Overall, this is my favorite kbbq spot in LA. I always bring friends and family who are visiting here and the experience has overall been very enjoyable. The staff have usually been attentive. Anything we asked for was graciously fulfilled and in a timely manner. Tonight, I came with two friends. It was the busiest I have ever seen the restaurant! Every table was taken and we got the last available table! Meat quality is always excellent. The problem I had tonight was the attentiveness. Our meat was cooking on the grill for a while and I took the initiative to move it to the side so they wouldn't be overcooked. Any other time, the staff will cook it from start to finish. I would blame it on how busy it was but there were a number of times that the staff was standing around talking to each other. Our water pitcher was empty and on the edge of the table but the staff never came to check on it. I also had to ask for sesame oil multiple times. They also usually bring the sesame oil out with some salt but they never brought out any salt. Today could have been a one off experience but what I'm hoping doesn't happen is that the restaurant loses its excellent customer service over time. Still would highly recommend. read more

We came in a party of 11 people, but because their tables are set in stone, we were not able to combine the tables to have the whole group together. The bbq sets came with Tteokbokki, Gyeranjim (Steam Egg), and a Kimchi + Minari (Korean parsley) fried rice at the end. They were all great!! Meat quality was great too, especially the galbi. The galbi comes with a garlic dipping sauce. Overall great Kbbq spot, but not my favourite based on personal preference. Service was also great. read more

Luckily I was able to snag a spot with a group of friends at K Team BBQ to watch the World Cup game and we had an amazing time (despite the Korea team loss). The restaurant is casual and clean and I loved the tile tabletops. Service was so attentive, the meats were cooked perfectly, and the grill was kept nicely organized throughout our whole meal. Everything is ordered a la carte and all the meats and banchan were simply so good and of great quality. The pork belly and pork jowl were amazing and we really enjoyed the beef brisket too. We went on a Sunday and everything tasted fresh, all the meats were good quality and there was an abundance of sides to wrap our food with. Great services! Very tentative when they cooked for you, ensuring the meats cooked evenly and not burnt. They automatically refilled the sides and asked whether you need anything else or extra. Very generous sides/banchan and soooo tasty. Stand out for me are the fresh perilla leaves and crunchy cucumber side. Galbi is very tender and slightly marinated. The garlic butter that came with it gave it a nice touch. Make sure you dip all the to the bottom and bring it up for more garlic bits. Others meats were alright. Finally got around to trying this place after it was heavily recommended by some friends and I think I've found my new favorite kbbq spot. Although it is a bit of a trek to get to ktown, I think if anything brings us in the area, we will be torn between here and Han Baht. (Yes, it's that good). First, service is insane. The most attentive servers that really check your table to see if anything needs topping up before you have to ask. They also cook the food for you. Meat quality is good but everything that it comes with is even more impressive (see pictures). We also added a Kimchi stew, foolishly thinking we might need more food, it was probably the best Kimchi stew we've had in a while! Much more intimate than Parks across the street and yes they do cook for you too. I would suggest making reservations at least a day ahead if you want to eat here. It's usually crowded and getting a table for four can be difficult. The quality and service is exceptional. The kimchi fried rice (see pictures) was my favorite and was as good as it looks. I saw someone posted a photo of the checker pattern tables and I thought it was different from other KBBQ place. I called and surprisingly they take reservation! We had beef tung(woo sul) and beef rib(galbi). Can't beat the quality but still pretty good. Side dishes were minimum but there were vegies, egg pot and spicy rice cake pot for free. Got treated to K Team for my birthday! I don't eat beef so I'm always on the prowl for kbbq places with solid pork options and this place doesn't disappoint. Jowl and pork belly are stellar! The side of eggs and rice cake also came as a pleasant surprise so we over ordered a little. The meat got cooked alongside some of the kimchi so it absorbed the fat and was extra flavorful! One of my favorites was the kimchi pancake because it was so thin and crispy. Most restaurants have thicker slices, but it was just perfect here. Parking is "valet" (there's basically someone managing parking in the plaza) so helps to have cash for that. It's a bit small on the inside, but we somehow didn't have a wait. It can get pretty loud in there, but nothing too crazy. Can't wait to come back! read more

