Or perhaps you dont want to serve anyone that asks for what they want. I just had a pedicure and manicure a week and a half ago and didnt need another one. Even if that weren't the case; if a customer states they dont want their cuticles cut, then dont cut them. I've been giving my toes a break from the polish as its not good for the nails to constantly put polish on them. I just wanted polish on toes and shellac on my nails without cuticle clipping. When it was time to pick my color, the nail tech threw the color swatch on the table. No worries. Once my nails were done he didnt offer lotion or oil. He also didnt suggest to wash my hands so I did it anyway. He then hurried me to the pedicure station. Glad its over. Paid and even tipped, but not my usual tip. Wont return.

Plus, they are friendly and kind. Everyone is welcome at this nail shop! No matter where I go, people ask who does my nails. The expertise of those working at Nail Design is superior. In fact, I have been coming here at least twice a month for more than twenty years. In recent years, my ten year old daughter accompanies me. She, too, is hooked on the stellar service and innovative design skills. The salon itself is comfortable and plush. Each chair has massage functions, plus an option for heat and reclining. While there is no option for appointments, the wait time at Nail Designs is always minimal. I love the ability to pop in Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm and leave with perfect fingers and toes! The staff members have never failed to accommodate both my requests for gel or dip and my schedule! Their prices, too, are reasonable and fair. I would be remiss in not mentioning that the waxing is also superior here. My eyebrows have never looked better! You'd be missing out on exemplary service and style if you skip a visit to Nail Design!

((Btw if you noticed, she only has 1 review which is a complaint, so, that's unfortunate that she felt obligated to spew and defame.)) I have multiple reviews and I have been to Star Nails many times in the past couple of years of living here. So please hear me out: This place is wonderful for basic services and I have never been disappointed. Of course you should pay attention to what the technician is doing to make sure it's according to your preference, as they are not mind-readers, but I have never had a negative experience or had anyone argue with me or give me less than stellar or standard service. In fact, I have been to another salon in town and was less impressed with their level of service compared to their prices. I feel that Star Nails is more thorough and willing to accommodate and I have had very pleasant conversations with their staff; this was both before and definitely after the change in management. Long story short, I have been very pleased with the service I've received here over the years and am happy to see it run well under new management. Their prices are (pretty) fair (inflation is not their fault) and they do a terrific job. They have great massage chairs, relaxing music, or TV if you want to watch. It's unfortunate that someone had a bad day and went online to badmouth this place but I make it my goal to set the record straight and not let small businesses suffer because of Karens. These owners work hard and they offer quality services. If you receive less than such, speak up, and they will make it right, (although I have never had to!)

She starts filling my nails down with her little machine operated file. Once they are paper thin, she moves to the cuticles. Once I am covered in all my nail shavings that flew up from the electric file, she begins painting. Awesome. She used a rough $1 hard nail file to rub my fingers after she was done dipping them in clear dip? 9 times, then painting polish over the top???
