This place is delish! I ordered on a whim through DoorDash not knowing anything about this place. I ordered the BulgogiPop bowl with a Thai tea. Everything was very good! The bulgogi was seasoned perfectly. The kimchi gave the bowl a nice kick of spice. Thankfully the Thai tea was there to calm the heat down..lol. The bowl also included rice and noodles and one fried dumpling. I would definitely order from them again when in town. They need to come to the Orlando area. This is one bowl type restaurant that I would frequent often!

Spicy pork dish, white rice is under all this yumminess!

Immediately greeted by friendly staff! Order up front as you walk in then take a seat. Plenty of booths and tables to choose from. This establishment is VERY clean and nicely decorated. Pop music plays. Kimchi Fries lit my mouth up in a good way. (it was actually the kimchi on top of the fries that contained the heat) I could have definitely made a meal out of these! Smothered in Bulgogi and kimchi plus a spicy sauce. The fries did not get soggy, even with all that stuff on top of it! Clear chicken soup is delicious with perfect flavor level. Chicken teriyaki-large pieces of great tasting boneless chicken! Spicy Pork dish was so good and one of my favorite dishes. White rice on bottom with pork, salad, and noodles on top. It had a great tasting spice (low heat but noticeable). Next time ill ask for more heat. I like my nose running and eyes watering type heat when I eat Korean! The kimchi was nice and full Korean hot/spicy! absolutely loved it!. (served cold)

Went a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of room for us 4. I ordered the kimchi pancake and the regular ramen corn dog. DELICIOUS! Also so nice they give you a miso soup as your appetizer before they bring what you ordered.

Oh my goshhhhh yummmm!!!!! Everything about this place is delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful answering questions about the menu. The atmosphere was fun and friendly and they had a kids movie on in the back where my little ones were able to enjoy it. I literally dream of my next trip for a hot Cheeto Korean Corn Dog!

I drive 2hrs to come here because I love their food! Amazing service every time I've came here, and enjoy how quite it is and the scenery. I love the Korean corn dogs and their bulgogi bowl. 10/10!

We went for lunch on a Saturday and unfortunately, the lunch special was only available during the week. As a self-service restaurant, you order at the front counter, grab a number and cups for self-serve drinks, then find a seat. There's plenty of seating, which is a plus. I had the chicken bop with a soda, my wife ordered the beef bulgogi bop with water, and my son got a corn dog with hot Cheetos and a strawberry boba. We also ordered kimchi. Complimentary soups were provided. The total came to about $50 before tax and tip. The food arrived about 10-15 minutes after we sat down. The bops were just okay, nothing special. The kimchi was not good; my wife preferred the store-bought Jongga brand. My son had to wait in line again for ice cream, which took a while. The bench seating isn't very comfortable, especially for a longer stay.

So I didn't go into the actual restaurant, but the food truck came to my job. It was delicious. I got the chicken teriyaki bowl. It was very flavorful. My only takeaway is I wish the chicken was cut up a little more, it was huge pieces of chicken breast. But the service was great. I will Go inside the restaurant to get full experience

Parking: Plenty of parking it's located in a Publix plaza. Food: The food was good, the flavour is there I think I was just a little disappointed in the amount of meat that came with the bibimbap. There was barely any meat for the amount of rice and veggies you get. Service: You order your food at the counter and they give you a number, you seat yourself.

Absolutely loved the food! My kids had not had good Korean food although my wife and I love it(mainly a date night thing). They loved it. My daughter got the Korean corn dog since she is less adventurous. I got the KFC Bop and my son got the bulgogi bop and loved it. Portions are large so there is plenty to bring home. It was a bit crowded at the entrance since you order right as you walk in but that was my only complaint. We will be back.

