Bryan has been great at handling my overcomplicated upgrades for my Schecter and old Ibanez and pointing me in the right direction with the techs. He was also a pleasure to talk to on the phone when he called to provide updates. Their tech Alex was super helpful when discussing an upgrade I didn't think was possible. I asked, on the off chance, if we could put active pickups in a 25-year-old passive Ibanez. Alex accepted the challenge with positivity and excitement. He said it would be no problem and explained what he was going to do. He also went ahead and installed some custom Guyker locking tuners on my Schecter. They are red and chrome, matching my body. He did a fantastic job! Robert is a dedicated guitar tech. I first met him when I came in to upgrade my Schecter. I had a complex humbucker set unad he was so positive and confident that I knew I had found the right place. I went back on a whim to see if I could replace my old Ibanez passive humbuckers with the ones he removed from my Schecter. I genuinely thought I was going to be laughed out of the shop. However, Alex and Robert both thought about it and were once again positive and enthusiastic. I handed over my guitar and parts, and the shop just had a very can-do attitude. I got a call after a few days to say it was done. I'm amazed at their turnaround time, as the technician's room always looks stacked with axes. Robert also went above and beyond when installing the active humbuckers in my Ibanez. I originally asked to keep the middle pickup just to be kept in but dead because I didn't want a big hole in my body. Not only did he get the actives in, but he also managed to wire it so the middle passive is still live! So my old, crappy guitar can now shred but also go back to my old punk-pop days . It also now has six voices to choose from, combining the passive and active pickups. Madness.... I highly recommend this music store! For all your guitar teaching needs, just ask for Robert

Our family will always have a special place in our hearts for Serendipity. Even a year after…read moreleaving, my daughter still talks about her teachers, her friends, and all the things she learned there - which speaks volumes about the impact they had. The teachers are incredibly warm and caring, and it truly feels like more than just a preschool. The environment is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with creative monthly themes that make learning fun and engaging. They even have live animals, including a bunny and reptiles, which my daughter absolutely loved. She especially enjoyed the baking activities and still uses skills she learned there in her everyday life. We also really appreciated the communication with weekly progress reports keeping us informed and the monthly photo albums were such a joy to go through together, helping her re-live and talk about everything she experienced. The holiday pageant was another highlight! So well-organized and heartfelt, just like everything they do. We were blown away! Most importantly, they prepared our daughter so well for "big girl school" (TK), giving her confidence and a strong foundation. If you're looking for a nurturing, creative, and enriching place for your child, I can't recommend Serendipity enough. It's more than a preschool. It's a place where children feel seen, supported, loved and inspired.

Over the past two years, through both the Butterfly and Rabbit classes, we have watched him grow and flourish in ways we could never have imagined. The teachers have been absolutely incredible. Not once did they complain about our son or make us feel that he was "too much." Instead, they consistently used their experience, patience, skills, and expertise to understand him, support him, and help him develop into the confident, capable young boy he is today. Thanks to their guidance and dedication, he has made tremendous progress both emotionally and academically. The growth we have seen in his confidence, ability to focus, social skills, and love of learning has been remarkable. As he now prepares to graduate and move on to kindergarten, we are so grateful for the role Serendipity has played in his journey. Every teacher and staff member has shown genuine care and commitment, creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive at their own pace while being encouraged to reach their full potential. Thank you, Serendipity, for everything you have done for our son and our family. We will always look back on these years with gratitude and appreciation.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how quickly she transitioned to the new school. We really love the staff, both teachers and administrators. They are sweet people always smiling and ready to help, they are also very professional. I am especially grateful that kids don't have to be potty trained, she is 3 and still having some accidents, but there's no pressure. It's a good learning environment in many ways. We also love the outside area, it has a good size playground. My daughter loves, loves, loves to swing. The site is very secure and clean. I love that they pray with the kids, and learn from the Bible. My son is at Anthem Christian School next door and it's very convenient to drop them off together! Plus once my baby is two I can take her to daycare here too, again avoiding extra hassle. And there's a sibling discount. We are very happy with both schools.

A teacher could not leave at any point without being out of ratio, which is very concerning given how young the kids are. (Example: a toddler who was already potty trained asked to go potty and was told they put a pull up on her so they didn't need to take her and put them out of ratio) The teacher for the 2 year olds seemed very dry and gave very little verbal praise during activities. Nothing about the instruction or preschool aspect of it seemed to be very stimulating. (no singing or excitement) In addition, the toys outside were mostly either very dirty or just broken, even right at the beginning of the day. Teachers didn't play games or interact with children unless it was for help or cry. Granted what they charge a week, this place is 100% not worth it.

We LOVE Ryan Ranch Children's Center! We have always had one-on-one child care in our home for our…read moredaughter, and we were really nervous and hesitant to put our child in a facility away from home, so we decided we would not put her in a facility unless we were 100% comfortable and thought it would enhance her growth. We visited a few schools in the area, as well as around San Francisco prior to moving to Monterey, but didn't find a place that we were comfortable with until Ryan Ranch. I called Ryan Ranch the moment I heard of it from a nanny at the park and was super impressed upon learning about their curriculum from Miss. Kelly over the phone. I went in the next day to tour the facility and knew it was exactly where my 2-year-old belonged. I went back again the following day with my daughter and husband, and they felt the exact same way as me. It was such a pleasure to see my very shy 2-year-old jump up and down asking if she could stay. Things that stood out to us were the structure, the learning opportunities being offered and the fact that the children seemed very happy. Now, two months in, we are happier than we imagined we could be. My daughter is well taken care of, and though she went in with far more knowledge than a typical 2-year-old, she is still learning new things. She has become more confident, outgoing, and self-sufficient, which has been a real pleasure to watch over such a short time. The owner, Miss Loretta, goes above and beyond, and is very easy to connect with and talk to. TLDR: The Children's Center is a safe and inspiring environment for a child to learn and grow, and I would recommend it for any parents that are looking for more than a typical daycare for their young children.
