I always love coming here. It's always clean and the staff is nice. However. We went a couple days ago and I had the frozen coke with jack Daniel.... That was straight up only frozen coke, no alcohol at all. I asked the staff if it really did have any in it, and they assured me it did. My wife is a light weight and even she couldn't tell it had any alcohol, kinda disappointed that I paid extra for it, I should've just grabbed a coke. We were going to see a movie and our kids wanted us to bring them some popcorn. We bought a bag of popcorn, 2 candy boxes and a large soda. We spent almost $50 in concessions and tickets. It wasn't more because we have been Movie Club members since before COVID and I used a coupon and a saved ticket that we had. When we were getting our tickets to go into the theater, they stopped us and wouldn't let us in. They told us we couldn't go in with the bag of popcorn. They said it was a to go bag, and we told them yes, we were taking it to go after we saw a movie. They would not let us in and they called the manager. So here are my questions:1-why did I see a lady with a bag of popcorn last time we went to the movies inside the movie theater eating the popcorn from the to go bag. It made me wonder if it was because we are a minority and the lady eating popcorn out of the bag was not. 2- If the bag of popcorn is to go only and not allowed inside the theater, it does not say to go ONLY, NOT ALLOWED IN THEATER. No one told me when I was buying the bag that I couldn't take it in. I was so excited to hit platinum in the next couple of visits and now I am thinking of canceling the movie club. So I just came here and watched the new Wonder Woman movie. But...I'm sorry to report that I will not be reviewing that movie here because that's not what I do here at Yelp. I review establishments. *wah-wah* Ah, Cinemark. Such a convenient and cordial movie theatre franchise. I sought this out specifically for the ability to pre-order tickets via their app. And ya know, everything worked out just as it does whenever I do this at the Cinemark that's 5 minutes from my house. The setup of their lobby is just about identical to that one, too. Something I notice almost immediately upon entry: their touchscreens for the ticket pickup are 10 times more functional than the ones back home. Seriously, the ones back in EP are like...thick as bricks. I feel as if I'm either about to break my finger or crack the screen, I'm pressing so desperately hard to enter in my ticket number. Although if you ask me, I don't understand why I can't just scan the barcode of my ticket into the machine in the first place. It's 2017 and we use Apple Pay and smartwatches, but can't scan our tickets at a Cinemark. However, this Cinemark IS missing one thing: reserved seating. I assumed most, if not all, of them had it. This one is just general seating. So what I'm telling you is if you're going to see a potential blockbuster comic book film on opening weekend, be sure to show up at least 30 minutes prior so you can get a good seat. We had people still showing up 10 minutes into the previews and you could clearly see they were desperately seeking available seating that wasn't anywhere near the front of the theatre. No one wants a crick in the neck watching a film. I honestly don't even know why they make seats that close to the screen. But anyway, Cinemark has always been consistent where it counts. And I'm giving this establishment 4 fully functional touchscreens out of 5. read more

Really nice theater - just opened last month. I found out that on their opening day they had $1 popcorn and $1 sodas(?) and all the proceeds went to the Warrior Transition Unit (WTU) at Ft. Hood. The inside is just a tiny bit different in the way that it's set up. Instead of buying your tickets from the outside, you have to go in... and even then it's not right in your face, it's off to the right. The first thing you actually walk into is the concession stand. It's pretty big and from what I read on the website it's self-serve. Although the self-serve was closed off when I went since I was there for the last movie of the evening. They do offer a game room but the lobby didn't look as if it lended itself to sitting down if you had to wait for a showing. The spacing between the rows are generous (think Palladium in San Antonio for those of you who know what I'm talking about) and I didn't have any big issues with anyone trying to get past me. Nice area that it sits in - of course the majority of the shopping area is still being worked on so be cautious of nails or debris on your way in or out. Especially since some of the street lamps aren't up yet. read more

The location of the theater is great. It's surrounded by restaurants and stores. If you want to catch dinner and a movie this is a great location. The theater now serves alcoholic beverages which is a bonus and a great attraction for adults to come and enjoy themselves. The fact they offer Starbucks coffee is a huge bonus for parents needing a caffeine boost at the movies. I do recommend this movie theater to go see the latest releases. read more

