I am SHOCKED! This place was amazing I wish I caught the name of my massage therapist.... She was so strong and gentle. I told her my neck really hurt and she took great care of me. I've had about a million massages all over the world.... Trust me this place is legit. I flew into LAX at 5pm. Had a appointment by 6pm on a Friday evening very last minute! read more

I've been coming here for years off and on. I've had Odette, Anna, May, Su, and today I had Alexa. Odette and May were the BEST but they both moved on; the others suck. I am very dissatisfied with my massage today. Alexa started 10 mins late, which really isn't a huge issue so long as I get my full hour, and I did minus maybe 3 mins. My issue is I feel the same as before I got there. She spent about 47 mins on my back and the rest had to be rushed. She uses SO much oil, I'm talking about 2-3 pumps per arms, to where there's no friction at all so you're really not getting any kind of pressure. For my thighs I counted 3-4 pumps and then she did and extra 2 for my calves. WTF. I'm a petite person, people. She had to rush to do the rest of my body which comprised of very quick strokes and no work on my feet at all. She had me turn on to my back which I don't know why because I was on it for 2 mins before she was done. Also, she was so rough with moving the body around, meaning she would drop my legs and arms rather than lie them down gently. I was so tangled in the sheet at the end and just very uncomfortable. It's time for me to find a new place because the management/owner for this place never intervenes. I'm actually pissed at myself for paying for this lackluster service today AND tipping her!!! I want my money back for the service so I can take it elsewhere and get an actual massage. read more

Today I saw Joy for a 60 minute massage that was AMAZING. I explained I have sciatica in my left leg and she was clearly knowledgeable of what I needed to feel relief. I am so satisfied I will certainly be back to see her. The only issue I ran into was the male receptionist having a full on personal conversation on speakerphone which I could totally hear. There's no reason I should hear about dinner & travel plans, let alone on speaker. This is so rude to the hard work these massage therapists put into creating a comfortable & relaxing environment. Joy was too good to reflect this nuisance in the rating, but it was extremely unprofessional. read more

EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF. I made an appointment after work at 515. i called around 520 to let them know i got held at work and unable to make my appt. hoping to reschedule to a later time that evening i asked what time they closed. a gentleman then proceeded to basically berate me telling me i should have called earlier because they're extremely busy and someone else could have taken my place. he then proceeded to HANG UP. How the hell am i supposed to know i was going to stay later at work. very unprofessional and as a south bay guy i would expect better service from this small community we have here. Absolutely shocked a business lets someone talk to their customer that way. read more

Amazing each time I come in they are always on point! Easy to get in and out without hassle I come 2x a month LOVE IT HERE

I've been going to this Just Massage location for several years since I live just a few minutes away, and have had nothing but good experiences. But I had to come leave a review after my appointment this afternoon specifically for Kai, the massage therapist who worked on me today. I think she started working there relatively recently-- I'm so glad I happened to end up on her schedule because she is AMAZING!! One of the best massages I've ever gotten in my life Definitely going to be making all of my appointments with her from now on! read more

Consistently good service - if you don't already have a regular therapist, ask for Tanya or Alexa!

After coming here for years I just recently had a bad experienced with the receptionist. I called early morning to make a 2 pm appointment with my favorite massage therapist and after re accommodating make busy work and home schedule I arrive 15 minutes early to my surprise they had bucked me with the wrong therapist !!! I don't have many days off and when I do they are very busy days as well. It was very upsetting the receptionist was non apologetic when I as why would you schedule me in if she is not at work today !! His reply was it wasn't me. I got no apology and the therapist who was schedule for me was also disappointed since I didn't have her message me. She rudely walked away. I was left in the waiting area with out any explanation or apology. Re train your staff. read more

The title for this place says it all: JUST. MASSAGE. There are no bells and whistles here. No hot pads, no aromatherapy, no scented lotions, no candles, no art on the walls. It's just rooms with massage tables, calm music, and clean linens. It was a good massage and for $45 for 60 minutes, a good deal. read more

A muscle knot doesn't stand a chance with Joy. Had my first hour with her today and she is wonderful. The shop itself is basic, but unless you're looking to move in, all that matters is that it's clean and comfortable, which it is. A great value, friendly staff, convenient location, and appointment process is a breeze. Can't say enough good or recommend more! read more

Best massage I've had in years. And I go every month. I passed through this city and searched for an affordable price. I found that and a real professional. Her name was Chonda i believe. Better Thai massage than i had in even Thailand. Thank you! read more

Booked the appointment online fast and easy. Process was smooth. Joy was great def recommend her.

