The problem I think is most folks are expecting this place to just be a chicken spot, when it's so much more. I highly encourage you to explore the menu. I went in last night and dined in with a friend for dinner. I ordered the Carne Asada. The food was pretty good! I was very impressed considering the atmosphere being a little "off." There was nobody really in the restaurant, and no music, and I just found that strange for a restaurant - or any business really. There was a point where I was looking for our waitress to ask for a glass of water, but she was talking with someone so she didn't see me flagging her down or hear me yelling. My friend got up and found her, and was trying to get her attention and it still took her a couple of seconds to realize someone was talking to her. That was a little off putting. The carne asada was perfectly cooked as requested and was coated a delicious spice blend. It sat atop a pile of French fries and was accompanied by white rice and a lightly dressed fresh salad. The chicken fried rice was a large portion of well seasoned rice with generous amounts of white meat chicken and cooked eggs. It's also seasoned with green onions and a hint of cilantro. Normally my "go to" place when I do not feel like cooking dinner for the family. My family loves the food here. They have more than just rotisserie chicken, they have a variety of food. Lomo Saltado being my favorite! It is a nice family oriented restaurant. Food is always consistent and seasoned well. Do you like Peruvian chicken? Who doesn't like a good price of chicken? If your looking for a good price of chicken in a nice environment then Justa's is the place for you. When I first walked in I was greeted nicely by staff who allowed me to seat myself if I choose or get my food to go. I decided to eat in so I sat myself at a table close to the door. I noticed also that if you walked up the stairs there was a bar area, with TVs, alcohol and all, on the platform above me. I ordered a fourth a chicken with rice and yuca. My food came in a timely manner and the chicken was rather big for a 1/4 chicken (dark meat) which pleasantly surprised me. The chicken itself was juicy and very filling. The yuca was crisp and tasted amazing as did the rice. Overall my food was excellence and the waitress we had always brought me more of the yellow colored sauce when I asked. My only complaint with this restaurant is that it seemed there was only one waitress on staff so when things picked up a little, she handled herself well, but it would have been nice to know other people were working in case a rush of people came in. Food was good considering there are other Peruvian restaurants where the food quality it's not very good. I took my family over for dinner a few nights ago and all the dishes we ordered were okay but were a bit overpriced for my taste and took forever to make even though we were the only people in the restaurant waiting for food and one more table where two were having drinks.