Terrible service, they are very inconsistent with training their employees on enforcing policies and procedures. So about 2 days ago me and my family went to see Spider-Man Far From Home. When we were paying for our tickets the employee that was serving us didn't mention to us that we had to pay for my younger brother who is 2. Just about 20 minutes ago we were about to go see The Lion King, but this time we were not able to see it because they wanted to enforce a policy on us saying that any child between 1-12 they must be payed for. Honestly, 1-3 ages should not have to be payed for. First of all, 1-3 year olds aren't even paying attention to the movie. It doesn't make any sense how my brother gets into Disney World and Sea World for free but must be payed for to watch to a movie that is 2 hours long. Horrible experience never going back. Texas law has stated that since September 1st, beer can sold at 10 AM on any day, yet Cinemark makes you wait until noon on Sundays still. It was the day after Christmas at 11:15, and I wanted to relax, so I could enjoy a good flick after the stress of family and everything else. That is not an option here. Why sell beer at all then? I left so I could watch a movie on iTunes. Not going back until this theatre becomes a Texas, law-abiding establishment. read more

I found nothing wrong with this theater, new and shiny, no stank. Ticket girl was a little dumb, but that's notorious in any theater. I think it's nice they offer a military discount since that's what really fuels the economy here. That and the defending our freedom thing. Im in a movie now in theater 11 and asked the air to be turned on and still my phone shows 79 temp went back and ask why no one turned air on and she said dunno i asked can someone turn it on she said not right now she is to busy no one is in line at all or walking up..so i asked to speak to management she said she was i told her this is not okay with it being 79 almost 80 and she just says sorry nothing i can do until i can check..so i asked for my money back after its over and she got an attitude and said i guess and rolled her eyes im so not mean to people at all and i was shocked how she treated people..ill never come back and i will drive 30 minutes extra to avoid this bad service here. I really hate to do this...because for a time this theatre was my favorite around here. My husband and I recently went to see a movie there...while I understand that people think it's cold in the area...and it is a bit nippy....what I don't understand is why the theatre needs to be a freaking sauna! Seriously....95 is just too hot! A couple points I have about the issue....while it may be cold outside...the people that have just come in from outside have jackets! That's right...jackets. So, you can keep the temp at 68-70, and people will be just fine. Also....it's always been my impression that theatres are supposed to be a bit on the chilly side... I probably would have just been ok with the whole thing...except that when I asked why it was so hot in there....and asked if they could turn the heat off...they informed me that they would have to send an e-mail to the corporate office....that's right....an e-mail controls whether or not people are comfortable while paying $20 to see a movie. Apparently, they don't have any real control over the thermostat....some strange person in a corporate office that is NOWHERE near us controls our comfort.... Only go to matinees, not for the price since the military discount is the same as the matinee price, but because other people are generally inconsiderate and matinees are usually empty. Never had any problems with this theater until yesterday. I tried to put my drink into a cup holder, but couldn't because it was full of trash from a previous showing. And this was not at the last movie of the night but the FIRST movie showings of the evening because our movie began at 7:00pm. If you've read any of my reviews you've learned that I'm a clean freak. So this place gets 5 stars alone for its high level of sanitation. No sticky floors, the restrooms were clean as was the concession stand. Not too cold and the staff is very helpful. They offer a military discount which is a plus. I'm sure it can get pretty busy on a Friday or Saturday night, but on this Sunday evening it wasn't too packed which was nice. read more

We went to see Rogue One. My wife purchased the tickets online and we received a QR code which expedited admission and served as proof of purchase, can you say convenient? The theater was surprisingly empty since the movie is a new release but that was a good thing, there were no lines. I wanted popcorn (of course) while my wife just wanted a drink so we headed to the concession stand. I ordered the #1 which included a large tub of popcorn and a large drink. While the attendant was filling my popcorn tub she did something truly amazing, she filled the tub halfway, added some butter and then filled the tub the rest of the way before topping it off with more butter. That split-butter application helps ensure that every kernel has that same buttery flavor and it is key to serving the perfect tub of popcorn. Some concession stands will fill the popcorn tub all the way and THEN add the buttery flavoring, or they sell me a full unbuttered tub and expect me to magically get a coating of butter down to the inner layers . . . can you say EPIC FAIL! The temperature was just right, the seats were comfortable, the theater was not crowded and the popcorn was fresh - everything was just right! The only complaint that I can come up with, and it's not worth a star, is that the hand dryers in the bathroom blow cold air which does a very poor job of drying one's hands :-/ For those who carry, there is a Texas 30.07 sign posted to the right, just inside the main doors and above the normal line of sight. FYI for anyone else wondering, that is the sign that restricts the open carry of licensed firearms, concealed carry is currently unrestricted at this location. read more