Love this place ! I was experiencing a lot of pain in my upper back and neck so I decided to try this place out and it was so worth it! I had Paula as my massage therapist and she took the time to ask where I felt the most pain and she spent extra time on my upper back and neck which was awesome. She also took the time to work out all my knots in my forearms and legs as well. I left feeling so much better and my pain going from an 8 down to a 2. Not to mention this place isn't super pricey. Highly recommend!!!! And if you can, request Paula ! read more

If you're into S&M, this place maybe right for you. Otherwise I would pass and go to another place because the lady who gave me a massage was terrible. I would have never thought this tiny Asian woman could have so much strength. I've had more than my share of massages and this by far was the most uncomfortable and painful. Not your "Thank you mistress of the night, may I have another while wearing the leather assless chaps" kind of good pain but "damn that hurt so much my ass muscles tightened up every time she put her hands on me" kind of excruciating pain. Unfortunately, this massage review doesn't have a happy ending! read more

Just about every year I purchase a number of gift certificates so my girlfriend could enjoy a personal massage from someone other me. I am commenting on our satisfaction from the front desk, not the massage experiences we had over the years... I can't comment on the massage experience because the rotation of the employees, it is simply hard to track who is where, when and if they will be available next week/month. It seems that year after year customer service slowly diminishes and the front desk employees seem like they're doing you a favor when it comes to scheduling a massage, or even purchasing the gift certificates. We're not picky when it comes to amenities, parking availability, and as long as the job is done with some customer service included we walk away with a smile on our face... this is not the case when it comes to Just Massage in El Segundo. We will be using our gift certificates at other locations, and will think twice about purchasing any additional services. read more

I love this location, I've had one of the best deep tissue massages in a long time. Sasha was the massage therapist and she was awesome. She was strong, patient and very skilled. This is my second massage at this location and Sasha was awesome... Give her a shot. read more

Im a regular here (or WAS) and I made an appointment with my fav "Teya" for a friend of mines Birthday as a surprise. I called 2x within a week to confirm the surprise appointment and was told that my appointment was solid. When we get to the appointment we were told that "There are no appointments for you". I told the receptionist that I called a day PRIOR to confirm, I gave her the time I called and whom I spoke with, again she apologized and said "There's nothing here IM sorry". Mind you the birthday girl is hearing all of this =( She did indicate that mysteriously there was an opening while we were there. I told her to book it since my original appointment was never made..THEN she showed me the phone where I DID call (after I told her that I did) She was nice but I was HIGHLY disappointed with the older lady that answered the phone the 2x I called to confirm. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS PLACE THAT YOUR APPOINTMENT IS CONFIRMED so that you dont have to arrive and find out that no appointment was ever made! read more

I made an appointment today to get a much needed massage. I arrive and was introduced to Tia whom I never met there since I've started there over 4 years ago. Come to find out Tia does not do deep tissue massage and so I had an lady that Tia said that does deep tissue Julia. Well as Tia is telling Julia to help me, Julia started muttering in a language other then English which to her surprise I understood and was saying I don't want to do it. Very disappointed in the way things took place. I've been coming here for over four years and always had odet to take care of me. Unfortunately, she was busy so I got stuck with the two most unprofessional people. I felt like I was at a nail shop when they start talking about you, you know they are but don't understand what they are saying. Fortunately, for me I did understand. This place has lost its touch. Will never go back again until they find new staff or new owners!!!!!! read more

This is one of the best massage I had in my life. Great example experience and I will go back . Strongly recommended!!! read more

I'll have to bump up my review an extra star. I've gotten so many gift certificates to this place from work so I've been back quite a few times and have had different masseuses each time. The quality is inconsistent and unfortunately I can't remember any of the names to give you any better advice.. but on average the massages are decent. Regardless, it's $45/hour and you can schedule an appointment online and choose a masseuse if you want. http://www.mysalononline.com/JMSES/. They also do couples massage for the same price per person which is nice. read more

