Paul from Norblom assessed the situation and came up with a more cost affordable and easier to maintain solution for us to close up the broken pipe in the hard to reach location and run new pipe (up to code) to the side of the house. During his inspection he also found an issue with our dryer vent not being properly hooked up which is not something we would have noticed on our own. He was right on time in his time window, was very friendly, took the time to explain things to me, and most importantly was in and out in a few hours. I was contacted a short time later that someone would be out between noon and 4. Relieved, I got back to work. It was close to 3 when the nice young man arrived. I let him in and ge went right to work. Less than 30 minutes later, he'd cleaned out and tightened everything that caused the issue. The cost was $120. The team at Metro Heating and Cooling was able to bring someone over to diagnose the issue, then bring a team over and complete the install of a new furnace within one day, working until after 7 pm because they said they were not going to leave us without heat for a night. Mike came out within a half hour of me calling and fixed it. He replaced the line that was leaking, but instead of just putting it back how it was (in an awkward position that possibly caused the leak to start with), he fixed the pipes so the water line would fit better. Also, when he arrived he was prepared with inside shoes and took his shoes off without me having to ask (some might not care about that, but it matters to me and shows courtesy) :) Overall we are extremely satisfied with the work and friendly, professional service.
