We recently adopted a dog from the shelter and needed help managing his behavior, as well as assisting the adjustment process for our other dog. We contacted Carlos right away and he charged us in full for the sessions, which we were happy to pay. We were charged for the training of two dogs, more for the second dog due to having been considered as "aggressive". The sessions were supposed to be one hour, weekly, per dog, but we were lucky to get one hour of training for both dogs. Most of the sessions were spent going over information, which was mostly irrelevant and did not apply to the situation at hand. The actual training, which was supposed to include an array of over 5 behaviors which would be improved and/or corrected, turned out to be the most expensive sessions for the dogs to learn the commands: "sit", and "down". We paid over $1200 for two dogs which did not learn much, and our sessions were the same length and content had we paid for one dog. Each class contained little to no structure, things that were practiced the week prior were forgotten by the trainer and the dogs were taught through a series of erratic methods that often confused them, as well as confusing us. We had difficulties with scheduling, and in retrospect, feel it was over priced, specially when taking into account that the dogs learned very little. However, I will give them credit for being polite and efficient in cashing the check. read more
