However many you buy, you will wish it was more. Get as many as you can afford. This is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Makes a great gift. Positives? Good cars with more capability than you will be able to use. These are actual retired race cars, mostly late model short track cars. Great instructors and staff. Radio communications in your ear while on the track. Passing allowed. You can really hang it out. Even if you're driving, get the ride along first, so you know how fast the cars are capable of going. Otherwise you'll waste laps getting up to speed. Drawbacks? They are usually running behind schedule. The personal equipment, firesuits, helmets, etc. are well used. If you have your own that meet the specs, bring them. By the time they are done explaining the damage policy everyone is spooked about damaging the cars. Get the damage insurance (upsell) and go for it. They will temp you with lots of upsells; videos, photos, insurance, extra laps. Conclusion? I highly recommend this company. I've been involved in short track oval racing for 50 years, and this is as close as most people will ever get to actually racing. It had been 20 years since I had driven a race car, and I was instantly back in those days.

I believe the paperwork mentioned that they may be off schedule a bit and to allow an hour or so. That wasn't the case here. After being there for a couple of hours, we were informed that there was a gas leak earlier in the day that affected something and that something else happened. Because of that, they had one car instead of two and they were way behind schedule. They also had to reschedule people from the previous day because of rain, so I'm sure that was a part of it. Anyway, they offered us an extra lap around the track for having to wait so long. The two guys who worked in the ride along area and the driver of the car were all very nice. The ride was exhilarating. The driver would mostly ride along the outside of the track, only moving in a bit on the turns. I was slightly terrified because we were so close to the wall, but it was a blast. It goes by really quickly. Would I do this again? Maybe on a better day when I don't mind standing outside for a while. It was a cold and windy day.

They are very lax with enforcing the mask requirement, which was disturbing. Adult and children patrons, as well as staff, not wearing masks or improperly wearing masks risks everyone's safety. The Snack stand makes snacks to order, so I had to wait 15 minutes for an undercooked, doughy pretzel and a semi-decent slice of pepperoni pizza which costed me nearly $7. The upside is that there weren't a lot of people present and they didn't charge a "spectator" fee, which is something new that Skateland implemented for non-skating patrons.

I wish that they would make some kind of rule that people cannot reserve entire rows of seating for guests that have not yet arrived, but I suppose that is a personal preference. Their concessions were open, and they had a stand out front where you could buy flowers and mementos for the graduates, which I thought was nice. If you happened to be "up in the rafters" they also had huge screens where you could view the ceremony from the perspective of cameras that were strategically placed around the stage. Parking was $10, but I feel that it was well worth it to be able to have so many family members and friends with us on such a joyous day!

I did not take a ride on the train because it started raining. If you've never been to the Hooks drugstore Museum, this is a must. It's truly like stepping back into time. There is a cute candy shop that you can get some nostalgic candy for a minimal price. Buy the ride bracelet! For four people to ride the carousel (12 tickets pp) cost $25! My husband set up a Yellow rose carriage ride for us and surprised me on our 5th year anniversary…read more This was a most pleasant enjoyable evening Canal tour with our wonderful young Phantom pulling horse and his driver, Kaitlyn. Phantom was anxiously waiting and raring to take off excited as he was, he wasn't a horse wanting to just stand around, he almost kept wanting to take off he was so excited. Kaitlyn was well seasoned with Phantom knowing everything about him and many others from their pulling team. She graciously explained a lot about the history of Yellow rose, about their very cared for horses, and knew all the right calls for Phantoms movements intertwining throughout the tour despite of all the crazy drivers. He even caught up with and passed one of his little girly friend horses, Roxie and also saw Ripley along the way. This was so fun to see and experience the joy he had and slight pick up in his step to catch up with one of his team members. We are so pleased with our evening carriage ride throughout the city of Indpls. This was quite a memorable evening for the both of us just relaxing and enjoy a very steady cruise at a walking pace thru the duration of our trip. Our guide, Kaitlyn, took took a pic of us in the carriage before our ride started and afterward with Phantom. Afterward, she allowed us to have a little bit of time with Phantom, as well getting a chance to thank them both for such a great evening. We love animals and I was able to give Phantom a big hug and kiss as he bowed his head and nuzzled hello. The price is very reasonable (so no reason not to tip the great guides!) While it's about a 25+ minute drive for me, the membership includes access to both locations, so I can also visit the east side, which is a little closer. The new facility is currently self-assessed, so you're free to jump in at the level you're most comfortable with. Self-assessment is going away 2/1. The only small downside is that the space between courts isn't separated by barriers, so balls can easily roll into other courts and interrupt games. I usually don't wait very long to jump into another game as they have their rotation system down. Their bathrooms are clean and I appreciate that they also have changing rooms. As a beginner-intermediate player, I really appreciate how friendly and supportive the community is. Almost everyone is helpful and gives me grace as I continue to improve.

Shonda answered all of these questions and more. It was so nice to meet her in the trailer on a perfectly clear cool autumn morning where she gave us our gear, as we were fitted in a full fire suit and shoes for the day. Next, we met Scott Jasek for a short orientation. He gave a great overview to both the car and the track. Then, it was off to the speedway. Several options and opportunities are available for riding with a race car driver, driving a IndyCar or both. Race car enthusiasts can even have a once in a lifetime opportunity to ride with legend Mario Andretti in the 200 MPH Club which is offered once a year. Next, it was on to the track. Each driver or rider is kept socially distanced and masks are required. At the heart of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, we received our gloves and helmets as we patiently waited for our ride or drive. You are literally standing on the track where the Indy 500 happens. Then, on to the track, strapped safely, deeply in the custom Dallara Automobili car, and the pit crew sends you off for laps around the track at 180 mph. Such an exhilarating feeling. What an unbelievable, incredible experience. SO MUCH FUN!! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience..or maybe twice...or...

They schedule a lot of people in a short amount of time, but there are so many factors that come into play, and a lot has to do with making things safe for the riders. I found that the staff was as pleasant and as helpful as they could be given the tide of participants. The ride was short, which I expected, but it as a thrill and I exited the car saying "oh, my gosh, and how can they do that?" I have been to 33 Indy 500's and this has heightened my impression of the drivers. Some riders did take the time to talk to the drivers so it must be ok to do so.
