First time here and it won't stop there! Not only is the place super cute and welcoming, the staff is extremely helpful, kind, and attentive! We ordered the Beef Kimbap (non-spicy) and the LOR Kimbap (was so hungry and so good I don't have the best picture). The sizes of the rolls are huge and filled with flavor! Took a sneak peak of the table next to us where the Bibimbap was ordered. The bowl was giant and packed, probably the next thing I'll be trying next time I visit! read more

Came back still good service however it was a forty minute wait. I think for one think that's a little long but I walked out to go get some milk tea and walk around then came back. It was hot outside but there was a fan circulating air inside. There were many people waiting but I think there was just a hold up. I tried the triangle this time and it was pretty good. read more

Been wanting to try this place ever since it opened! I love kimbap and onigiri. I ordered on the kiosk and everything came out within 10 minutes. The kimbap rolls are huge, I really loved the wasabi mayo sauce it came with. Usually I don't like wasabi but the flavor was subtle and really good with the roll. The fried shrimp onigiri/triangle was well flavored too. Friendly service, the lady working the counter was so cute. Smaller restaurant with limited seating. read more

Cute new little shop that just opened in June 2023. It used to be Brother's Kitchen. Located same plaza as Sports Basement. ORDERING: Walk in and to ur left there is a nice little kiosk. Order on ur own whether its eat in or take out. My son and I ordered a few triangle Onigiri. 2 was enough for me, my teen son got 3. All onigiri will be wrapped like it is to go whether u eat there or not. We didn't try the kimbop yet but will next time. Kimbop was a bit pricey compare to Sodam and other places. FOOD: The Onigiri tasted great. Seaweed was crunchy and ingredients were good. Just make sure u r following the steps when u peel that wrap off in order to keep the seaweed intact with ur rice! Takes some skills and practice to get it right so u won't make a mess. CONVENIENT: This is a great place to pickup quick lunch to go for kids sports. Eat in the car on the way. Or pickup to go for a picnic. Great snack or lunch. I love knowing there is that option. U can even sneak in some to the movie theatre at the LOT haha. Not a bad idea, eh? Make a trip here and give this place a try. It's really great. Please support local small business around our town and help out our economy. read more

K-BOB is a unique small shop with a very clean interior, a really cute outside dining area. The staff are polite, friendly, and hardworking. Love everything I've tried so far. There are many type of nori wrapped items to choose from, and a good balance of nutritious fresh ingredients. I love that there are vegan options too. I really enjoyed the vegetable kimbap read more

Great spot for a meal on the go! It's located next to a Sports Basement with a very large parking lot. There were plenty of spaces available on a Monday evening. I arrived about an hour from closing, and there were only a couple other people there. The inside is small and clean. There are a few tables inside and there are also some tables set up outside. You can order at the counter and by using the touch screen kiosk. The woman at the front was really friendly and sweet! The menu has kimbap, rice bowl dishes, rice triangles, amd yubu tofu pockets. I ordered vegetable kimbap to-go. She let me know that it would take about 10 minutes, but I think it was faster than that, so I give them points for efficient service. The veggie kimbap was packed! It tasted both sweet and savory. Despite being just veggies and tofu inside, it was a filling meal. I would definitely come here again for a quick and fairly healthy meal! read more

What a delightful place to grab a quick meal. And they let me bring my own container for takeout!! I thought upwards of $10 might be a little expensive for kimbap....then I saw the rolls. They are jaw-unhingeingly massive, and more than enough for a meal. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and assembled with care. I got the vegetarian roll and found it to be too "crunchy" for my tastes, so next time I'll go for a generously portioned meaty roll! read more

New Year, new food! Today, we tried K-BOB in San Ramon. It was very good. We shared two of the "over rice" bowls. We will definitely be back to try more of their offerings! #1 was Bibim Bob, which had beef, egg, mushroom, carrot, radish, zucchini, bean sprouts, seaweed salad, spicy sauce. So yummy! #2 was Fish Over Rice, which had assorted fish, seaweed salad, carrot, cucumber, purple/green cabbage, radish, spring mix, lettuce, quail egg, tobico. Good, but not as savory as #1. read more