As a first timer here my experience here was very underwhelming and disappointing.. I thought this was a sit down restaurant kind of thing but you order at the front then sit down. I ordered the takoyaki and I was so sad.. it was missing flavors and the bonito flakes that are normally on it. And the bulgogi bap.. has no flavor either, the japchae is very oily, and bulgogi meat is dry- The only good thing was the French fry's and that was it. For a place that's mainly Korean food I'd expect some kind of standard but ig not. This place is just a cash grab place. Easy to say I don't come back

Gave this place a second chance and shoot should have known better than to give it a second chance if it fail the first time what made it seem like they could improve. Here's what we tried: Cheetos corn dog - 8/10 Seaweed salad - 8/10 Thai tea - 3/10 Chicken Katsu bop - 5/10 KFC bop - 4/10 The bop bowls were okay and tolerable but the noodles were too greasy and some of the Katsu chicken were tough like leather . The Thai tea tastes like regular tea with added milk the boba pearls were eh okay. The seaweed salad was good, just didn't expect some veggies at the bottom of it. The corn dog was okay good and cheesy but I'm not biting chunks of cheese before I can get to the dog. This place is tolerable but I'll most definitely stay away from the bop and Thai tea from now on if I was to come back. The service was great, friendly. The atmosphere was cute and alright just need napkins in each tables and chopsticks on stand by.

They have the best Korean corn dogs here along with the other items we got and they service was amazing.

I was so happy with my eating experience at K-Bop Korean Kitchen that it didn't bother me in the least to lose one of the my crowns while enjoying my excellent meal! Yes I had to visit the dentist, but all was good and well as it was put right back in place the next day! Well, in fairness to K-Bop, it wasn't the superb Korean cuisine that caused me to pop out. It's just been there for about eight years or so - time expired! My friend and I just got curious about this shop on the plaza here and were instantly treated with super service and courtesy by the host. He took time to answer every question and what to suggest for our meals. K-Bop is a nicely laid out restaurant. There is ample seating of a couple of varieties but I liked the booth the best. The art on the walls isn't overly done, but with a clean store, seating nicely set apart from each other and a picture here and there, it all makes for a very enjoyable eating experience. I had the lunch version of the chicken teriyaki bowl. Its size is deceptive in the photos. In fact, it's so large it gave me two meals! The chicken was tender and well-seasoned. I enjoyed every minute of eating it! Even without my crown! It came with a nice cabbage salad and rice noodles. I'd order it again anytime. My friend had the katsu bop. That's chicken katsu - and it was similar to the chicken teriyaki. It came with rice noodles and the cabbage salad as well. It made for a terrific eating experience, one that I highly recommend my fellow Yelpers try! I will say the boba beverages were excellent. I had the matcha boba tea - this one was in milk. It was supremely good! As was my friend's too. She had the milky taro boba. For her, it was made superbly - with enough to take home too! Recommend: HIGH (the shop had a lot going for it!

The side dishes were very flavorful, and I also purchased two drinks that were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided good customer service throughout my visit. The only thing is that they told me that they do not clean tripe in Korea which was hard to believe. I do want to share a concern regarding the preparation of the tripe soup. After beginning the meal, I noticed that the tripe did not appear to have been cleaned. At first, I wondered if this was simply the restaurant's style of preparation, but after researching further, I learned that improperly cleaned tripe can be both unpleasant and potentially unsafe to consume because tripe comes from the stomach lining of the animal. Uncleaned tripe may still contain food residue, digestive material, parasites, worms, bacteria, and strong bile or waste odors. This can potentially lead to issues such as foul smell, unpleasant taste, food poisoning, bacterial contamination including E. coli or Salmonella, and symptoms such as stomach cramps, vomiting, or diarrhea. Proper cleaning is generally considered an essential part of preparing tripe, especially in professional restaurants where customers would quickly notice if the cleaning process was incomplete. Overall, I appreciated the kindness of the staff, the quality of the drinks, and the excellent side dishes. I am only sharing my personal experience and concern specifically regarding the preparation of the tripe soup.

