Quit without a day of notice. Business account that his firm had handled for years. He says most of his employees have quit. If he is out of business, I guess he won't care about reviews either. read more

Our experience has been exceptional, thanks to Yoav and his team. Always punctual, always honest, always helpful, always bringing value. We were with Yoav for a number of years before we recently sold our business. His approach and demeanor was always reassuring. Thank you so much Yoav. We will miss you! read more

There are many wonderful things I could say about YH Bookkeeping. Efficient, affordable, reliable, but most of all completely professional. I received the best service ever; I didn't know what to do with all my QuickBooks they were so behind!!! But Yoav came to my rescue he quickly book care of my books and got me back in track just in time for taxes:) read more

What a great service! Fast, friendly and professional service. They took care of our tax for 2010. Most definitely I will use them again for 2011 tax ! read more

After working with a few different accountants in the past, I could not be happier that I decided to work with YH Bookkeeping. They are very professional and have reasonable prices. All of our meetings are to the point, and they have full understanding to all our company needs. YH Bookkeeping also assists me with analyzing our company performance. Deal with formal letters we receive from the state and other similar government agencies and in general, every question I have found them supper responsive. On a personal level, it's always a pleasure to cal them, or meet with YH Bookkeeping guys, especially the owner. Getting all the service and advice you need in one place in a pleasant and friendly manner is not something we get very often these days. Highly recommended! Gabriel Taub read more

We use YH Bookkeeping for our education startup, ClassOwl, and I can't say enough great things about Yoav and his team. Not only do they provide basic bookkeeping services (like translating bank statements into QuickBooks), they will also work with your accountant to ensure they have everything they need to take care of your taxes. We also have YH Bookkeeping keep our budget "actuals" column up to date and produce one-off reports for our investors and internal reporting. Yoav and his team are prompt in their replies, usually responding within the hour on requests, and if they are busy, they will reply with a timeframe in which they will process the request. Bookkeeping and accounting is one of those tasks you should let the experts handle while you grow your company and I would highly recommend YH Bookkeeping to startups and small businesses looking to move faster. read more

YH is simply the best book keeping service I've ever used. Yoav is straight forward and gets things done in a timely manner. No BS no wasting time, give him your paperwork and it'll get done. And after that a quick meeting once in a while. His price is very fair and that's saying a lot since I'm a cheapskate. read more

YH is like my books personal trainer/housekeeper. He and his team organize my books every month and then he asks me about unknown transactions. Every month cleaning. There's never a back up. Sometimes I forget to collect payment oops... and he even finds those so I get paid! YH Bookkeeping team makes sure I keep my books in tip top shape so I really don't worry about anything. Peace of mind. He patiently puts up with me and I am not easy. I'm a mess without them. They prob secretly hate me. :) But he and team have always been professional, necessarily stern at times, but def helpful, kind, and respectful. I learn a lot here too. He works with my tax guy Bruce who is in the next door office. I would not be able to focus on running my businesses without them. read more

I can't thank Yoav enough for what he's done for me and my company. I got behind on my taxes for last year and filed an extension for my 2012 business tax return. And then I got more behind and realized halfway through the year that I need to get my books in order! My books were a total mess. For some reason, my "accounts receivable" were negative and I tried to fix it myself so I wasted countless hours on something I did not know how to fix... Finally I used yelp to find YH Bookkeeping. I should have given my books earlier to a professional like Yoav and saved myself a lot of stress. Yoav saved me from my Quickbooks disaster and cleaned up my books (within 2 weeks!) so I could finally file my tax return. Throughout the whole process he was very responsive and always tended to my emails or any questions I had and kept me informed on his progress. I felt very certain that I was in the right hands. That is priceless. I highly recommend using Yoav's services. read more

Yoav connected me with Bruce Friedman for taxes and the whole process was straightforward and empathic all at once. What a refreshing change from what usually passes for communication. read more

Yoav helped me to clear the fog from bookkeeping. So nice to meet good people that will take the time to explain. Highly reccomended!

Towards the end of the year I had some questions about my personal tax returns. Since I have little experience with specific tax issues, I thought I'd check around and a friend referred me to yoav at YH bookkeeping. Yoav got right on it, was very welcoming and courteous, and answered all my questions and a few others beyond that. He was efficient, friendly, and gave me excellent advice, and the service was really affordable too. He solved my issues quickly and efficiently and was really nice about it - Highly recommended !! read more

