Sometimes almost too pretty to eat! Ha! A couple of my favorites: The seafood platter (very impressive) and their chicken pot pie. Overall a great experience with Atiki's and their staff. They always seem to be in good spirits. Its obvious they love what they do. Ask for their specials. I've found that their input / opinion goes farther than the menu and they'll fill you in on certain items in season or dish specials for that week. Thanks for making "airplane food" something to look forward to again!

The space itself is…read moreincredibly beautiful and perfect for a wedding, but what put the icing on the cake was the customer service. We worked with two women, Eleni and Lauren. They were exceptional during the planning process. Always answering emails right away and helping us figure out anything and everything. I had only been involved in one wedding beforehand and was totally new to all things planning and they were both always ready to answer questions. One example is when we found our there was an event in the space when we were supposed to have our rehearsal. My mom and I had a quick freak out but their team was able to get us in the 2nd floor to practice and even sneak us upstairs before the event to do a quick run through. When the day came, I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Everything was PERFECT. Sometime during the reception, another woman on the team, Nathanya, took over and she came up to introduce herself and complimented me on the wedding. It made me feel really taken care of. My mom and I developed friendships with our planners and it was a much more personal experience than I expected which made it all the more wonderful. The space is not only beautiful, but the art studios on the 2nd floor make a perfect spot for the cocktail hour. We loved this because no one had to leave the venue at any time! Chowgirls is also the most amazing caterer. I got endless compliments on the food and desserts. I was nervous about having a buffet, but everything came out piping hot, and the staff just dismissed the tables one by one and it went off without a hitch! I would recommend this venue to anyone. It's beautiful and the staff truly cares about making the day special!

What sold me about this place is two things: the view and that I can getaway from the campus feel. I appreciate this place for the effort supporting and buying local ingredients. Also I attend the theme happy hours, special dinner, and just a nice meal for lunch. Food wise this place is great there has not been a thing that I have not like. My favorite thing to get is the lamb burger with french fries. I usually get a dessert as well and those are always yummy. My favorite thing to drink is their specialty drink from their event or the mystery beer which is 2 dollars but their is a high chance of getting an IPA. I am a very happy member.

If membership prices weren't so high, I'd totally get one for myself because the food is always phenomenal. Last time I was there I had a chicken & black bean tostada. It was amazing! Prices are also a little higher than the Coffman basement eateries, but bonus is that you won't get sick off of this wonderful food. Much of their produce is grown by the Agriculture School. Fresh food, wahoo! Their menu changes daily, but you can always count on great sandwiches and a colorful salad bar. Check out their specials on the website, but on occasion they won't be updated.

However, in the months leading up to our big day, I became super unimpressed with them and even to the morning of our wedding, their communication was extremely unprofessional and lacking. Justin was super unresponsive the month leading up to our wedding and blamed "his email being funky all summer" which is a wild excuse as a wedding vendor. I had to reach out a couple times to get confirmation about everything and once he finally got back to us, I asked him to help us put together an estimate and he grossly overestimated how much to buy. We only went through a quarter of what we purchased per his recommendation *on the low end*. He emailed me the day before the wedding and asked to confirm that the venue had a bar and they didn't need to bring one, and I could not believe he waited until 24 hours before go-time to confirm that. Lastly, the bartenders showed up late, to the point where we were formulating a backup plan on how to get soda and planned on having two guests tend bar. Justin ignored all of our attempts to reach out and confirm they were on their way. Once the actual bartenders got there, they did a great job and the night went great, but the entire communication between when we booked to the day before was an absolute disaster. If you want a stress free day, I genuinely would not recommend working with FreePour.

One thing to note, we had purchased multiple bottles of hard liquor with the intention that one kind of each would be opened at a time so we could return what wasn't used. The bartenders opened every single bottle of hard liquor, so now we have bottles of liquor that either weren't used at all or were only used for one drink, and we don't drink every kind that's opened but we can't return them. I'd guess this cost us over $100.

On a friend's suggestion, we made a trip up to the Ideal Hall in St Paul to meet the caterers and try the food. We already had our hall booked but their hall was very nice and I wish we could've got our deposit back and had it at their hall instead, oh well. But the food was very very excellent. We sampled a few different items and settled on a all you can eat taco bar with sides of enchiladas, rice, beans and everything else. I knew both of our families were going to be in heaven at our wedding too. They had the food ready when our guests arrived and kept it coming throughout the evening. That was our plan too, we didn't like having tables called or waiting in long lines so we had placemats on the tables saying go on up and eat. We arrived first so we already ate our meals and we spent the first part of the evening visiting tables and thanking them for coming while they ate. Everyone complimented us on the fantastic food and the excellent DJ. See my other review for Twin Cities Wedding DJs. The way we looked at it if you have those two key elements, food and entertainment, locked down with first class companies you can not go wrong at all. TST Creative Catering was very reasonably priced, the food was cooked to perfection, and just about everyone went up for seconds and thirds. They do other styles of food too and I'm sure that's equally as delicious. But I wish their banquet hall was a restaurant because I could easily drive up there once a week for the food.
