Veggie patty after I ate the bun

The service was terrible. I have a lot of food sensitivity and typically I order off the kids meal because they are simpler dishes and I tried to order a cheese pizza and was denied because I wasn't younger than 12. Only place I have ever been to that sticks to that rule, but I then asked what the veggie burger was made out of and she told me it was a black bean patty which would've been perfect, so I order mostly plain, would've just been black beans, bun, and onion, however when it came it was mostly chick peas and quinoa and tomato with a few black beans sprinkled in. Super upsetting the server didn't know and didn't ask if she was unsure. Another person in our party ordered bread as an appetizer and it didn't come out until dinner came out. Not to mention dinner took an hour, which would've been fine if the server communicated the wait was longer than expected but she never came to check on our table. We were waiting on refills and wanted to order more cocktails but she would walk the opposite direction of our table. There was also a hair in on persons drink, although they did remake it it is the initial fact there was a hair is so gross. We had to ask another server to ask our server to come over and give the bill because she literally was non existent and we asked to speak to a manager and when a different server came to help he was so understanding and comped 50% of our tab. It was nice that the other server was understanding of our experience and discounted the meal but the experience especially being a bachelorette party dinner was disappointing to say the least.

Orginally, we made reservations on OpenTable. The menu on OpenTable had a few dishes that interested us. When we arrived at JWB (located in the Margaritaville Hotel,) they were offering a buffet only. This was for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner buffet selection was somewhat limited. There were a few meat options, pasta station, cold salads and desserts. Regular menu was scheduled to return the next week. Beef short ribs were tender. Sauce really permeated into the meat. Sauce on the Tuscan fish would be delicious on pasta. It was creamy, garlicy and herb forward. The fish itself was way overcooked. Roasted vegetables were prepared to maintain some firmness. They had a lovely char to them. Salad bar items were fresh. Desserts were not refilled during our visit. By the time I went to eat dessert, variety was about half of what was in the picture I took. Coffee tarts had a vibrant espresso flavor. Lemon bars were a bit chalky. I chose one with raspberry on top. The fresh raspberry ended up being the sweet item to the tart lemon. There was a time when my husband and I got up at the same time. In the couple of minutes we were gone, they completely cleared our table. I'm talking dishes, silverware and drinks. We hadn't even paid or been presented with the check. A little kink they may want to iron out if they decide to offer the buffet full time.

The JWB Grill was a HUGE surprise and one of the best meals I've had in a long time. My husband and I spent a night at the Margaritaville Resort and after a long day, didn't feel like going off property to look for a place to eat. With very little expectations, we headed to the JWB Grill on site and we were warmly welcomed by the hostess. Our excellent service continued the second we sat down until the second we left the restaurant. Our server went above and beyond, was attentive, and efficient. Aside from the phenomenal service, the food was FANTASTIC. Our order consisted of several appetizers to share (with an expectations of leftovers to take back to the room): - Fried Calamari: Coated and fried perfectly. The dipping sauce was outstanding. Had a little kick, but nothing overpoweringly spicy. - Blue Crab Dip: My favorite from the whole order. Loaded with crab that was the perfect, creamy texture. Came with crispy bread strips that complemented the dip well. - French Onion Soup: The best I've had in a long time. the thick ring of cheese and loads of onions in the flavorful broth were to die for. Picture perfect! - Caesar Salad: Fresh romaine lettuce coated with a nice layer of caesar dressing. - Frozen Strawberry Margarita Everything was phenomenal! We talked about the meal into the next day and beyond. We were expecting a mediocre, overpriced meal at the hotel cafe, but we got something outstanding from the service to the food. We would revisit the JWB Grill in a heartbeat the next time we're in Palm Springs whether we are staying at the Margaritaville Resort or not. Very fortunate to have found this gem!

Im torn writing this review but the service from nighttime to morning is literally that day and night difference. On New Year's Eve the host gentleman lured us in and was very nice and attentive as was the waitress .. the blue crab appetizer was delicious and the steak frites was one of the best cuts I have ever tasted.. juicy and tender with red chimichurri New Year's Day there was no host so we seated ourselves as there were other customers seated.. after a few minutes of being ignored I asked the bartender if I can order food at 10:30 am and he said no Just no .. something about a buffet they were setting up but did not even offer takeout. Was the buffet a private event orrr was it for guests at the hotel.. haha idk basically told us to leave in a room full of people .. it was humiliating. Left hungry and upset and a great memory for the first day of the new year. Got 7-11 pizza from across the street for breakfast.. crazy right

Terrible crispy chicken sandwich

Food was no good. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which tasted old and stale. They use the same fry oil to fry their fish, my chicken had a fish after taste. The food was overpriced and terrible.

The burger and salad were delicious Service friendly and keen to help. We sat outside, there was music but peaceful enough keep conversation

Ambiance is amazing both inside and outside!!! Dino the manager is PHENOMENAL and made us feel like family. We were a party of 8 and we had the greatest service and our food was AMAZING!!!! Salmon and fish tacos were delicious!!!! He took time away from being so busy just to ask us questions about our weekend and we just felt so special.

