Rich maple flavour that really made its point. However, the burger was over cooked although my guess is that they do not grind their beef on site so can't cook their meet any less then well done. Regretfully, this led to a pretty dry burger. For $14 burger I expected better, although great touch with the hand-cut, although slightly cold, fries. . Score 6/10 . My first visit to Bailey's and I will be honest front and centre - worst possible night as they were hosting a great painting event with a 40 excited participants. Service was attentive at first, however, once the staff started to focus on drinks etc for the event we were forgotten. My dining companions finished their drinks during our garlic bread with cheese appetizer and we were never given a chance to ask for a water or other beverage. We quickly ate and scurried back to the car seeking desert elsewhere. However, will give them the benefit of the doubt tonight and head back for a second chance. Over all, average quality food, although prices were on the high side.

There are many tables in a rustic wood style motif that is not overdone. Being attached to the arena I expected that the meals would be very plain and kid focused. I have been happily surprised that the meals are not. This is an adult dining restaurant that also takes care of the kids very well. There are usually 3-4 families dining in the restaurant whenever we have gone. Not too busy and the food is served in a quick manner. On the menu there are a LOT of different things. Roast beef dinners, chicken strips, fish dinners, etc. There are so many options and I have had several different things, all of them have been delicious. The fries are great, the beef gravy is excellent, the portions are generous with everything that is ordered. The kids meals are excellent and come with ice cream or a cookie. I have never had something that I did not enjoy here. Prices are fair, $10-20 per adult entrée depending on what you get. We have gone to Baileys for dinner when we have no reason to be at the arena. We will be back, we enjoy it and recommend it to others.

It's our first time here at Tian Ya BBQ which is a decent Korean-style AYCE BBQ restaurant in Barrie. We usually go to ones in Markham and/or North York. Their fried spring rolls and scallops (4/5) were delicious with a good crisp on the outside, giving you a crunch with every bite. The spring rolls could use some more filling. The Volcano Roll was enjoyable (3.5/5). We liked how they had fried batter on the outside to elevate the texture of the dish. The cream cheese was a delight. The portions were big. The actual Korean-style BBQ was okay (3/5). The kimchi was a bit salty for us. We were hoping it would have more of the tangy, fermented taste to it as well. We liked that it was crunchy and tasted fresh. Their lettuce was also fresh. They did use iceberg lettuce instead of romaine which was different from what we regularly have at other places. We had pork, beef, beef short ribs and squid for grilling. Both the pork and beef were thinly sliced and tender. The beef short ribs were marinated well. Maybe a bit more sesame oil, garlic and ginger to the marinade mixture would really help bring out the sweetness and the umami of the meat. The cuts were okay; the meats could have been balanced with some fat/marbling to keep them juicy. We were also looking to have some ssamjang (fermented soybean paste) and sesame oil with salt to go with the meat. Overall, an okay place to go for AYCE Korean BBQ in Barrie.
