That was after the $75 off coupon I had. Said they drove it 20 miles and it was fixed. Within 30 days after the repair, I started smelling and seeing the burning oil again. I called to let them know and they told me to bring it back so they can look at it again. It wasn't terrible and I never had oil under my truck when parked. I did not take it back. Instead after a few months I took it to another independent auto care. They diagnosed the problem as a torn valve cover gasket and stated there were several bolts loose and one the was striped. They recommended I take it back to Parkway but I had this other auto care take care of it as I had lost faith in Parkway Automotive. The other auto care replaced the valve cover and vacuum seal. That cost was $785,11. Over $1,000 difference in price and more work done. It's unfortunate that they overcharged me so much and did such a poor job in the repair. I will never do business with them again and expect if they overcharged others and do poor repairs, they will lose a lot of business to other auto care businesses. Very disappointed and they should be ashamed.

They were quite far for me to drive to, but I went to them after reading the reviews and browsing their website. I brought my 1981 Mercury Cougar XR7 for some cosmetics. I was nervous a bit to be honest cause I know some mechanics can be "rough" on treatment (like leave a scratch or dirty the interior, etc. When I arrived, comfort wasn't immediate, but as soon as I discussed with them as to what I needed done to the vehicle, I knew it was going to be in good hands. When I picked up my vehicle, I was a very happy customer. Am coming back to have them do some more stuff. Thank you!

If I took it to the dealership to have them perform the Diagnostics Scan Codes it would have cost $140.00 and it would have been there all day, but I would have gotten a rental car. When I asked Jeff how long it would take him he said an hour or less and I asked why the difference between him and the dealership and he explained it to me and also said that the scan itself would only take an hour at the dealership as well. I saved myself $ 50.00 and pulled a chair outside his shop, enjoyed the breeze and in no time at all the work was done!! Yes, he (Jeff) reset the Code and I was Happy!! When you have Auto Problems Go See JEFF!!! From Calif who just Moved to Ohio, Thank You! Lydia

5/5 stars! Writing…read morethis review the third time I've been to Overbeck. The first time was a standard oil change, the second time was getting a full set of new tires with an alignment and balancing and they repaired a broken tire pressure sensor. The alignment was done properly for the first time, probably ever in my 11 year old car, according to the tech. It was so rusted stuck that had to use a torch to heat everything up so it would release. And I just took it to a Toyota dealership less than 1 year ago for an alignment. When I told the staff this they said it looked like it had never been touched. So it seems to me that everyone else (Toyota and firestone) besides Overbeck wanted to stay on schedule, not getting behind, and just did the bare minimum. And let me tell you what- my car drives like it's new again. The third time was 2 days after my tire pressure sensor was replaced- I took it back in to have it looked at becuase the low tire pressure light came back on. They told me the one they replaced was only intermittently working and was therefore defective. So they replaced it for free and sent me on my way. The best part about this? They have a line that they text confirm your appointment, send quotes to, etc. I send a text to this number around 10pm on a Wednesday to try to secure an appointment early the next day. To my surprise, someone wrote back and told me to bring it right in in the morning, no appointment necessary. When I got there, they said "we're dropping everything to get you on your way", And even offered me a loaner car for the day, knowing I had to get to work. I declined because I had the capability to work in their cozy lobby on their wifi network. I feel like I'm truly treated like family here, they even greeted me by name today (which I find impressive since I've only been here three times). I'm so so satisfied. I just happened to come across this place because I got a coupon in the mail for an oil change. I'm so glad I decided to bring my car here. They want to make sure they're doing the best work possible and making sure they have happy clients.
