The place has plenty of parking both in the lot and on the street. The interior is modern and comfortable. There is plenty of seating for parties of multiple group sizes. Wait time for food may vary depending on the hour you come in. At 9:30pm, your food may come out in 10 minutes like mine did. It may take longer and it may only be available for take out. I ordered the Sweet n Spicy BBQ 5pcs chicken set and it was delicious! The chicken was crispy and tender. The fries and salad were also great and complimented the chicken well. All-in-all, this was a GREAT value meal for under $20. Definitely satisfied my Korean Fried Chicken cravings and then some. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a great chicken spot! read more

Got the 16 piece k-town signature fried chicken, which is served with a side of potato wedges. Food came out hot, and a little salty. But I think that's what makes the chicken so addicting (you definitely don't need sauces with this chicken). The ketchup that came on the side was good! Doesn't taste like regular ketchup. It almost has an apple saucy flavor to it. Chairs are a little dinged up and you have to purchase your own water but overall a good experience! read more

Located in the 1st Food Hall. Freshly prepared Korean style fried chicken. Hot and tasty. Service is fast and seating is in the food hall. Usually busy. read more

I was in town for an overnight simply to take a plane home. My travel buddy and I got some serious munchies and remembered this K Town place because it's right across the street. So walk across the street we did and ordered up some Korean fried chicken. I took the K Town signature, which is their take on regular fried chicken. It's what KFC should taste like. It's the crunch KFC should have. it tastes way better to. Truth be told, it's the best goddamn fried chicken I've ever had and I would have stayed in town a few days more, just to plow through their menu. It's that good. read more

The food itself is good but I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE PACKAGING. I mean pizza boxes? Really? Pizza boxes are not leak proof! If they are trying to be eco friendly there are other much better options for food that drips. Got sauce all over the floor and my desk and almost in my keyboard, it's very sticky and hard to clean. We don't order from here anymore because we don't want sauce all over our house so the only real option is to dine in which isn't possible since I got sick. We tried wrapping the pizza boxes in garbage bags to contain the dripping but that's pretty tiresome and over all not worth the struggle. Would be nice if they changed to normal packaging like bowls made of bamboo or something. read more

One of the best Korean fried chicken I've tried so far. The crispiness and crunchy texture, in contrast with the tender and juicy meat inside, and of course the seasoning and flavour hit the right spot. I also tried their soy garlic and was very delighted. I love the addition of fried slivered garlic. The sauce was salty, but I'm not bothered by it. I recommend having rice or fries on the side with it. I'm glad this place is only 10min walk away from me! read more

K Town Fried Chicken - Original and sweet & spicy - Korean Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

This place actually closes at 10.... After seeing the post in yelp, thinking that they close at 2300, it was 2150 at the time. Ordered online. Got a call 2 min later that they're close at 10.... Rushed there, and got there at 2205. I told the lady at front counter that yelp that said they close at 2300 and she said what's yelp.... "You should have checked our website before ordering".... I was speechless The food I got was not what I ordered. I received the soy garlic chicken.. it was super salty. I can't even finish it. Will not go back. read more

Tasty chicken, but the pieces I had were only luke warm. My guess is that not all of the chicken is made fresh. My chicken was probably made at least an hour before I ate it. I get that you can't make everything fresh if you're busy, but come on It was just me my two boys and 4 other people in the place. The menu wasn't as straight forward as one might think, and the person who took our order really wasn't helpful at making any suggestions either. read more

K Town Fried Chicken - a restaurant with a large sign on the wall - Korean Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Worst Korean fried chicken ever! This food here is not authentic fried chicken. Feel like they took it from microwave so make it fast. Not fresh at all. And it's very salty. Super disappointed! Moreover, the service is awful! The girls whispered and giggles after seeing the customers. Not professional at all! read more

My friends and I just happened to have a short vacation in Calgary for long weekend. We were so hungry at night and decided to look for food and found this place at skip. We ordered the garlic chicken soy, green onion chicken, and rice ball! Overall the food is good! The chicken is stilll crispy outside and juice inside eventho it coated with sauce. Garlic soy chicken sauce - it comes with few pirces odeep fried rice cake (so good!) and 8pcs of chicken in total. Personally, the sauce is little bit overpowering, so i guess for me I prefer if they seperate the sauce (but my friends love this a lot!!!) Green onion and cilantro chicken - comes with seperate tamarind mustard sauce (liquid) that you pour them on top of the chicken before you eat. Honestly, this is my favourite!!!!. It also come in 8pcs Rice ball - a rice that marinate with some sauce -- it has the details on the menu (but i can taste the sesame oil and mirin and nori!). personally think that it was so small (lol maybe i guess i was so hungry!) but taste wise its good. -- no picture for thiss sorry Must visit this place when you are in Calgary! (both for visitor or if you are calgary people) really recomended! read more

