He was so sweet and attentive throughout the day, making sure he was clear on all the details so he could give us exactly what we wanted, while keeping it all super simple so we didn't have to stress. He made the whole day flow so well, while effortlessly making every announcement in both Spanish and English (our wedding was bilingual). He was in tune with the crowd and super responsive, and did a great job of integrating both Spanish & English songs. We came to Stumptown DJs with a tall order and a fairly limited budget. We needed sound engineering for an outdoor community event that had nine different live musical acts and five speakers. I'm a little late to leave my review but life has been extremely crazy. My husband and I had our wedding in August and had Gianni as our dj. I felt like the admin team did an amazing job at matching us with a dj that would fit our wedding day so well. DJ Steven and Stumptown were excellent! DJ Steven, while being a Tier 2 DJ, was more like a Tier 10! We really wanted a fun and populated dancefloor at our wedding and DJ Steven delivered! He was great at reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone on their feet. He also surprised us by bringing a bubble gun, lights, and a 360 cam. What was most spectacular was that DJ Steven also created a special mix for our first dance so that we could do a fun choreographed dance to it. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we couldn't be more thankful to Steven for making it happen. He helped us select songs for all phases of the wedding and was able to really set the mood throughout the entire event. We received numerous compliments from guests about how the wedding was so upbeat and had an awesome party atmosphere; DJ Steven was a large part of that! Matt saved my wedding. For context, I've always wanted to have an epic wedding dance party. But with COVID-19, we decided to move the dance party outside which was in conflict with the local noise ordinance (no noise past 10pm).
