I asked for a messy, undone hairstyle with many many braids; she joked to me as she was prepping my hair that she was called "The Braid Queen" in cosmetology school. Divine synchronicity for me!! To wrap this up, here is a real, unedited text I sent to Dana a few days after my wedding: "Greetings from the other side! My magical braids lasted for two days, and everyone's response to both my hair and makeup was equal parts "so you" and "ethereal". Honestly, it was everything and more that I could have hoped for. I had Bri and Annalise for my wedding day in La Jolla! They were incredible and brought the chill vibes into the room.
