. There are concessions, and you're not supposed to be able to bring outside food, but somehow my friend snuck some in so YMMV.

It is conveniently located off of I90 and Dundee. The parking lot was pretty good for its size and, while we did arrive right when they opened, we had no issues finding a parking spot. Plus, as we were leaving, we saw a lot of open spots. The place does have a few restaurants but the food is decent for what it is. It will not be a 5 star groumet meal. We had the pizza and it was delicious. It reminded me of a school pizza growing up and a little bit of Sbarro. It filled us up and our picky 3 year old loved it so that was a bonus. We also went to a different location to get freshly squeezed lemonade and iced coffee. Both were delicious and perfect mid day snack during sunny afternoon The bathrooms were clean enough. The rides were fun and staff was very friendly. At the end of the day, we stopped and greeted Santa. I loved this experience since he was very patient and kind to our daughter. And it was very personalized. I was under the assumption was simple, and pose for photos but no... he talked to her and read her signs as to how comfortable she was. I appreciated Santa so much since he could tell she was getting a little scared and nervous. Overall, it is a fun place to be especially as a child. This one visit convinced us enough to become season pass owners as we left the park. We will be back in the near future.

Specifically, I forever feel like we're being told to exit the pool for things like adult swim and swim lessons. During July 4 weekend, for example, for all practical purposes, only pass holders could reach the water park due to the city's carnival. The pool was mostly empty. And yet, adult swim continued! The shallower portion of the pool had precisely one swimmer for one session, and -- get this -- none in the next. It's simply bizarre. They kept evacuating the pool. And today, on the day of this writing, if you call the daily update line, it says nothing about swim lessons, yet during lessons, you must again leave the pool. (There are lessons today, BTW.) While I understand wanting to give adults some time, it seems downright authoritarian and overbearing sometimes. Why not just close off the deeper section? If you come for a visit with young children, be ready for the blaring whistles and obediently head for your towel. No questions asked.

I used to be a life guard and can see the warning signs. I have witnessed several situations (6) where the life guards were vigilant and attentive in rescuing those in need. Not sure if they still do this but head life guard picked someone at random and asked them to subtly test their lifeguards sometime during their visit (Suggestion: be underwater for extended period, grab lap lane & pretend to have a leg cramp and drag self along to edge see if assistance is offered) to keep the lifeguards on their toes. By trying to teach lifeguards to look for warning signs of a potential problem I think they are doing a great job.
