I was delivering a brand new Toyota Sienna from Colorado to California and I accidentally scratched the driver's side (about 8-10 scratches). Since the condition of the vehicle is my personal responsibility, you can imagine how upset and worried I was. Clay is simply a magician. All scratches 100% removed. It's as if they never existed. I had a coffee spill in just the driver side front section and not under the seat as my car has a 2 inch ridge to catch stuff like that. The shop I took it to took 15 minutes max including check in. It was extraction and then combed through for crumbs and then washed. So of course I tipped well for the $35 cost.

Why they'd drive with such disregard for public safety with their company name and phone number emblazoned on their truck is beyond me. And since they're that careless on the highway, I'm sure I'd never let them touch my vehicle. I was driving in the center lane of the northbound I-215 belt route when the Johnstone Detailing truck came up behind me fast in the right lane. A car in that lane was slightly ahead and going slower than me when the Johnstone truck almost rear-ended them and nearly hit me when they swerved left across all three lanes. Their brake lights never came on. Then, the truck driver accelerated even faster and started weaving in and out of other traffic before turning onto I-80 eastbound. (See photos and bear in mind the wide-angle lens of the dashcam makes the truck seem further away than it was.) The experience left me a bit rattled and angry that anyone would needlessly jeopardize my safety and the well-being of other citizens on the road. With all the different options for auto detailing in Summit, Heber, and Salt Lake Counties, I recommend you try any of those before risking your vehicle at Johnstone Detailing. If they're as careless with your car as they are when they're driving, you can do much better. Well, at 5:22 pm they finally arrived and needless to say I was not happy and at this point was not going to give them any money. No text or call was given to me to even mention they would be late. I spoke to the guy who was to clean my car and was told his partner had to leave and he was now on his own. So what, since it would take 2 guys 2 hours would it now take one guy 4 hours? Really, you were going to be here until 9:30pm?? The guy offered to come back the next day and I declined because how am I now to trust they would even show up?? Shortly after this phone conversation I received a text, not even a phone call from the owner apologizing. Really cant even make a phone call. I will never use this business and I certainly hope others have better luck with them than I did. If there was an option for zero stars I would have selected that.....
