But i didnt stay long enough to find out Upon entering the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Killeen you are slapped woke with an unusual oder of a mixture of Dirt, Dust, rust, mold, moisture, and a heavy thick Pet Urine and fecal smell. Your greeted by a very plesant blond hair woman who is sitting in her chair on her cell phone and a huge box of assorted candies such as Starbust and chews within reach. I and my family wanted to be show to our room however there were no attendant to assist us, so we escourted ourselves upon entering the room i was shocked to find the bed a mess, the floor filthy the bathroom nasty the pullout couch pillows were missing and had dog Urine on it. We went down stairs back and forth checking a total of 7 room the last being worse than the first one room I sware Looked like a Murder scene i strongly felt tge police should have been notified no BS , After appology after Appology from the sweet attendant she offered to release my money back to me and advised me to go to the Sparks Hotel which i found to be absolutely amazing considering coming to this one. I strongly advice the city to condemn this Hotel if the serious issues such as in my opinion Urine, fecal matter, blood, seminal fluid, human fecal and pet etc is not resolved immediately after we left and went to SPARKS hotel the next day the fure departmwnt showed up i was not surprised. DO NOT I REPEAT WASTE YOUR GAS AND COME TO THIS HOTEL ITS TRULY HORRIBLE and the pictures are CLEARLY OF THIS HOTEL IN ITS GRAND OPENING YEARS AGO. Do to miss management, and miss appropriation of funds this Hotel needs a new General Manager.

It was around 9 PM who does this?! Talk about going above and beyond she really did it!! We slept well and rocked on front porch the next morning listened to the birds, morning breakfast was absolutely fantastic - there were four of us and everything was just beautiful and delicious -- the entire property is amazing and very comfortable we stayed inside the main house on our first visit to the Rose Mansion which was only last Thursday and we loved it so much we stayed again last night - this time we stayed in the Garrison cabin and it was so quaint and peaceful Kay is the best host and can tell you many interesting facts about the property nevertheless the beds were comfortable the accommodations were wonderful The feel of the property is very peaceful and relaxing and the town of Salado is absolutely charming! It's obvious they had issues before…read morebecause I heard staff make a comment before our movie started but they didn't alert any patrons, so I thought it might have resolved. I went out to ask them about it mid-movie because I was sweating and everyone around me was complaining and they played dumb and said "they'd turn it down". I'm 7.5 months pregnant. Maybe be honest about issues like this before we start the movie so we could make a decision to stay or not BEFORE it starts. It's one thing to have building issues out of your control, but to not be considerate enough to say something is unacceptable.
