I went back 5 days later because I had not heard anything from the owner. The store was closed when I went by. I caught it open a few days later and was told more chain had to be ordered so my bracelet would be ready as soon as a the new shipment of chain arrived and I would get a phone call. A week later I received a text saying my bracelet was ready for pick up and the store was open until 7pm. Unable to make it there that day I stopped by the next day and the store was closed. I stopped by 3 other days and the store was also closed. I called and texted the owner and never received any correspondence back. When I finally stopped by and the store was open, I picked up my bracelet. This was about 25 days after first dropping it off. The quality was fine. The safety chain was a little tight because we never measured my hand but it was done and I finally had my bracelet. Then I asked if I would get a discount because he held my bracelet hostage for so long. He became very angry with me and told me to get out of his store and never come back. So I did but not before I promised him I would let as many people as possible know what terrible customer service he had. Do not go to this store. The quality was fine but don't questions work ethic, or lack there of, or you might hurt his feelings and he will tell you not to step foot in his store again. And that's is fine by me!!

I've been buying and selling vintage jewelry for years and recently started building my own eBay…read morestore. As I began purchasing jewelry in bulk, I quickly realized that many pieces contained real gold and silver. I would save my findings and take them to different gold buyers around town. After visiting numerous locations, TJ's Jewelry & Loan is the one place I keep coming back to. Looking back, it honestly makes me sad that I spent so much time selling elsewhere. As someone who was still learning the business, I didn't always know what my items were worth, and unfortunately not every buyer treated me fairly. TJ's has been completely different. They stay on top of the daily gold and silver markets and pay based on current values, not outdated prices from weeks ago. They take the time to carefully evaluate everything, explain the process, and answer questions without making you feel rushed. What stands out most is their consistency. Whether I've brought in a few pieces or a large amount of jewelry, they've always treated me with respect and made sure I received a fair offer. In my experience, they regularly pay around 90% of melt value, which is far better than what I've found elsewhere, and there have even been times when I felt they paid me virtually full value. As someone who has sold jewelry at many different locations, I can confidently say this is the place I trust most. If you're selling gold, silver, or jewelry and want honest evaluations, fair pricing, and professional service, I highly recommend TJ's. They've earned my business for life.

I am trying to have a cross necklace recreated that my mother gave me when I was a teenager in…read more1985. It was made by The Gold Factory, and I believe it was 18 karat gold. It was beautiful! I am hoping that because this was one of your pieces, someone at the company may recognize the design or perhaps have records or photographs of it. The most distinctive feature of the cross was its surface. It was not smooth or flat. The entire face of the cross was made up of many small, raised, three dimensional square pieces in two rows on both the diagonal and horizontal. They looked almost like tiny square individual blocks fitted together across the surface of the cross. I remember being able to see and feel each individual raised square. The squares were not simply an engraved pattern. They were actually raised from the surface and gave the cross a wonderful dimensional, almost architectural texture. I have been calling it a "tiny square cross" because that is the closest description I can come up with. My mother gave me this cross when for graduation, and she passed away in 2021, so the loss of the necklace has become particularly meaningful to me. I would very much like to have the original piece recreated as faithfully as possible, rather than simply purchasing a similar cross. If anyone at The Gold Factory remembers this design, knows what the technique or style was called, or has access to old catalogs, photographs, production records, or design archives from that period, I would be incredibly grateful for any help identifying it. If the original design can be located, I would also love to know whether your craftsmen could reproduce it in 18 karat gold. I realize this is a very old piece, but because it was made by your company, I am hoping there might be someone there who recognizes it. It would mean a great deal to me to be able to have my mother's gift recreated. i will email this as well.
