Delicious food with a pretty extensive drinks menu. The chipotle chicken tacos were amazing - the shredded chicken was tender and flavorful, and the slaw helped balance out the texture with some crunch. My husband had the prime rib dip which was also really good and very rich. The truffle fries were thick cut and tasty as well. Only minor complaint was that service was very slow even though though it wasn't that busy. Price seemed reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food.

Fun easy place for a drink. My wife and I stopped in here for a quick drink after dinner and had a nice time. The waitress was very friendly, attentive, and answered our questions. This is very much your average modern sports bar vibe so if that's what you are looking for this will fit the bill.

I was up in Bham recently hanging out for a friend's bday and we decided to go to JUXT. Wow, what a cool place! I love that they have cocktail flights so I could try a few different things. My man and I shared a flight and it was a great opportunity to taste their innovative drink offerings. We also shared a plate of their nachos, and nibbled on our friends' cheese curds and fries - all of which were delicious. Most impressive was the service! We were there during their busy happy hour time, but our server was so prompt and patient with us too (since we couldn't decide what to order). Drinks came out a little slower than I would have liked, but I think it was because they were busy. Looks like they also have a good taplist, so next time I'm out on the town in Bham I might stop here for a brew instead of a cocktail. Great addition to downtown Bham!

Good food, good drinks and a great atmosphere. Juxt is a total winner. Outdoor seating, bar and lounge spaces for whatever you are into. Watch out for the cocktail flights as you get almost a full serving but totally worth it. The beer list is great too. I would love to recommend a must have dish but I think you will get something amazing no matter what you order. Bar staff are wonderful and like what they do. I will be back next chance I get.

Headed there for Sunday happy hour. Had the nachos, poutine and drinks. Nice place, welcoming and classy. I checked out the whole restaurant. The back area of the restaurant seems to be private. Also, the wash rooms are clean. Our server was attentive and nice. Food was delicious and drinks hit the spot. The nachos with pulled chicken was interesting since the chicken is BBQ tasting. Plus the pico the gallo is fresh. BBQ chicken was not mentioned on the menu. However the poutine. Geez I will take 10! Delicious in so many ways. They had outside seating or you can sit at the bar. We will be back

Went to Juxt on date day. Was a new place in Bellingham for us! Awesome staff and friendly customers met us here! Very helpful and willing to tell us the story of Juxt. Very nice beer selection, and very tasty craft cocktails! My girlfriend had a cocktail flight which she loved. I had several sips and the were delicious. Especially The Eiffel 75! We ordered the deep fried cheese curds as an app and they were awesome! Lightly breaded with all the goodness of cheese curds. We also got the loaded nachos, a half order was more than enough for us. The char grilled burger with bacon and jalapenos added was a top 5 burger for me. It was so friggin good!! Girlfriend loves her BLT. If your up in Bellingham stop by and give them a try. It is awesome!!

The prices here are very reasonable for both food and drinks. I came here multiple times during my visit to Bellingham since it's a great value and was located very close to my hotel. You can get a flight of four different cocktails for $20. They're 5 ounces each and such a great deal since you get 20 ounces, which cokes out to $1/ounce!. They are all pre-made and available on tap, but they still spend time preparing the garnishes so you get the exact same experience but without hearing the cocktail shaker. I got a steak for $20 which was very tasty and the strawberry shortcake dessert was awesome!

Delightful restaurant with a pub like feel. Dark grey with natural wood exterior- hip and modern. Went for lunch and it was a nice crowd, but one server sufficed for all of us. Food was prompt and a hearty size, enough for leftovers. Place is known for their BLT sandwich and fries. We also ordered the steak tacos with chips.

Seriously this place needs to get rid of the BLM sign on the window it's antiquated and the whole country is over it, if I had seen it first I would of picked another place. They also, to top it off don't accept cash, which is insane. Girls at the register were nice but more interested in talking to each other than the customers. Prices high. Almost 20 for a basic grilled cheese. Also, literally who in the planet wants to watch sumo wrestling while they are eating cheese curds. Can't make it up. Meh. If it's your style then have at it.

    Poutine with chicken

Poutine and drinks on a sunny Saturday? Yes! Stopped by here trying to avoid the market crowd and was seated immediately. We ordered whiskey sours and the chicken poutine, both of which were great. I'm not a whiskey person, but the drink was palatable and a pretty decent alternative to Moscow Mules, which are my favorite. Would definitely recommend the poutine. Given the fact that there is a generous pour of gravy over the fries, the fries were still crispy and perfectly cooked so as not to be too soft or too hard, if that makes sense. Cheese curds were just melted so that you could get a solid cheese pull without it slipping off your fork. Staff was also very friendly!

Cocktail Flight - (Time Forgot, Eiffel 75, Love Letter, Hot Thoughts)

Great place for date night! Fun late night menu specials and options for flights. I went after 9 pm and you get $2 off flights (cocktail flight came out to $20). I tried 'Time Forgot', 'Eiffel 75', 'Love Letter', 'Hot Thoughts'. Effiel 75 was definitely my favorite! I also tried the Cajun seasoning fries - delicious. Overall cool restaurant/ bar with lots of seating. I heard there's a small room in the back you can grab if you have a larger group (didn't get to see it). I was also pleased with the service me and my group received while being there.