Whoever is handling appointments is RUDE. I called to let them know they called me by mistake and the lady just hung up on me...invest in customer service training. read more

I wanted to add to my review that it was a good service just that the next day I woke up to be super soar and hurt, this continued for about 4 days. Im guessing she really use all her strength on me, but I won't be going back or recommending to anyone anymore I don't want them to feel the same pain. read more

My therapist Amy was amazing! She helped w my neck & shoulder pain. I will be back to see her for 90 minutes next time. This place is not fancy at all & I did not care for the outside noise at first but after awhile I was able to tune it out. Definitely worth $45.00 read more

The massage I got was awful......... A therapist stepped on my back more than 5minutes (!!!!!) because the therapist told me that my back was so tight????? The excess amount of oil was applied. Amazing massage from James. I was in the neighborhood and usually go to a spa on beryl hills for massage. It was experiencing pain in my lower legs and looked on Yelp and found Just Massage The outside is a strip mall full of restaurants and its tucked away and looked not so appealing from outside but inside was an amazing massage and the owner Caesar was very professional and kind Very clean and basic but James is worth seeing and the massage was only 45 dollars I will go back and even make a special trip James relieved all my pain. Thank you James read more

I was surprised to find so many 1-star ratings here... I've always had a good experience here, the massage therapists are always nice and responsive if you tell them you want less/more pressure. I highly recommend Teresa. It's good value, the same massages at Glen Ivy and other spas are literally two times as expensive. I don't know know about your but I'd rather have 2 pretty good massages than 1 massage that's great except the guilty feeling for dishing $120 for a 1-hour massage. The 3 page forms you sign at the beginning are a bit much... but they're a chain so you only have to fill it out once. read more

I have found the masseuse of my dreams... PAULA! I was recommended by my coworkers to her and she is amazing. She is so sweet and welcoming. I'm giving 4 stars because the message facility it self is set up in a weird way. The location can be hard to find. It's in the same complex as Togo's. When you walk in the vibe isn't that welcoming and the receptionist didn't greet me. THE MASSAGE WAS AMAZING though. JAMES is the guy to go to. He really tries to have positive and relaxing energy in the room. Super interesting guy. We had so much to talk about. If you're into having a conversation during your massage. Some people just want to lay there. He knew so much about the human body. I learned some things from him. I would go back to him for sure. read more

I had some serious lower back pain and needed help quickly. For the moderate price, they beat me up in a good way. I knew they were working out some issues that needed attention. A good masseuse won't be afraid to dig deep and work things out-- this woman climbed on my back and would only pull back if I told her to. I've heard they do good sports massage, too. I'll be back. read more

I called in the morning of and asked for an appointment for two--I was planning on taking my friend for her 18th birthday. We show up and didn't get placed in the couples room because I had failed to specify that we wanted to be in the same room. The receptionist took responsiblity, saying that she should have asked if we wanted the same room, but it wasn't that big of a deal regardless. There was some paperwork that we had to fill out beforehand, but it was only a page of basic information that covered contact info and health issues. Not a big deal. I had Teena. She was very gentle, focused on my tenser areas, and rolled out all the knots in my back. My friend had Teya. She was very physical and strong. This was my first massage experience so I have nothing else to really compare it to, but it wasn't anything that would stand out. With that being said, it wasn't a source of displeasure either. I would say that you get what you pay for. read more

This was my second time here. I was hesitant to come back because I don't remember my first time being anything spectacular, but they had open appointments for my gf and I and it was also the cheapest. I'm glad I came back because this time was so good! Amy was my therapist, just the right amount of pressure (medium-hard). I just got a Swedish because I wanted to relax and I really did.. I straight fell asleep in some parts lol but it was worth it. I felt so refreshed after which was exactly what I wanted. $45 for one hour can't beat it. Nothing fancy but they do have showers, which is good to know for the future. I'll come def come back for Amy! read more

