We had a great parking spot too. We then left and repaired 100 yards down the road. Probst has always been a great go to but we still weren't sold on going back. Wife said let's try Tiffany's and maybe sit outside. It was a beautiful day, why not. Our hostess Lynn was multi tasking but was kind and took our name, guided me to the outside bar and a minimal wait. From there Jacob maid my wife a Tito's and Tonic, me a Sam Adams Cherry Wheat beer. We weren't half way done with our drinks when Lynn said she had a table for us. Menu was simple, prices fair, service was outstanding, view of the street and passer's by spectacular. We opted for the turkey club and chips and my wife the German Kielbasa with peppers and sauerkraut. We did also peek in, and use the bathrooms- clean. Still better than the standard American beer people drink but not good for this type of brewery. The Christmas Town Pretzel was okay. I prefer a standard pretzel, but others enjoyed it. The mustard was very good and the cheese wasn't bad. The Big Dipper was average. The shaved prime rib was rather dry, so the au jus came in handy. Overall, it was an okay sandwich but not one I would rave about. Overall, this town does not have good places to eat, so this could be your best offer.

The castle shops are just so fun! There are toys, gifts, clothing, knickknacks and my favorite, the…read morebakery! They have a huge chocolate shop and a wine and beer shop selling German beers and steins. They have a little wine tasting area. The space is huge, easy to linger and find the perfect items to take home and remind yourself of the fond memories of Frankenmuth. My favorite bakery items: the butter horns, blueberry scones, the stollen bread and the Asiago garlic rolls! The prices here at the Castle shops are a bit more reasonable than the shops across the street at Zehnder's. The service here is also really friendly.

The menu is quite small with limited options so I ended up ordering a Pretzel charcuterie board and my husband had their sausage duo. The presentation was simple and could even be described as economical on their part. The food itself was fine for the most part. There were a few things didn't care for the flavor of like the little sausages, but fortunately for me my little pup was happy to take them off my hands. I really liked the jam served on the side of my meal and the mustard was too die for! (I actually ended up buying some to take home it was so good) My husband said his meal was fine. There were some bees or wasps that were bothering people and they did become quite annoying, especially towards the end of our meal. I kept shooing them gently, but they were persistent and when they started to bother the lady next to us, she became incredibly frightened. If you have a fear of bees or wasps, I definitely would not recommend dining here. All that being said, it was about $60 after tip for our meal and while it was perfectly adequate given the options available to us at the moment, I don't think it's anywhere that I would go out of my way to revisit.
