My general complaint about Walgreen's is that their pharmacies tend to be a lot slower than I'd like. I can't help but think that that is on purpose so that you look around and purchase other products there while you wait. I've sometimes had to wait close to an hour for a medication. That seems unreasonable. I've always found the service helpful and friendly, especially if I'm looking for something I can't find. I like that most Walgreen's, including this one, have Redbox locations where I can pick up a movie.

One of the ladies was a manager ( I knew that since she had previously helped me with my first photo pick up ) 20 mins passed and finally that same manager went towards the photo department looked around and asked me if I was there to pick up my second set of pictures I had placed I told her "yes" Me assuming she was going to assist me I didn't ask her to help me .... she said okay, and left ( I was thinking she was going to go call someone to help me .... no one came ) she went back to chat with the other two ladies down the hall laughing and joking around they were ... once again I waited an other 15 minutes and finally a lady came up to me and asked me if I needed help (not one of the ladies that were down the hall from where I was ). WORST customer service experience ever ! Never have I had an issue like this with Walgreens and that's why I used to love Walgreens over any other store to do some quick errands but now I'm debating to continue giving them business if this is the way they act with their loyal customers !

The pharmacy staff is incompetent and rude. I live 30 miles out of town and when I called my pills in to have ready; it was always a problem and they couldn't get it right. Calling to speak with them, instead of answering the phone they make you wait and pick up the phone and hang it up quickly so they do not have to deal with you. My overall experience at this Walgreens is I would never go back and do business. It seems like a busy store probably understaffed and could care less if you return as a customer. The employees who answer the pharmacy line are completely rude. In all the years I've gone to my old store, I never once had any problem. I made several complaints and the management would give me store credit each time but I won't step in there to buy anything. I'm done dealing with their terrible customer service.

While staying in Minneapolis, I stopped into a close-by Walgreens to get a few items. I have alway seen locations in downtowns and this one was right around the corner from where I was staying. I am always pleased when I am properly greeted when I walk through the door. I am especially happy when a clerk or cashier look up from what they are doing to acknowledge a customer walking through the door. This store, like other Walgreens is big and bright with clean isles to navigate through. This incredibly delightful staff was over the top in greetings. Happy to see a customer. Happy to help a customer. Happy to speak with a customer. I needed a few items ranging from water to shaving cream. They had plenty of items to choose from and I pleased that their house brand is a substantially reduced price and the same item. Check out went very quickly and I received the same cordial greeting as I left as when I came in. The team member behind the counter just personified the model employee of engagement, spreading happiness and loving to be able to help. Kudos to a wonderful team here at Walgreens.