We sat on the patio to enjoy the fresh air. There was a father son duo playing music during dinner. The server was attentive and made sure to help us celebrate my friends birthday. I had the JWB Burger - hearty portion size with fries; my friends had the fish burger & chicken sandwich lettuce wrapped. We all enjoyed our meal - very filling & properly seasoned.

Stayed at the Margaritaville resort and enjoyed dinner! Burger and Fish Tacos with Blended margaritas! Yummy! Service was great and friendly! Had the Buffett Margaritaville staye of mind theme with good music!

We ordered burgers one veggie and a regular one, the bread was amazing and the fries were perfect

We thought it would be like margarita ville you know like Las Vegas, Florida or Cancun but it was nothing like it. The hotel has like a bahama feel to it. The patio at the restaurant was beautiful, the food was good not a big variety on their menu. The fish tacos are amazing so was there burgers, the service was excellent. The view of the restaurant is the pool area of the hotel, It was relaxing.

We loved this place! We were unsure because of the bad reviews but it ended up being our favorite dinner spot while visiting Palm Springs. The patio is gorgeous, they had live music, and the hotel itself is super cute. The food was tasty as well!

I noticed a sign that said that you will be seated once your entire party has arrived. We didn't wait too long before our group of 19 arrived and were seated. The decor has a vintage feel with beautiful chandeliers/lighting and dark, but warm color wood throughout the restaurant. Even the ceiling is detailed. My 2nd visit was with my husband. He decided to eat here after I had brought home a coconut crème pie for him from my first visit. During my first visit I enjoyed a wonderful chicken pot pie. Even though it was a warm day outside, seeing it on the menu caught my stomachs attention. It was a good size, I wasn't able to finish it. The crust was baked to perfection. The filling was perfect just the right balance of meat to veggies, with the perfect creaminess. During my second visit I enjoyed one of the breakfast favorites on the menu which it is mentioned only served until 3pm. I had ordered the Belgium Waffle with Gold 'N' Spice Chicken Tenders. I added a side order of scrambled eggs to my order. Everything was fabulous! I devoured everything. Sadly we didn't have room for dessert! The servers are friendly and fast, and always making sure our drinks were replenished. Unfortunately, we live quite far from the restaurant. But, if ever in the area I would love to return and try something new on the menu and make sure I save room for dessert!

This time our server had a great sense of humor as well. On this occasion we were there to catch up with longtime friends and colleagues and were permitted to remain long after our meals were finished. Ambience: welcoming , comfortable, classic traditional American decor; minimal unobtrusive noise so it's no problem holding conversations. Tables and seats are clean, no water spots on the tableware. I tried the martini and burger special and it was absolutely delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly and my martini was refreshing . My husband had the western bacon cheeseburger. He thought it was good, he just wasn't a fan of the amount of sauce on it. We then split the late night fries and the onion rings, both were absolutely to die for. I would definitely recommend eating the late fries right when they come out, since they come sauced they do loose their crisp! The two-top table near the bar, with mustard-fabric lounge chairs on low spindled "moon-lander" inspired supports seem to have jumped right out of a 60's time machine, matching the retro vibe in the whole place. Our server was delightful, regaling us with her informative descriptions of her favorite dishes... it's fabulous when a server knows the menu so well that they can describe not only what's in the dish, but why it's so good. Cocktails were an obvious strength, and after my first choice, the pear-inspired Akita was regrettably "out of stock" (she informed us that they had run out of the fresh pear syrup they make by hand each day), I was steered to the It's Giving Julius. This boozy take on the classic Orange Julius, with a mouth-watering egg-white-textured foam floating on rum-infused a citrus blast. For Gayle, it was a moment to savor the non-alcoholic "Clutch Your Pearls," complete with boba pearls atop an icy lime-green concoction. The entire restaurant is themed on "American comfort food with an Asian twist." And let me say, they nailed it in every aspect. My bowl of Tteokbokk was a brilliant spin on a classic Rigatoni bowl, subbing Korean rice cakes for pasta and gochujang spiked tomato sauce for marinara, but keeping the rich parmesan/mozzerella cheese. At the server's suggestion, I topped it with fried pork belly, well executed and delicious, the entire bowl was light with an arrabiatta-like kick. My wife had the Garlic Noodles... imagine a creamy bowl of chicken noodle casserole straight out of the 60's, but without a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken in sight. Velvety sauce glazed perfectly cooked Ramen noodles with vegetables and chicken... took her right back to her mother's kitchen where the same dish was the perfect remedy for the flu - comforting and scrumptuous without being too heavy. And finally having not overstuffed ourselves on this trip, we opted for the "poor life choice" of dessert. And after asking for the "simple plate of milk and cookies," the server corrected me and stated - rightly so - that this was anything but simple. Three stuffed cookies: Red Velvet with cheesecake cream, S'mores with marshmellow, and cinnamon filled Churro - nuggets from Heaven's bakery, with a glass of cold milk. We managed to finish it and roll on out full of some of the best food we've had this year. The only minor hiccup was when trying to buy merch on our way out, the front stand didn't have a terminal to let us pay, so we had to seek out a bartender to run our credit card (and they were super busy). A minor complaint in the grand scheme... get those hosts a card reader! Note: We didn't see a single dog in the place... but they clearly are welcome to 4-legged clientele. Such a fun spot.