K Town Fried Chicken - garlic soy chicken (right) and green onion chicken (left) - Korean Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Drove by this place on the way into town and i love Korean fried chicken! This place didnt disappoint. Even though the prices seem high what you get will make up for it. I would recommend getting the half order and splitting it with a friend. If its not enough, which it will be, then order again. The half order was about 7 pieces of chicken and the pieces were huge. Im not into rice cakes; had no idea what they were and didnt want to pay to find out i didnt like them so the cashier happily told me she could sub with 4 potato wedges. Its so odd having a specific number of wedges but they did the trick. The chicken wasnt super crispy or crunchy but i still enjoyed it. I read that the original flavor was a bit bland so i opted for the Sweet Chili flavor. Amazing. I was starving and finished as much as i could but still took some home for the next day. My friend got the bbq chili 5 pcs of chicken for $8 and they were just as good but had a slightly sweeter taste. I would definitely go back! read more

K Town Fried Chicken - The Spicy Chili half order with wedges instead of rice cakes. - Korean Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Awesome tasting fried chicken Not too salty and breading is awesome Chicken cut into smaller pieces so you seem like you're getting more but it'll already hit the spot after 1 bite Could have more choices but it's still great K Town Signature Potato Wedges Spicy & Sweet Chicken read more

We got their 5pc chicken set that comes w/ salad, side, and drink ⁣ ⁣ We got their sweet & spicy BBQ and green onion/cilantro flavors. The BBQ flavor was good but wasn't spicy at all and the sauce unfortunately made the batter a bit soggy The green onion/cilantro flavor was really good! They had this tamrand (wasabi-like) sauce on the side which we prefered over it being mixed in - could enjoy the crispiness of the chicken and sauce it up to your own liking ⁣We recommend the spicy coleslaw and rice balls for your sides ⁣ An open and welcoming environment, great place to eat with friends! read more

K Town Fried Chicken - sweet & spicy chicken, green onion/cilantro chicken, spicy coleslaw, fries, rice balls - Korean Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Pretty good price. We recommend the original and the garlic soy. The garlic soy is quite salty so you might need fries or rice balls to go with it. We ordered 2 halves and 1 fries. There were 6 pieces per portion, and that was a lot for 2 adults. We had to take home half of what we ordered. read more

Turned away on 1st Saturday of Stampede at 945 pm, after a long trip across town. I was just going to order and take it away. I told them that. I could have easily ordered on the way by phone or over the internet and just picked up, if I had known. Chubby Asian girl with glasses. The same one who is complained about repeatedly in other reviews. I have struggled every time I have dealt with her. They would be fulfilling pickup orders for at least the next hour, I would think. Need to find a new Korean chicken place. Disastrous service fail read more

The chicken was really good here. I got the peshmerga and the sweet and spicy I think, both were delicious. The half size is the normal size and is ver generous with the portion for the price. I will definitely be back! read more

My opinion...this place is average. I go here for the convience and dont want to drive to Yum Yum or Wow. It is a hit or a miss on the crispy skin and on the service. Combo is a bit pricy for what you get, but I do know the size of the pieces of chicken got bigger since their grand opening. read more

After watching a bunch of K dramas on TV, my wife decided it was time to try some Korean Fried Chicken. We arrived at a little past 1PM. The restaurant was half full or half empty. We went up to the counter and ordered half a K Town Signature, half a sweet and spicy BBQ and The Green, a salad of theirs. The only thing missing was the beer that they always drink in the K dramas. The salad was served first. It was good. I liked their sesame soy garlic dressing. The fried chicken came out a little later. I don't know what kind of chickens they used, but, the half vs. full chicken thing is kind of a misnomer. It seemed to me that they serve it by counting the pieces, and we had ordered way more than we needed for 3 people. The sweet and spicy was definitely better than the original. The original just seemed bland when eaten along with the sweet and spicy. Service was okay. It would've been nice if the girl had told us that we probably ordered too much. It's a good place. But, I'm wondering what my wife will find next in her Korean dramas. read more

We ordered the garlic soy chicken. It came with a drink, 2 rice balls and greek salad for $12. We also ordered 1/2 of sweet & bbq chicken & truffle fries. This is far the BEST fried chicken I've had. Chicken is juicy, crispy, salty sweet. The truffle fries was really good with parmesan cheese on top. I wish KTownFried Chicken opens a location in Seattle. The inside was neat, love the casual vibe, the glass ceiling brought natural lighting. The staff was really friendly. read more

Donot call to order they don't pick-up phone and if you order in person wait is 40 to 60 minute. There service is bad and their K-TOWN Signature is dry and tasteless - one piece is super salty and other is salt less. Liked spicy soy garlic one. Not a good first experience. read more

Their fried chickens are a bit smaller than I thought. Less "meaty" but crunchy and not greasy at all. Worth of trying their fried chickens but I do not know I would go again. read more

We've ordered a few times from them now and I can confidently say their chicken is really really good. The regular fried chicken is great. The spicy & sweet chicken is exceptional and their fries are fresh cut and good. On the surface the chicken price seems expensive but honestly 1 order can feed 2 people and if one of you is a really big eater, get an order of fries for a few extra bucks. Will continue to order and try their other flavours read more

I think this is easily some of the best fried chicken in Calgary! I like the truffle battered one. The truffle fries are also so delicious.

This fried chicken was not good. We ordered the signature flavour and the garlic flavour. The soy garlic was not bad but the signature was very bad. It was bland and dry with no flavour. It tasted like if you boiled a raw chicken. Do not recommend. Would much more recommend somewhere like chicken on the way or wow chicken. read more