This place is great for non ayce kbbq. The atmosphere is lively. It's loud but not loud enough to where you can't converse with your friends and the servers and service is very good and easy to get ahold of. Almost all the meats we got were excellent. The only one we were ok with was the short rib. The pork jowl was amazing. Same for the beef tongue and brisket. The pork belly was also very flavorful! The banchan was pretty good though it seemed to be missing a few of what I'm use to. However the banchan itself was very high quality. At the end you can ask for the fried rice with egg after the grilling is done and all that's left is veggies. The steamed egg and kimchi Jjigae is a must for sides. This place takes reservations thankfully. Parking is going to be valet only unless you find street parking which is a whole mission in and of itself. Pricing wise. This was our first time here, and we enjoyed it! The vibe is casual and welcoming. We ordered a variety of meats, including both thin and thick cuts of pork, as well as skirt meat. The quality of meat did not disappoint. I appreciated that they brought out different types of kimchi to cook alongside the meat. They provided ssam (assorted lettuce, perilla leaves, and my favorite, rice cakes) which was a nice touch. We also ordered dwaenjangjjigae, which was flavorful. As complimentary service, they gave us ddukbokki and gaeranjjim (thank you, K team BBQ!). The ddukbokki was surprisingly good, with a kick of spice and a peppery flavor. We come to K Team BBQ all the time, and our must-orders never change: the flash-frozen pork belly and the pork jowl (pre-grilled), plus the minari veggie platter. It's our go-to combo every time. They always start you off with steamed egg and tteokbokki, and honestly the tteokbokki is so good. I also love how they grill the green onion kimchi together with the meat--perfect pairing. And if you wrap the meat with minari, the aroma is amazing. At the end, they grill the potatoes from the veggie platter on the hot plate. Lots of black pepper, super flavorful--wanted to eat more but we were already too full. We still need to come back just to try the kimchi fried rice and noodles because we never have space left. This might be my new favorite Kbbq spot in Ktown. Arrived at a tiny parking lot (they do valet for $3) and a packed restaurant but luckily we made reservations (highly recommended). Ordered brisket, thick pork belly, rib eye, and Galbi and ohhhhh man they were all so good. The quality of the meats here is just different - everything was mouth watering and paired perfectly with the banchan. The servers cooked for us which was fire as they were very attentive. Also ordered a steam egg and kimchi fried rice which was overkill as we were stuffed. Overall pretty small place compared to other Kbbq spots, but better quality than most. Talk about value..we got a combo I forget, but it came with all the vegetables and side items that you'd traditionally order separately! The meat was very good and my friend loved it as well. Parks, but Pork Centric. In a see of the new pork centric kbbq spots popping up around ktown Kteam from Parks stands out. Not only are you going to get the signature banchan you might know or love from Parks themselves you're getting some solid pork on top of that. Came in and grabbed one of the combos midweek and man this place is still poppin. The place was full around 8pm and we got a seat after a short 15 minute wait. The thin pork belly here was really nice, and as always the servers know what theyre doing when they cook for you. When you pair up the pork with the banchan and wrap them up in that ssam every bite is really enjoyable! We got the bokkeumbap at the end which was a little addition but honestly its worth it for sure. High quality meat, even better banchan, and servers that know how to grill up the meat just right, and we have a welcome addition to the neighborhood. When I heard a new Korean BBQ restaurant had opened, I was so excited to try it. I heard that it was opened by the same owner at Park's BBQ, just a couple blocks away, so my expectations were high. I could be wrong though.   However, I was let down. The service was mediocre, and the food was very disappointing. For the price I paid, it really wasn't worth it at all. The whole concept of frozen pork belly in Korea is supposed to be relatively cheap, but it is more expensive than just regular thick pork belly. Some of the veggies that complement pork belly, like Minari, were all extra cost, like every single thing.   Fried rice at the end wasn't impressive either. I just did not enjoy the food here at all. It was a one-time thing for me, surely. I have my go-to for pork belly, and it is not frozen pork belly where it is thinly sliced and cooked on aluminum foil, but I would rather have real thick pork belly if I am going to be overcharged for such a small portion for the price. It is quite funny because we were going to order more in the beginning, and the server assured us that it was too much food, so we listened and ordered less than we intended to. Their most popular menu is the thinly frozen pork belly, I never thought I'd voluntarily order pork ever in my life but I did it and it wasn't bad. Because it was thinly sliced and there were many condiments, I didn't taste any "porkiness" and it was delicious actually! I thought I was brave but when the pork jowl came out... I had to take two steps back... it just looked so intimidating! My ... chicken ass couldn't do it... and let the others in my party enjoy it without me. I ordered the brisket for myself HAHAHA and of course it was excellent. I highly recommend you order the sides; pollack roe, water parsley and veggies. These seemingly "nothing-really-special" sides amplified the experience! The pollack roe was a gem with the fried rice we ordered at the end of the meal! I was putting I believe it was sesame leaves with my rice wrap roll ups, I wanted to order more, $4! It's just principle at this point. W tip I spent $100 for two meats. I don't feel it was worth it when I could've gotten ayce for two for less. Again I take responsibility bc I looked at the menu before going. I read a write up in the Times. The place itself is cute. I made a reservation and they gave our table away, then made us wait while open tables sat empty. Strike one. Ordering was confusing, and when I tried to clarify, the server insisted everything was fine and refused to adjust anything. Later, when I questioned the order, he raised his voice at me in front of my daughter and told me I was wrong. Completely unprofessional. Never in my life you have I have a server raise their voice at me publicly!!! This is a solid casual Korean BBQ spot. We came for a weekend lunch, and it wasn't too busy--only about three other tables, which made for a relaxed experience. We ordered the brisket and boneless short rib, both of which were better than average in quality--fresh, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. However, my boyfriend was disappointed by the lack of banchan. At most Korean restaurants, complimentary side dishes are part of the experience, but here, everything was a la carte, which took away from the usual KBBQ vibe.
