They charged me an "early check in fee" for dropping my dog off at noon, and a "late check out fee" for picking him up at 5pm! Then, because I didn't buy a bath (I had literally bathed him right before dropping him off), they charged me another full night. The front desk woman actually said "if you don't purchase a bath, we charge another nights fee" How is that anything but predatory business practices!? But the part that made me completely lose the trust I had, was that they forgot to feed my dog for an entire day! They tried to claim he was "picking at his food," but the moment he got home, within a few minutes he ate his entire meal with zero hesitation. This place went from reliable to downright unacceptable. I refuse to support a business that nickel and dimes customers while neglecting the basic care of the pets they're paid to look after!

That was a complete lie. When I dropped my dog off there were dozens of dog all being worked on in a very cramped and unclean space. There is mold in the back half of the building and it is very apparent in both the scent and the air vents which are black. In regards to the grooming my dog received, I instructed the groomer to shave her hair short except for her ears. For the most part this was followed except for her head. They left a patch untouched on her head and her whiskers were also not trimmed. I also told them to clip her nails, they got some but not all. This has been my go to Pet store for my do Cookie since I moved to the Rio Grande Valley 3 years ago. Normally I have been treated with care and respect while here. Note that I have been going to this store since I lived here so this is not a one time exposure. I have had more bad customer service in Grooming and don't have much exposure to the rest of the store. I have contacted the manager before with no response and no action taken but this department well....has given me a black eye more than once. Yesterday was the worst & the last straw for me, Customer Lost. I had a 10 am appt made that morning around 9 am. I forgot I had a Dr. appt at 11 am. So in a hurry, I dropped off my dog at 9:30am which I had never done before. The store was open, grooming of course was open but when I entered no one was front. I called and called out to no response for over 5 min. so I went thru the gate and saw an older lady in the back with the door closed with ear protection on . She was in a panic probably from me and that I entered her space. I said I don't want you to do anything but take my dog..she has an appt 10am. When I picked up my dog a young lady addressed me and in a very rude manner read me the rules for entering as I did. She would not stop for anything. So I say to you....don't open grooming earlier than the store or make your groomers stay out front at all times. Also you might mention when you make an early apt to state that pets will not be accepted before their appt time.