I went on a date with my 5-year-old nephew to see Rise of the Guardians at this theater last weekend. It's a little different than the usual theaters so I was confused at the layout but after my experience I really like it! First of all, you buy your tickets inside the front doors. I kept looking for the ticket booth outside - you know, where you get rained on if there's a line and inclement weather. You walk in the doors and go to the right and there's the ticket booth. "I'll have a 5-year-old ticket and an *ahem* adult ticket for Rise of the Guardians at 12:50 please," I say. "That'll be $11.50," they say. That's it? Really?? Turns out the first showing of a film each day is only $5.75. That's less than a child's ticket at any other screening. So we get our tickets and turn around to get some Skittles and a soda since "it's a special day" according to my nephew. There's one pay area right in the front, but it looked like Starbucks and ice cream. Where's the popcorn and the soda? Ohh.. it's in the meandering line to the side of that. It's a pretty cool system - you just go through, get what you want, then wait in one line with two registers to pay at the end. No more getting in the wrong line with the woman with 5 kids who can't make up their minds ahead of you. Added bonus at Cinemark - for $12 you can get a refillable cup and refillable popcorn tub (or $6.50 individually) which can be refilled for $3 each whenever you come in through 12/31/13. My husband and I had the cup last year and it was awesome. The bucket is a little small, but for $3, it works out great. read more

Theatre is nice, lots of options, good movie food, and clean restrooms. I watched Furious Seven tonight with my family. Awesome movie. Very well played. Excellent ending for Paul. Now about to watch Unfriended. The negatives well there's a few. First of all guys learn the law. You put up a sign saying you don't like guns. Long discussion but if you don't want them in the theatre then put the right sign up. Next if you know the grill is down then maybe get someone out to fix it or come up with an idea to take care of those of us that love the all beef Angus dogs!!! Gotta love those dogs. Customer service today wasn't that great either. People were going around the ticket line and nobody working here said a word. I quietly walked around these special ones. Today this theater was not meeting expectations. Ordered my tickets online and received a mobile ticket. However when I walked up to the girl pulling tickets she said that she did not have a scanner and I needed to go to the ticket desk. So I went t the ticket desk and basically was told that the scanner was at the place I just left. We went to see The Avengers and the girl forgot to give me the 3D glasses which the the ticket stub girl had to get for me. After getting my hot dog the condiment stand was messy and no mustard was available. However this theater normally does okay, but today may have been affected by the opening of The Avengers. read more

I have been to this theater many times and had mixed experiences. However, most often they are pretty good. The theaters are always clean and they have comfy chairs that rock back slightly. They only allow you to refill your drink once on a large, which I feel is a little chintzy of them. Whenever I've bought tickets by myself the still give me the military discount with my dependent ID. The staff is always friendly at the ticket counter. The theater offers booze, Starbucks, and ice cream in addition to more traditional concessions. Never order from the Starbucks portion! Worst experience ever and I swear they put their most rude employees at that counter. They also can't make anything correctly. I had to throw what they gave me away because it was so bad. read more

Helpful staff and a nice variety of snacks being offered including ice cream. The actual theater was clean and comfortable. We saw Jurassic World which was great in 3-D. The glasses were individually packaged and the screen quality was good. The sound was at a good degree of volume for this type of movie. We had a great cinema experience here. read more