Stopped by to get my kimbap fix after a nice run and was greeted by the nicest lady . Since this was my second time here, I asked what she recommended and she recommended the crunchy and the LOR (lord of the roll). I ordered the LOR for myself and the original for the bf. I was also intrigued by the yubu, which is stuffed fried tofu so I had to try one of those too. The LOR was delicious! The yubu too. The original was good but not as good as the LOR. Definitely will be back to get my kimbap fix. There's plenty of parking and outdoor seating so come check it out. read more

If you are ever in town and just want something quick and delicious, then come here! I usually love to eat kimbap or anything that is hand held whenever I have a busy schedule so this place is perfect for that. Parking is easy since it's in this mini plaza with lots of parking. You order at a kiosk and then wait outside if you are picking up. If not, there are a few tables inside of the restaurant. I ordered their onigiris which are probably my favorite. They are around $5.50 and they load it up pretty well. The seaweed is separate from the rice which I was happy about because the seaweed did not get soggy. I also ordered their philly kimbap which was also very filling. They do not hold back on loading up their rolls which I appreciate very much. I will definitely be coming back and honestly might even become a regular here. read more

Korean food restaurant that is known for their authentic Korean dishes with unique flavors and textures. I was intrigued by their triangle rice rolls that feature crispy seaweed paper wrapped around a filling of fluffy rice and savory ingredients. They are known for their yubu which are fried tofu pockets filled with savory ingredients like ground meat, vegetables, and rice. This restaurant takes it to the next level by creating fancy shapes and topping it with fresh salmon, avocado and other colorful ingredients. Not only are they visually stunning, but super colorful! The restaurant is pretty small with only a few tables inside but there are also tables outside. Highly recommend this place! read more

I was looking for a quick snack after walking my dog in San Ramon and found this cute little Korean owned business. I ordered on a kiosk and waited outside; when my order was ready a sweet lady came out to me and handed me my order. I got 1 caterpillar yubu which tasted like a California roll in a tofu pocket, and 2 of the salmon Yubu. I also ordered the original k-Bob (kimbap) that I ate the next day for lunch. We tried out several of his recommendations as well as some things I just wanted to try; we got the Lord of the Rolls, a poke bowl, two veggie yubu, and a tuna mayo triangle. Everything tasted so fresh and was absolutely delicious, and even my picky daughter ate quite a bit. Will definitely be back! read more

WOW! I think I just found my new favorite kimbap place in the bay area! This hidden gem surpassed all my expectations with its impressive quality and presentation. The vegetables they use (especially the avocado) taste extremely fresh and left my taste buds happy. The sweet and soft yubu skin and the tender and flavorful beef were very satisfying to say the least. The poke fish quality was goof too (not anything to write home about, but still adequate). Nothing felt too oily/greasy and I loved the sprinkle of sesame seeds they topped the kimbap with. Something else I was very pleased with were the prices! $17 for a poke bowl AND it comes with a complimentary miso soup! $16 for their Bibim Bob bowl which at other korean places would cost $20 and up! The service was very quick for the amount of food my family ordered and all of the workers were very helpful in navigating the menu. The location is convenient as it is right across the street from the San Ramon Marketplace. There is a lot of parking as well. I highly recommend checking out this new establishment in the East Bay for some authentic korean kimbap and other specialties! read more

We accidentally discovered this place while visiting the San Ramon sports basement. Originally we thought it was a kebab restaurant, but pleasantly realized it was a Korean restaurant. So definitely popped in to try it today. We were in a hurry so ordered a few triangles to go. These are about double the size of an onigiri from a combini in japan... so it had good heft. Best part was that the filling was evenly distributed in the onigiri instead of mainly rice and a little topping in the middle. We ordered 4 triangles... tuna & mayo, spicy tuna, Korean beef and crab & shrimp tempura. All were really good! Price was about $5.5 a ball, but two was the perfect size of lunch for me. They have way more on their menu than just triangles obviously. We look forward to going to back again soon. read more

