He wears a men's medium and found a t-shirt on sale rack for $14.99. I found a hoodie on sale also. They had lots of other college items including luggage tags, stickers, pennants, etc. I also found a regular price NDSU t shirt for $20 and some NDSU stickers. There are other colleges there too such as UMD Duluth, Michigan, U of MN and St Cloud State. At check out the tagged t shirt rung up at $22, it was marked $20 and was immediately fixed. Scheels employees usually always say Hi upon entering the store. I wish Scheels would expand more in the Minneapolis St Paul Metro. Eden Prairie seems to far to drive. They also sell my favorite Feetures socks.

I live a few hours outside of St. Cloud. I found this entire interaction to be pretty off-putting and don't appreciate the mixed information and "gate-keeping" of winter sports equipment. I feel like I was treated pretty poorly by these folks. Maybe if I was born in a different zip code I could buy some skis this season, eh? Seems fair.

Nope won't let me buy over the phone, can't guarantee that if I buy online she can pick up. How is this customer service? So then I talk with a 3rd rep, who will hold the SUP Board for my sister to come purchase, great!!!! No wait, gets better. They take mine and my sisters info. I reiterate which board a color. My sister drives down and the sales guy actually admits to her that they picked the wrong item off the floor to save and then knowingly sold the board I had called three people about. But hey Dick, thanks for the phone call! Unbelievable! They must not work for ant commissions, no one wants to sell, or at least try to help out the customer. This is my second fail encounter with dicks on a rather large purchase.

I took a hiatus from hockey but started playing again recently in the Minneapolis area and I've been so frustrated with the feel of my blades. Had 'em sharpened a few times at a different sporting goods store near Mpls and still, no good! I finally thought I'd bring them back here and see what they had to say and not only did they diagnose a CONCAVE rocker and uneven edges, but they explained it all to me and fixed it in a couple of days! No one tried to sell me something I didn't need, which I really appreciate. I got on the ice last night and FINALLY felt good on my trusty old skates once again. Bottom line: I'd absolutely recommend Hockey Zone for anyone who needs help with their gear, brand new or well seasoned. If you have questions just ask these guys - you'll get a whole lesson!

He was very knowledgeable and approachable. 5 stars on price, 5 stars on customer service. Also had a much better selection of knives compared to most gun stores. A lot of places will mark-up really cheap knives but the prices here seemed to be what they should be.