We ordered the squid stir fry and pork ribs, and the flavors were great, but there were some differences in the dishes. Squid stir fry: This dish was incredible--definitely the best in Jacksonville. The squid was tender and perfectly cooked, not chewy at all. The stir fry had an amazing balance of spices, and there were no fillers like rice cakes or too many vegetables drowning out the squid's flavor. The dish was packed with flavor, and each bite was a combination of savory, spicy, and a slight sweetness that complemented the seafood perfectly. It was the standout dish of the meal and one I'll definitely be coming back for. Pork ribs: While the ribs were tender, they were too sweet for my liking, and the flavor felt a bit one-dimensional. The sauce was heavy on the sweetness, which made the ribs feel a little cloying after a while. They could benefit from a bit more balance with some acidity or spice. In terms of portions, Kim's Korean BBQ is generous. The rice comes in a half bowl, so you'll need to order more if you're craving extra, and the Bonchon (fried chicken) is only available with a full meal or as an additional charge, which is something to keep in mind. The prices are on the pricier side, especially when compared to other Korean places in town, but the taste and authenticity make it worth it. The owners are Korean and will speak to you in Korean if you're comfortable with the language. The staffing was a little overwhelmed, as the lady owner seemed to be doing most of the work, and at one point, you could hear her directing her husband at the register to assist with various tasks. This led to a bit of a longer wait for the food, but it was understandable given that they were a bit understaffed. One thing I really appreciated was the cleanliness of the place. Kim's is one of the cleaner Korean restaurants in the area, which is always a plus. Despite the staffing hiccups and the slightly sweet pork ribs, the overall experience was great. I'll definitely be coming back for that squid stir fry and to try more of their authentic dishes!

Whenever I leaned toward a 4, I found…read morethat I needed to leave out my feelings about fighting with the food I eat, which is difficult for me! But that's on me, not the restaurant. And the food, of which this is a hot pot cook and serve yourself full service restaurant has to be considered in my scoring and graded on that. Now, speaking of service, it was outstanding from the door greeter, our server, and having an opportunity to speak with the manager, I will say that the courtesy and attention to detail was evident throughout the eating cooking and eating experience. It has been a few years since I had eaten in this type of restaurant, and being it was my birthday, I kind of said "Oh no!" To myself as I knew what I was in for. But with the psychological game I was playing inside my head, I instantly made a shift and determined to make it a fun and enjoyable experience. It worked! Except my dearest was having difficulty chewing the meat. But again this was not due to the quality of the meats we chose, it was something else. But the food was very good. I loved the appetizers that came with our dinner at the start. I'm scared to eat kimchi because it's often fire on my tongue! But not this time - there was a little heat in most of the appetizers, but nothing that I couldn't handle. It's good to see the restaurant holding back some of the heat to help those who desire less burn from the taste. Now the meats we had all cooked well and timely in the pot. They did sneak a little Mexican in the meat choices with the pollo (chicken) asado! They had al pastor as well, and thought I had ordered it, but it didn't show up. Now, I would say on the pollo asado offering that I felt the spicing was a little too heavy. It was good and I do miss Mexican cuisine from my years in San Diego. We also had pork belly, which I didn't try because I don't eat pork, but it was a good looking option for those who do like it. Now I will say that I did really like the beef bulgogi - was nicely marinated and pretty tender and not overly chewy. Now, I will say that there were only two of us, but I think we would have fared better being in a group of four or more. I will say that the large padded seating booths are pretty awesome! We needed a lot of room to set all the appetizers and choices we made. I also wish I had gotten to try the carne asada and al pastor. But that's for another day :D I do love the ambiance of Gen Korean BBQ. It's modern in appearance. The spacing is good and it's very well-managed and the care in cleanliness is highly visible. It wasn't a busy time when we visited Gen, but we got to see others enjoying their meals here - and most clearly were large groups that seemed to know the drill better that we did at this type of restaurant. With Gen being in Town Center, I have to finally say that the price of the meal was very reasonable, especially when you have a complete menu to choose many items from. It was impressive. If you like Korean BBQ and restaurants of this type, you owe it to yourself to make a visit (and try to get a small group together to go with you)! Recommend: HIGH

The food was ready faster than the 15 minutes quoted, which was great. I enjoyed the bulgogi. It was tender and had good flavor. The pickled veggies and kimchi were the most flavorful sides. I also liked the japchae. The dumpling was too greasy, as evidenced by the grease in the wrapper and the egg and rice didn't have much flavor. The egg needed salt. I really wanted - and should've ordered - the Korean hot dog...next time. This place has great customer service and packaging.
