    This place is amazing! There are tons of cute toys and plenty of bird mixes to choose from. They have cages and necessities as well. George, the owner, gave me recommendations on products for my bird's health, and Jasmine gave me so much information about how to best care for it. They have lots of beautiful birds to sell that are clearly very well taken care of. They even have a grooming service, which I am looking forward to using too!

    I was looking for a cage for my African Grey and this place has every style and size in stock. I picked out a cage that is working out perfectly. My bird loves the open top and comfortable 'furnishings' :) I also purchased some excellent healthy food and snacks and a couple of nice perches. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also provide grooming services and boarding for reasonble prices.

    I have been a customer since this beautiful family had owned another bird, parrot, supplies store. They are so very kind and knowledgeable. They even offer delivery for some items. They have an online store. They also are a resource I can trust if I need any advice on caring for my parrots. They do parrot grooming. I got my Kiwi years ago from them. He was a rescue bird they took in an cared for and I was lucky to have found him. It is fantastic when they help older birds that need homes too. Thank you for all you do for the parrot- bird community. All the support, guidance & education. I was super excited to see they had donated cages to parrots around the area. I stayed at a Marriott and their parrots cages were donated from Just for birds. I can't say enough just how lovely this family owned business is.

    Fun and cool spot! The kids absolutely loved it in here seeing all sorts of different birds. The staff were super nice and willing to help with anything we needed. Lots and lots of cages and accessories to choose from in the store!

    I have been supporting this small business for over a year. We adopted Momo, a Sun Conure almost a year ago from this location. Momo's wings are unclipped and we have been training him to fly on command. Most recently, I boarded Momo for a little over a week. During the week, I called to check on Momo and the Owner George answered and assured me everything was "good". When I went to pick Momo up, we again asked if there was any issue and were told that everything was fine. When we got Momo home, we noticed he could not fly and plopped hard onto ground. Momo was very protective of his right wing and I could not get a good look at what was wrong. Fearing the worst (a broken/fractured wing) we rushed Momo to the Emergency Vet hospital for triage. They informed us that Momo suffered a traumatic pull injury where his primary feathers were forcefully and painfully removed, by either mishandling or being caught in something. The Vet said that sadly, Momo will likely not fly for over a year until his feathers grow back. I was unable to reach the store by phone that evening, so I called the first thing the next day. George (the owner) answered again. Up until this point, he had been cordial with me since I began supporting his small business. I began to tell him of the condition that we received Momo in after he was boarded at the store. I only wanted to know what had happened to my poor Momo, and if he could shed some light on what may have occurred to rip out all of the feathers. I am a very understanding person, and I know that accidents can happen. From this point, George turned into a much different person. He became angry and defensive. I asked if anyone noticed such a large amount of full sized feathers laying at the bottom of Momo's cage, as they change the cage liners daily. He said nobody reported anything, and that he could ask his staff. I told him that would be good, and I asked what he planned to do to rectify the situation. George berated me, and said he would not issue any refund, and that the solution going forward would be to not visit his establishments or board my bird there in the future, and he rudely hung up. I would have never expected such a level of immaturity from a grown man. What I did expect was an apology for Momo and to be assured that he would make every possible effort to find out what happened, why it was not reported, why I was not informed, and lastly, ensure that there is a procedure in place to make sure it never happens again. I think that is what any pet owner would expect, at very least. It is obvious based on his petulant response to the incident that this place does not care about your bird or what happens to it. To date, I have not received an apology or an explanation for what happened. Be warned.

    Purchased a handfed baby cockatiel from lutz location on 12/10 for pickup on 12/17. Diana agreed to teach us the hand feeding process and get us everything we needed on pickup day in a week. We visited our bird everyday after school and watched the feeding process and so my daughter could bond with it. Diana tagged the bird so staff would know it was sold. When we arrived to pick our baby bird up it wasn't there anymore. Diana's husbands said George took a couple to Valrico store and maybe it was there. I texted pictures and it wasn't there. I am pretty sure my bird was resold. George, the owner became angry and Diana too when I questioned where our bird was. Saying the bird may have been stolen or got out of the cage and is in the store somewhere dead. They just wanted us to go away offered us another bird with no concern of the whereabouts of the tagged bird we bought and visited all week to bond with it. They Made excuses and called me names and wanted to make me seem unreasonable. I bought a bird and you lost it or sold it or killed it and you are angry at ME? They are SO pleasant taking your money but when they screw up and have to return your money or fix an issue that THEY CAUSED they become angry and impossible. Do yourself a favor and do business elsewhere and save yourself from this unprofessional family business that doesn't care for the welfare of the birds. I will include a picture of the bird I bought that we fell in love with. If you purchased it we would love to buy it and bring it home. I believe our bird was resold 12/15-12/17 in Valrico or Lutz while we were out of town. It was "missing" when we arrived to pick it up 12/17. 8138473501 reach out please pictures attached.