Despite living and working in El Segundo for 7 years, I'd never actually been to Just Massage until yesterday. I'd seen it enough times tucked into the corner of a mini mall on Sepulveda (near Togo's and The Boat) & was always curious about it. A long, stressful week + a gift certificate from my stepson inspired me to make an appointment. I went online to the website yesterday morning and was able to make an appointment for the same day at 3 p.m. (which is wonderful). The website allows you to choose a therapist, as well, if you know who you would like and I took the recommendations of all the Yelpers and chose Odett. When you first enter, it feels more like a free clinic than a spa, honestly. The "waiting room" is essentially the entry hallway lined with chairs. The woman working the desk when I arrived was kind of gruff (I see this was mentioned by previous Yelpers), but the receptionist on my way out was very sweet. I filled out the health form and, right at 3 p.m., Odett came to get me from the hallway. The massage room was fairly spacious and, while nothing special, seemed clean and had a few black & white photos on the "industrial beige" walls. There are no smelly candles, but the lights are on a dimmer, so the room is still functional as a low-stress space. There was also an eclectic soundtrack ranging from new age to smooth jazz. I could have done without the jazz, honestly, but it wasn't terribly distracting. The massage table was fine, but wasn't the coziest I've experienced (low thread count sheeting and the padding could also have been better). All that said, Odett really is as fantastic as everyone says. My 1-hour massage was phenomenal and Odett was even able to massage my feet and calves without tickling me (a problem I always have with massages). I had indicated I needed extra work on my neck & shoulders and she really worked the knots out. At the end, she also gives you a vigorous scalp rub which feels fantastic. If you are looking for a fancy spa experience, look elsewhere. But, if you just want an amazing massage, go see Odett! read more

Today was my second visit here. The first time I came, back in November, I had a great experience. The receptionist was extremely friendly, and the masseuse I had was named Odette. She did an incredible job, was friendly, introduced herself, and gave me an hour massage. It was the best massage I have ever had. I left there feeling like I was floating ...and that "high" continued for several days. Today. Well, that's another story. The receptionist was cold. She wasn't exactly rude, but she was less than friendly. I'm not sure who gave me my massage, as she never gave me her name, however, it was less than satisfying. After she started my massage five minutes late, she had to take a break to blow her nose. She was inconsistent during the massage -- she worked the hell out of one of my calve's, and the other one she barely rubbed for two minutes. She had to ask twice what I wanted worked on, which is fine, but I told her that it was my shoulders. I left with my shoulders feeling worse than when I had arrived. She also ended my massage 5 minutes early, so I paid the 60 minute price of $45 to only be massaged for 50 minutes. As I sit and type this 3 hours later, my shoulders hurt EXTREMELY bad. I'm going to have to pay to go get ANOTHER massage just to fix the damage she did. Next time, I will either request Odette, or I won't come here again. Highly disappointed in this visit. read more

I have been continually going to this Massage place for many years now, and every experience has been great. Once, I even came on my birthday, and they sang Happy Birthday as I walked through the door. That made my day! :) I always get my massages from Odett, and she is absolutely lovely. Very very sweet, and so pleasant every time I see her. I schedule an appt about every 6 weeks, and she always remembers any problems I had previously (I have been recovering from a tailbone injury for almost a year). I would definitely recommend her for your massage! If you can, please tip your masseuse with cash so they can avoid cc fees. read more

I will continue to recommend this massage studio in El Segundo especially for one massage therapist who is great! Therapist, Paula at the El Segundo Just Massage location helps me so much and decreases my level of pain and discomfort and stress level after every session. She is very professional, knowledgeable, consistent, and listens to what you want and need for your massage. Paula always brings good energy to her sessions and is very polite. The price is great. The facility is clean and simple with many massage rooms. I have never had an issue with calling and scheduling. Paula works there 4 days/week I believe. The front desk is always polite and professional. Good Job Paula and Studio! read more

I was in desperate need of back pain relief. I'm in my third trimester and I was in constant pain. After going to the chiropractor with no luck I stopped by here and let me just say I walked out a different person! Joy took care of me and she was amazing!!!! I know if I'm ever in any pain I'll be coming right back here to have her fix me again. I was able to actually sleep again for the first time in over a month. And on top of the awesome service they provided their prices are extremely reasonable!!! Thank you so much y'all!!! read more

These massage studios offer the best massage for the price. Better than most expensive and similar massage parlors I've been to. It's also nice that they do an hour massage rather than 50 minutes like other places which really turns into 45...for way more money. This is a no frills massage place but does have a warming pad on the table. I took a star off only because I didn't get asked about pressure, the massage wasn't the smoothest and heard the toilet flush half way through my massage. read more
