KFS meets/exceeds several of my criteria when it comes to a professional relationship: - my finances are important to me; when I have a question or a project, I want to be able to reach the people that have the answers - and quickly. KFS is great when it comes to being readily available / part of Monica's high work ethic. - lead by example: Monica has personally done well for herself; I would hesitate having a person giving me financial advice who is in bankruptcy - I have watched her leapfrog three offices and she is on a constant path of growth (built a-top stability) and I personally applaud her. Lastly, she has consistent staff who I trust and have a relationship with; I don't want to have to share sensitive personal information with a different person every-other month. I am a big fan of management that maintains a "successful workplace" / loner-term staff is usually a reflection of a positive management style. Thank you Monica and staff for taking care of my personal and business finances through the years.

The person on the phone said I would not be able to get an extension filed with any of their staff and would not be allowed to leave a message for a tax professional. When I…read moreneeded to get a tax return done for my mom's "estate," I was surprised to discover how hard it was to find a CPA who does these, and how much more costly they are compared to my business taxes. (For example, the CPA who does my business taxes was not gung-ho to do the return for my mom's estate and the cost was about double.) I decided to look around on Yelp and called a few CPAs. Honestly, I only called Tony Winspear because his phone number includes 1040. I am very glad I did that! The other CPAs wanted to make the situation very complicated. After hearing about what my mom's estate included, Tony was very straight-forward. The other CPAs quoted a very high price range: Tony's was much more reasonable. Whether you need a personal return, a business return, or a 1041 (estate and trust return) done I suggest giving Tony a call. I'd also like to mention how convenient his office is. Easy to get to with plenty of parking.