    *WARNING* FLEAS PLEASE save yourself a nightmare of an…read moreexperience. I went in as a first time customer. A few weeks prior I had visited the location to ask the normal questions, e.g. what services, pricing, availability etc. I was told by Madison prices began at $55 and all else that was included. When I scheduled the appt two weeks later she told me prices had changed and now it was starting at $60 because they supposedly put some special facial products, eye tear products and who knows what else. Said one of the groomers from a different location would be the one to groom my dog. My appt was for 2:30 but they weren't ready for her at that time. I asked if I needed to come back with my baby, as I do not like leaving her for long periods of time at the groomers. Becka (the groomer) said no bcuz she was almost done with her other dog (left alone on a high table) and then asked me what kind of cut did I want, she herself pointed and said this one , I stuttered, looked at it a few times and told her "I want what my dog looks like now but trimmed". She repeated, so this one In my head I'm thinking she knows what's she's doing, she's clearly looking at my doggie, I reiterated on how the style needed to remain the same, rounded paws, poodle face, just shorter. She proceeded to grab Maxie took her into the back room. (I do not know where she was placed as it is not visible) She told me to come back 2 1/2 hours later At this point I should've really just went with my gut and left with my baby. My daughter, grandson and I went to pick her up when she was ready for pick up and we were shocked at the "mutt look" the poor thing had. She was completely shaved off, no style on her face, legs or paws. Despite the shocking disappointment I paid my tab, tipped Becka and sat in the car in shock, shaking and in tears. On our 7 minute drive home I noticed a FLEA on the tip of her nose. THAT WAS THE ICING ON THE CAKE!!! I called immediately and was told by Madison that it wasn't possible because they had not had any dogs on that day come in with FLEAS. That if they do come in with FLEAS they are taken to the back immediately. I mentioned I have a 15 year old diabetic cat at home that can not afford to get fleas with her condition. She offered to have the owner CHRIS call me. I agreed to the call from him thinking the owner has manners and some consolation would be given. "THINK AGAIN!" HE WAS VERY DEFENSIVE FROM THE GET GO. NASTY AND UGLY INDIVIDUAL. IMPLIED MY DOG WAS THE ONE THAT HAD FLEAS AND GAVE ME AN UNSOLICITED CRASH COURSE ON FLEAS AND HOW THEY HOST, HOW LONG THEY FEED FOR, HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR THEM TO DIE. HE MENTIONED HOW I HAD BEEN RECORDED ON CAMERA and am seen pointing at the chart. (Mind you he had just called few minutes later, how he looked at footage so conveniently that fast is beside me) He was so disgustingly unprofessional and rude he hung up on me. He hung up because I told my daughter "can you believe this person? Record it" As soon as I said "record" he disconnected the call and proceeded to cowardly text me instead. I was like "what in the world"?! He offered to have me bring my dog back for a flea treatment but my question is "lets say she did have fleas when she came in, why wasn't I called to have her picked up or called to offer a shampoo for fleas?!" That's because she's never had fleas in her life!!! She walked out with FLEAS from this place. I declined the offer because I am NEVER stepping foot there and much less leaving my doggie there ever again. CHRIS I wouldn't be writing a review had you simply been understanding and kind. You could've apologized for the inconvenience, offered a discount for the next visit, a coupon, refunded, something kind. Instead you chose to be nasty, rude and offered me good luck with my next groomer. SMH people have no pride or respect for what they do anymore. He will write a false narrative back to this review. As a consumer and the days we are living in, SAVE YOUR PET COMPANION, SAVE YOUR MONEY, SAVE YOURSELF FROM DISAPPOINTMENT AND A HUGE HEADACHE!