I, like many of the reviews here, came to Yoav after creating quite a mess with my books. I had not had a positive experience with my previous accountant, which is why I showed up at Yoav's office with a mess. He calmly and logically asked all the questions that he needed to in order to understand my business. Then he agreed to clean up my books. What happened next was nothing short of a miracle. He did what he said! Quite quickly my overwhelming chaos was categorized to downloadable reports. So pleased! This was followed up by him recommending an accountant he works with, Bruce. They worked in tandem and my tax return was completed quickly and accurately. Also pleased. Next, he helped me set up payroll service. When the payroll people didn't provide proper follow, Yoav did and pushed things to get back on track. Much appreciated. For the last several months, he has kept my books in order, and asks me questions when he needs clarification. I get monthly reports, and feel like things are being done quickly, cleanly and accurately. He is not a mind reader, so having positive results requires me to get him information in a timely manner, which I think is hugely important for any potential clients of his to expect and honor. The cost of my previous accountants incompetence to my business had not only been chaotic books and frayed nerves. The inaccurate information he created and used resulted in a tax bill that was literally six times higher than what Yoav and Bruce worked out. Had they not worked with me, I would have been sunk by false tax liability. Because of them, my business has expanded and two more people have jobs. I was new to running a business when I hired my first accountant. I was naive. I didn't know what to ask and what to expect. After several months of working with Yoav, I can't believe the difference. I have a huge deal of respect for his work and his work ethic. I recommend him without reservation. read more

As the owner of a women's clothing boutique, the reason I got into this business is because I love styling. I love all the many different creative parts of my job, but when it comes to doing the "business" side of the business....oh the numbers, how I hate the numbers. So instead of attempting to tackle the books myself, (or like some business owners I know, not at all), I started working with Yoav. And my business actually has picked up quite a bit ever since, because I can focus on the things I'm good at and not spend any time struggling with or worrying about the parts I'm not (did I mention the numbers?) I have less stress and I'm even able to sleep better because I know Yoav is not going to let anything slip through the cracks. He is so organized and easy to work with and he makes it easy for even me to understand things like tax laws and state requirements and such. He allows me to see where I'm spending too much, where I'm doing well, and how to keep everything moving in the right direction. He is always available to answer any questions I have and he takes the time to explain things to me. I would highly recommend YH bookkeeping to anyone looking for a trusted accounting/bookeeping firm. I'll work with him forever. read more

YH Bookkeeping has made it so easy to get a real snapshot of where my business is, in terms that banks, investors, and accountants can understand. Tali and Yoav walked me through untangling my personal and business accounts, answering my questions via email and phone. So grateful to work with this team - I definitely recommend them for anyone who is looking to have a pleasant and productive bookkeeping experience. Yes! read more

Yoav is just the nicest man. His style can be very direct - he does not mince words. But, what he says is always helpful and respectful. His memory of your company's particular processes and situations is excellent. I have phoned him to ask a question and he remembers the conversation from two months before. And he is so reliable. If he knows you are in a crunch, he works extra hard to help you get what you need on time. I really cannot recommend his bookkeeping agency enough. Five stars! read more

I'm a CPA working at a small CPA firm. YH has prepared books (using QuickBooks) for a couple of our clients - one doing work in multiple states. I've been impressed with YH's timliness, diligence, and accuracy. The GL and financials come to our office with few, if any, adjustments needed. YH's knowledge of bookkeeping and experience with different tax issues enables them to know if additional guidance is needed for an transaction so it's handled correctly the first time. The books are prepared correctly the first time through saving a lot of time on our end. Additionally, YH provides information to our office on a timely basis for tax preparation and tax projection purposes. Very efficient. YH has also dealt with out of state income - researching to make sure sales tax issues and State ID numbers are handled properly. A really great company. read more

My relatives started a new business a year ago & kept track of their business books on their own. At first it wasn't too bad because there weren't too many expenses, but as their business grew and grew, the bookkeeping became more tedious. It was an issue to them when they had to take a loan but the bank asked for financial reports for the business & they didn't know how to make one. Since they didn't know any bookkeeper around, I've sent them to Yoav whom I received a great recommendation from a good friend of mine that used his services in the past. They met Yoav & explained their situation. He told them he could get their books ready in time to submit to the bank. And voila! Yoav had their books ready just like he said and on time. Now they use his services on a monthly basis and it's great. They get financial statements every month so they know how their business is doing and they also have quarterly meetings for tax planning with the in house CPA, Bruce. They are so happy with Yoav that they asked for my help to express their gratitude. Since they don't use the internet much nor do they use any social network online, I thought it can be a good idea to write something on Yelp. So... although I don't this guy personally (other than being very professional, they say he is very kind), I'm happy to write this for them since I've never seen them so excited about anybody(!!!). read more

I switched to YH bookkeeping after a disastrous experience with a nearby accounting firm. I run a small business, and recent growth had left my books messy and me with LOTS of questions. Yoav sorted everything out, no drama, very reasonable cost, no stress. He is super smart, and really listens. He also worked with my new accountant to align reports and tax work and for the first time EVER I can stop worrying about this stuff. He's very good. If you're looking for bookkeeping, get in while you can because his good work, high integrity and nice personality are going to make this business very, very busy! read more

While running a small business and managing several rental properties, the last thing I want to deal with is booking. Having YH Bookkeeping keep track of my books with monthly reports has been a lifesaver. Yoav gets the job done and gets it right. Bruce has done my accounting for years and having both an accountant and a bookkeeper in the same place is a dream. Both are awesome and I highly recommend. read more
