As a traveling Nurse i live in my car and drive about 40K miles a year through the Tri-State and need maintenance etc more often than most others. I felt my alignment was off and went to TownFair tire and they quickly discovered that one of my Control Arms was shit and this was a repair that had to be made ASAP to avoid a major cluster F while driving. I was recommended Blackman's by the TownFair folks(great guys by the way) and i headed over there 4p on a Thursday with no appt. The staff i met were so amazing nd just regular guys who happen to be experts in anything car related.....they have all been mechanics their whole lives and i had my car back and good as new in less than 36 hrs. truly amazing interactions and i feel blessed to have found these guys and will be going there exclusively for all my family and friends car needs and i highly recommend this place in case you couldn't tell!!

After the scary experience of having my brakes fail while out with my daughter-in-law and grandkids…read more- I called AAA to get a tow - the app said it was going to be a 75 minute wait - but within minutes I got a call from Roberta of Candlewood Valley Motors, who said their driver would be there shortly and that I didn't have to wait - which was a blessing with two small children! After speaking to the driver, we decided to take the Jeep to their shop for repairs - Rhonda called me on Monday morning with a diagnosis and estimate - they completed the repairs the same day and worked with me to pick it up after hours. Everyone I spoke with was polite, helpful and eager to make me feel comfortable. I felt that the price to repair my brakes was reasonable and didn't feel pressured to do anything extra. I will definitely return the next time my car needs repairs and will happily recommend the shop to my friends and family.

The dispatcher called me 5 minutes after they received the request to let me know he was on the way. The driver quickly got to work and was done in less than 10 minutes. He even put my damaged tire in the trunk without me asking. Top notch service. I would definitely use them in the future for other services they offer.

This might be the first time I brought my car into a shop and the check engine light came on…read moreafterwards. I had gone to a different dealer and they did a full inspection of my car after aligning and balancing my wheels and an oil change. The ONLY issue they found was that might right wheel bearing needed to be replaced as the back of the car was making a louder sound. I went into Billy's a week later (because they were cheaper) to get the right wheel bearing replaced and after I got the car back, the car was louder than ever. All of the sudden my left wheel bearing supposedly had an issue as well despite another dealer saying it was in great condition. Two days after leaving the shop, my check engine light has been on and despite a few calls to the dealer, no logical explanation has been explained and overall service was awful. I guess you get what you pay for here - strongly recommend going anywhere else, even if more expensive.

My boyfriend and his mother kept pushing me to drop my car off there to have a look at. I was wary as it being a very small shop with practically no review online, but with both of them telling me they have gone here for 15+ years and this shop knows what they are doing, I took their word for it and dropped my car off the first week of September, The worst mistake in this entire world. A week and half later and a $900 bill from the repair shop, Absolutely no cure for the smoke. All was done was a oil change and a treatment was added to the oil for the smoke. We were told the car will forever be like this. OBVIOUSLY, There is something wrong with the car. After some googling online. I opened my hood, pulled out the ignition coil AND DRENCHED WITH MOTOR OIL. The valve cover gasket needs to be replaced. So because I'm afraid of my car being further destroyed by this horrific shop. I am now forced to either spend 1,000+ at a certified dealership OR repair it myself, a beginners in mechanic. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. RUN AWAY.
