So much more than a DJ!…read more We had given up on searching for a DJ and were going to use an iPod playlist until we met Peter at Bravo! Wedding's February event. Peter is professional, friendly, and efficient! He first assessed our unique needs during a consultation, and built a customized package for us! Not only did he give us a huge song recommendation list (first dance, bouquet/garter toss, etc.), he helped us create, organize and manage our reception script/schedule. He provided a mix of music to fit 'our tastes' during dinner, MC'd our reception and played the best dance music to keep our party going late! Peter helped make our reception dreams come true! Thank you for everything, Peter! Zach & Molly

Peter was the DJ for our wedding, and he really made it an incredible event!…read more Going into the wedding planning process, we had no idea how difficult it was to choose a DJ. We thought that all DJs offered the same things and just played what they're asked to. We quickly learned that a lot of DJs just offer what is asked of them, but don't seem to be too enthused about it. It was far from what we were seeking for our New Years Eve wedding. From the first time we met Peter, we knew he was the DJ for us. He told us about the many events that he's done, as well as the extensive knowledge he has about music and how important creating a fun environment is. He listened to what our vision for the wedding and reception was, offered his expertise as to what would flow well, and was genuinely excited about a NYE wedding. Also, he responded quickly to emails as well as text messages. I was very confident that he knew exactly what we wanted and that it would be an incredible night, and I was right! He provided music for seating the guests, the processional, the recessional, cocktail hour, and the reception. It was flawless!! All I had to tell him were songs we wanted for the processional, recessional, first dance, etc., and gave him a short "do not play" list, and left the rest to him. He was so good at reading the room and somehow knowing exactly what to play. I can't even count how many times people said how awesome he was throughout the night (and the following days)!! Bonus -- we only had him booked until 1am and because people were still dancing and having a great time he decided to keep going until the party was over! If you're looking for a DJ for any event, I HIGHLY recommend Peter! He genuinely cares about creating the perfect environment you're seeking, and he does it well! Oh, and ask about the confetti cannon -- it's so much fun!

When we started planning music for our wedding, Eric sent us 30-pages of top hits from his inventory, categorized by genre and event (first dance, parent dances, garter and bouquet toss, etc.) My husband and I reviewed each page, checking "yes" or "no" to be played at our wedding, and highlighting our must played options. When we didn't see certain songs we wanted to be played, we asked if we could make requests and he was more than willing to work with us. We met with Eric a month prior to our wedding to review our day of timeline, music selections, and to give him our list of our song recommendations. Eric walked us through our entire day, what he would do, set up/tear down, etc. I left feeling confident and accomplished! About a week before the wedding, my husband found an AMAZING song that required cutting. Eric accepted my cut version and graciously used it for our grand entrance. During our wedding, my husband and I weren't feeling some music choices and we asked our day of coordinator to speak with him to make some changes. Eric was receptive and on top of it! He immediately switched songs without hesitation. Eric is very prompt, flexible and professional. I highly recommend him. Thank you Eric, for being a big part of our special day!

BUYER BEWARE - THIS VENDOR IS SUSPICIOUS…read more We booked this Karaoke DJ in MAY of 2015 for an event in SEPTEMBER of 2015. We paid a deposit of $200 through paypal Today - 10 days before the event - the DJ cancelled. He emailed to say "Oh no! I am not available on the 5th. I thought this was for the 6th!? Please give me an address to send the deposit back to you. I am very sorry for the confusion!" (direct quote from email) And then when we pursued him for the deposit - he refused to return it. Again - we booked him for a WEDDING event - we booked him THREE MONTHS in advance - we paid a TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR DEPOSIT. And then he cancelled 10 days before - and REFUSED to return our deposit. This is how we found out he was cancelling: I emailed him last night to confirm the booking and ask where he wanted me to send the remainder of his fee. He responded with the above quote (and yell all of the emails are going to paypal and to the better business bureau) saying he is not available on the date we secured THREE MONTHS AGO. So I freaked out and began calling and emailing him frantically trying to find out what is going on. (Again, note, this is for our wedding and we have 150 people coming. This is our Karaoke rehearsal dinner.) Sean would not answer his phone. He actually emailed to say "Stop calling me." In the meantime, I contacted our wedding planner and told her to find a karaoke DJ ASAP. She did, and because the event is only 10 days away - we had to pay in full up front. The new DJ is $895. (Sean was supposed to be $450 total). So then I am emailing with Sean saying "please contact me - please return our deposit." And then suddenly (FIVE hours after cancelling) he says he "may have a replacement - his friend who will use his equipment." But it's too late - we already found and paid for a last minute save. I just ask for my deposit back. And Sean then says "oh well I offered you a replacement in 10 minutes so I'm keeping your deposit." NOTE: 5 hours is not 10 minutes. And when you CANCEL and say "Ill send your deposit back" that kinda means you're cancelling. This guy is totally shady and fraudulent and we are working to have him kicked off thumbtack.com, and to be marked as a fraudulent vendor on paypal. BUYER BEWARE - this is a potentially FRAUDULENT VENDOR. I CAN NOT WARN YOU STRONGLY ENOUGH: BUYER BEWARE.

Professional, but easygoing, and didn't have any ego about his role. I've been to weddings before where the DJ had an "I'm a professional, I know what should be played" attitude. Craig on the other hand, did a great job of walking the line between giving us all the things we wanted (and nothing that we specifically banned), and still reading the room as the night went on. We ended up paying to extend the dance portion of the reception because everyone was having such a great time (a request Craig was happy to accommodate), and even with the extra expense, it was quite reasonably priced. We had an absolute blast. Couldn't recommend him more highly! Thanks Craig!

Let's begin with the…read morehighlights. 1) They hold to a strict rule that whomever you do your consult with, he/she will be the DJ at your wedding; No switch-a-roos like some other companies. 2) It's true this entertainment company comes at a higher price, but they do so for a reason. If you want 5-star entertainment, you have to pay for it. 3) My wife and I never felt bored or awkward and there was never a moment where we noticed a lack of flow. The DJ's were on point at the ENTIRE night (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) with music, announcements, and fill-in entertainment that kept our guests on their toes. 4) We had 275 rowdy guests and Event Team handled it like champs. 5) If you need extras: up-lighting, TV's, projectors, etc.- they have it. 6) Our head DJ, Shawn, never hesitated to take our requests for additions or subtractions to playlists, slideshows, etc.- and we made a LOT of them. In addition, he was always willing to make great suggestions for pieces we needed help with. We had many people come up to us the night of and in the following days telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Folks, Event Team's entertainment was single-handedly one of TOP reasons we keep hearing this.
