After some recommendations from a friend and our contractor, we decided a mini-split system was the best solution to manage the problem. K T Sterling at KT Mechanical had recently consulted on a different, unrelated job, but we didn't end up using his services. He came highly recommended, so again I contacted him before 7am one day to get an estimate. To my surprise and satisfaction, I got an immediate response. Kenny came out the SAME DAY to provide an estimate for the system. He was thorough and identified another potential issue while walking the house. I wasn't at home so he sent me pictures of the problem as well as the options for the mini-split system. Guess I'm still considered a millennial, and I like immediate feedback.. so sending me pictures to review while I was at work was great. We decided to move forward and arranged a date for install. His guys arrived on time, looked neat and professional in appearance, were courteous and worked hard. Clearly, a strong work ethic is required to be employed with KT -- I don't think I saw these guys take a break until they left for lunch. They weren't gone more than hour and were right back at it. I can appreciate the hustle. At the end of the day, one of the technicians went over the warranty information and how to operate the system. The next day, Kenny followed up with me to answer any questions I had and to ensure everything went as I had expected. A quick (certainly not extensive) Google search, confirmed that KT's prices were indeed fair and reasonable. Included in my purchase was 24 hour maintenance service and no additional fees for after hours calls - certainly worth it - that's how you run a business! Kenny and his team are honest, very professional, timely and extremely efficient. If you're wondering about pricing, they are very comparable to other companies but the quality and craftsmanship is second to none. My wife and I bought our house 2 years ago and it had 2 older AC units (1 for upstairs, 1 for downstairs) and only base board heating. We went 1 winter without central heat and the electric bills were astronomical just to keep ourselves slightly warmer than miserable. Last fall, we called KT Sterling Mechanical and Kenny came out that day to give us a quote. He was very knowledgeable and laid out all of our options and his recommendations. He even explained what he was going to do to make sure we had a clear understanding of the process. We decided on 2 new AC units and heat pump which works wonders now. Our electric bills are lower and now we don't have to wear 3 layers of clothes inside our house anymore! To help with the energy efficiency of our house, we called Kenny and his team again to insulate our attic just this month. The existing insulation in the attic was paper thin and covered with plywood. They came in, pulled up the plywood, blew in the insulation up to standard, and built a catwalk up there so we could still use it for storage. I am looking forward to seeing how much we'll save this winter with everything we've done so far. KT Sterling Mechanical is a top notch, honest and hard working group of professionals. I happened to run into Kenny and after talking to him a while, asked if he did Insulation services. He said yes (which surprised me a bit). He immediately asked if I wanted an estimate. I said yes and he came over that day to take a look at my attic. His price was very fair (I did some quick research on my own). I accepted his offer and we scheduled the job within a week. His team showed up on time and got right to work. They were all very professional and friendly. During the process, I noticed the attic ladder/door was very unstable and told Kennys crew to be careful because I knew it needed replaced. My mother's 24 year old unit recently died a few days before Christmas 2020. My brother who lives in Texas contacted K T Sterling Mechanical, Inc. on a Sunday, just looking on the internet, for help. They sent George out to her home within an hour to see if it could be repaired. George worked on the unit but was unable to get it to run. He explained the parts needed to get it running but there was no guarantee as to how long a 24 yo unit was going to last even after the repairs. We agreed to get an estimate for replacing the unit. Want to give a huge shout out to K T Sterling and his employees for doing a stand up job on installing the 4 head Mitsubishi mini split heat/a.c. unit. I had it installed during the peak of the summer and the a.c. kept my house as cool as I wanted it. Have also used it during those few cold nights and the heat def will put u out of the house if u wanted it that warm. The best part was the customer service provided by this company. I asked Kenny what I needed to do to prepare before installing. He told me to "live my life like normal....we will take care of the rest". So I did just that. Not only did he move all the furniture needed, vacuumed after installing, and put furniture back. But he also removed the old system, removed the old heating unit stand, and built a new stand and concreted it in. The best part is that the price demolished all other places. So if you are looking for a new heating and air system, definitely call them. They won't let you down. read more

When our A/C unit stopped working in the heat of summer, we struggled to find someone to come out and perform the repair quickly. That is until we called KT Sterling! They were able to come out same day and fix our unit in less than an hour! It was the day before the 4th of July and the owner had given his team the day off.