A night out in Bellingham usually includes a trip here for drinks and delicious food! When I'm craving Mac, this place hits the spot like none other. Drinks are always on point, too.

This was a little spot on the recommendation list from the hotel I was staying at and I am glad I went. I was on a solo trip so the exploring was savored and the menus were intentional. I walked from my hotel and the happy hour menu looked awesome - it was amazing weather so I was able to sit outside on the patio and read a book. I did get a flight cocktail and an appetizer and the BLT to keep me comfy during my book. I let the server pick the cocktails and they were amazing. The BLT was perfection - and I had 2 on this trip. I have never had that many BLTs in a short span but it was what my heart wanted in Bham, baby. The service was impeccable. The BLT was amazing. The breeze was even better. Super cute spot!

It's been a long time since I've seen one this creative and extensive. If I wasn't worried about falling over, I probably would have ordered one of everything . I had the Song of the Siren, which was a perfect balance of sweet and tart without being too sweet. I especially loved the hint of white balsamic vinegar. It was surprisingly strong though, so one was plenty! My husband had Le Tigre, which had guava, passionfruit, pineapple, lime and Thai chili tincture. It had just a touch of spice and a really interesting combination of flavors. We both loved our drinks. For food, we started with the ribs and then ordered the pork belly bao buns and the hot noodle dish. The ribs were cooked really well and had a wonderful crispy/fried texture, but they were very lightly seasoned. If you really want to taste the meat, you'll probably love them. For us, they could have used a little something extra. A couple of fun dipping sauces, maybe something like a honey gochujang, would have made them amazing. Our waitress, who was extremely friendly, told us the hot noodles are one of their favorites. They weren't quite for us. There was definitely lots of flavor, but the sauce was pretty rich and dense and the dish had a good amount of spice. We each had about a bite and ended up packing the rest to take home. It sounds like it's a popular dish though, so I think this one is probably just personal preference. The absolute highlight was the pork belly bao buns. I was a little worried pork belly might mean a lot of heavy fat, but these were much more meat-forward, with the perfect crispness around the outside. The flavors were phenomenal and the bao itself was perfectly cooked. Definitely order these! Overall, really good food, wonderful service and one of the most interesting cocktail menus I've seen in a long time. We'll definitely be back.

Each used n/a spirits (n/a mezcal in the latter) and a symphony of sophisticated ingredients, which wish I tell you what. Each had a speared dried citrus slice and a luscious ginger bite (or something!) a top. The first had included honey, but it wasn't sweet--just complexified with a little snap to it that the honey smoothed; the second was a little sweeter in tone, including a bit of huckleberry along with the mezcal. (Connor might recall them by my play name for them. Inspired by a book in my hand on collecting meteorites, I nicknamed the first the "Extraterrestrial Visitor" and the second the "Heavenly Visitor.") They were so delicious I suggested he put them on the menu. If he does or doesn't, no matter. Just ask him if he has time to get creative for you. He'll ask you flavor tone preferences, or you can just go for whatever he wants to make, like I did. Again, he is excellent. I enjoyed my lovely drinks with a Caesar salad (another OMG!) which included crispy bacon bits and loads of tiny shreds of a delicious white cheese along with a creamy dressing. It was scrumptious as was the very lovely charcuterie plate. Pistachios, green apple slices, fat outstanding Castelvetrano olives (caution: with pits), a luscious pepper jelly that went beautifully dipped into with their choice of excellent crackers, delicately flavored salami and a prosciutto so elegantly-flavored it could make you weep. And it was lovely enjoying it all on their "porch" on a sunny day.

For those who are looking for a date spot with unbeatable ambiance and gourmet cuisine, The Elk Street Tavern should be your next date night destination. As soon as we sat down at their beautiful bar, the waitress and bartender were both very attentive and friendly. We both ordered cocktails off their seasonal cocktail menu. I had the East of Eden which was smooth and refreshing, but its flavor did not overpower that subtle bite of the gin. My wife ordered the Dream Girl. The combination of banana, raspberry and coconut tied together with smooth rum was so good we could have ordered several more. Our food arrived in a timely manner. The Elk Street Burger was first up. Elegantly simple with just bacon, cheese and heap of pickles with a medium rare all beef patty in-between a soft sesame seed bun. I do wish that the burger came with a toothpick through the center to keep everything together. The taste and texture of this burger was fantastic, but the real star of this dish was the frites. These jojo style potatoes had a fried crust with a crunchy texture that was almost indescribable. They also came with Elk Street's house sauce that is a mixture of mayo, mustard and bbq that gave my food a tangy kick of flavor that I will not soon forget! I would also recommend asking for their house made garlic chive sauce. It is so good! My wife's Prawn Roll was fresh and light. Chunks of prawn mixed with lemon aioli, celery, and chives stuffed in-between a toasted brioche bun. A great choice for anyone who is a fan of lobster rolls and is looking for a lighter dish bursting with flavor. Lemon wedges to garnish and a small bowl of potato chips on the side, this dish was a ten out of ten. Elk Street Tavern has a great vibe for a dinner date, or if you are just looking to sip on great cocktail at a classy bar. I will definitely be coming back again.