This is the best Kimbap (on the pricy side though) I have ever had in trivalley. It's very freshly made, and the crunchy vegetables go really well with the tasty beef. The triangler is tasty too. The spicy beef taste is rich and is soaked into the rice. I'm very happy with the food! read more

Very strong. This is mostly a takeout shop that makes really good Kim bap. We tried the regular, tuna and beef ones. Tuna was hands down the favorite and the regular was good too. I was a little unimpressed by the beef because I feel that it should be a premium given the upcharge and it was less tasty than the other two. Having spent a lot of time in Korea and spending about five bucks a roll I was a little bit sticker shocked to pay 15 plus dollars per roll. But the quality was very good and the portion size was large - Plus somehow you have to make those Bay Area rents so I get it. We also tried the fish over rice and the bibimbap. Both were good but not sure I'd get them again because there was not enough rice and too much of the salad. Usually I have the opposite problem. Notes, that I am referring to salad and not veggies. Never enough veggies. But there was just too much of the salad style stuff like the radish and the added lettuce too, which seemed a little odd for the bibimbap. Anyway, all in all it's pretty solid although I do miss getting my black bean noodles at brother's kitchen. They took over the location (or perhaps did a reconcept?) read more

I'm obsessed with this place. I come here so often! It's so convenient! You can order online or phone or in person on a kiosk and pick up and eat outside on the shaded seating area or take it home. The rolls are always made fresh to order and I love that it's not filled with rice as the main ingredient. The wasabi dipping sauce is delicious too. The nice lady working there is so sweet. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet. My go to is the beef kimbap and spicy beef kimbap. I've also tried the one with raw fish and it's also very fresh every time we've ordered. I wanted a light lunch and got a filling platter of kimbop! We are always looking for fantastic Asian food around the Tri Valley. The veggies are fresh, crispy and are refreshing. The wasabi kewpie mayo sauce is light and flavorful, but not too spicy. Spicy beef seasoning was on point. Also got a spam & egg triangle; The seaweed was so surprising crispy. The rice seasoning within the triangle was seasoned with furikake. Great flavor- I didn't feel like I needed soy sauce with every bite. Service was quick! We ordered using the terminal, but also ordered more food at the front with the host. He was kind and efficient. The only complaint is that the ordering terminal just feels slightly cramped next to cashier. Space and ambiance is cozy inside, but they also have extra seats and picnic tables outside. It felt slightly cramped inside, but the meals were quickly devoured so we didn't have to stay too long. Can't wait to come back and try more on the menu!! read more

Friendly service (my friend and I ordered at the counter instead of the kiosk). The place is small. I think the max seating indoors is 14. Don't worry. They have outdoor seating. I had the Fish Over Rice (Hwe dop bap?) and enjoyed it. It had a good amount of veggies (which I need ) and cubed sashimi. Glad that the gochujang(?) sauce was served on the side. I can't have my food too spicy. So I just added a little bit to taste. I ordered a couple kimbap rolls (beef and LOR) to go. My daughter enjoyed them. The rolls are larger than normal. She couldn't finish one! That was a surprise since she can eat two whole sushi rolls. I deducted one star because the edamame was prepared in advance and refrigerated. I prefer fresh warm edamame. Other than that, the fish over rice and kimbap rolls were freshly prepared. read more

Peter was the employee who helped my friends and I and he did an excellent job in checking how we were doing. The food was excellent. Ordered the Shrimp Triangle Bimbim Bob. We got two yubu: salmon and caterpillar (imitation crab, tobiko, and avocado), beef kimbob, and a spicy tuna triangle to-go. The food was authentic and flavorful. We particularly liked the pickled radish and burdock in the kimbob, the freshness of the fish we got, the texture of the rice, and the kick from the spicy tuna. The only con was a slightly long wait time (~20 mins) for our order; however, this might be due to them just recently opening and still figuring out operations and/or other dinner time orders. Even though it wasn't that big of a problem, they were apologetic about the wait and gave us complimentary edamame which was a kind gesture. We'll definitely be back for more tasty food anyhow! read more