The prices are high, yes, but so is every other theater out there! No more $2.50 movies I am afraid. The only thing I do not like is that the concession lines are sometimes pretty long and it takes a while to get what you need. The bathrooms are always clean as are the theaters. I allowed my teenage son to attend a movie there with a couple friends, and after entering the theater, he left to go to the restroom, then again shortly there after to get a very over priced drink. However, instead of giving one of his friends a $5 when they only needed a quarter, he exited with his friend to go back to the concessions, but was told he couldn't go back in because he had been I and out to many times. What kind of crap is that? The movie was barely started and he couldn't go back in??? Since when has there been a limit to the number of time you go in and out as long as you have a ticket. He was denied re-entry and because he said he wasn't leaving without a refund of his money, they called the cops on him and the cops actually cuffed him. He is 14 year old, African American, that had legitimate reason for demanding his money back, and to make it worse they went into the theater and pulled out his friends and told them that if they didn't all leave, they would get charged for trespassing. Even if it were possible to receive a refund I will NEVER go to this theater again. read more

Thursday afternoon I purchased a private watch party for Friday at 2:30pm for Marksman. After purchasing the tickets online the cinemark website timed out. There was literally no trace of purchase in my cinemark account but it was processed at a $166.70 fee around 12:30pm that afternoon .Later on that evening after 7:00pm I went in person to ask about the watch party and to tell the person at the counter about the issues that I was having while purchasing the tickets online. I told her that I reserved a private watch party for the following day and there was no trace of the purchase other than on my card. There was a white lady dressed in business casual clothes with blondish/brownish hair. She seemed like she didn't want to help me all she kept saying was we don't control the private watch parties if they're any issues with refunds I would have to call the 1800-cinemark number. At this point I'm aggravated I didn't want a refund I just wanted to make sure there was a completed reservation for tomorrow since this was a military event. I wanted to cover myself and made sure everything was in place. There was another person at the counter attempting to help me by looking in the system and the lady stopped her in the midsts of things and told me once again they don't have that information and whoever the guy that did the approvals probably didn't approve my movie as of yet. The issue was that i made that purchase around 12:30pm that afternoon and it was almost 8pm and still no email confirmation and I didn't know if The reservation was made for myself or someone else was able to get that 2:30pm time slot. After leaving the establishment I called that 1800-cinemark number which was completely closed at 7pm. I was kind of confused as to why give me a number when you know that they're possibly closed. Anyways fast forward to the showtime day I went to the movies 30mins prior until showtime to make sure everything was good I told the person at the front desk about my issues the day before and she wasn't able to find my name but she asked me for the card that the tickets were purchased on. She swiped it and literally found all my info. It was that simple to ask for the card used to purchase the tickets. After this incident I will no longer be returning to this location. I'm big on customer service and clearly that lady did not want to help other than to push me off onto someone else when my private watch party was showing at that location. read more

This used to be my favorite movie theatre. But now it kinda sucks. We tried to go see a movie & when we went to purchase tickets we were shown the seating & told to choose seats. First off, we are older & do not do stairs well. We were told that the only 2 seats available that did not have stairs to climb were on either end of the rows. With many seats empty in between. We were told that we could not sit in those seats as they were for wheelchairs only. Not all disabilities require a wheelchair. Any many make using stairs unreasonable. I have only once in my life seen a person in a wheelchair in a movie theatre. While I am not begrudging anyone the use of a wheelchair seat. The theatre needs to understand that there are many people ... Especially older ones who can not use stairs & make available seats for those people. I liked it so much better when you could just buy a ticket & go in & find a seat. I guess we will not be going there anymore. It was ridiculous to suggest that 2 people going in together sit at opposite ends of the row! Big thumbs down! I will wait for the movie to come out & watch it at home. Ok, I'm a HUGE movie-goer and I've just moved from LA...and honestly, this theater is nicer than the majority of the ones there. Someone on here said they didn't like it because of the screen being blurred or that the seats were very dirty, but I've never had an experience like that. I've only experienced clean, reclining seats that were extremely comfortable. And let me just say, the snack area is incredible! They have a gigantic selection, not only your standard popcorn (which you can put butter on yourself if you want to) and movie candy, but coffee/tea and a variety of ice cream. That is the exact response that was sent to a Yelp account that had inquired about the same pricing issue. Although I appreciate the 2 seconds it probably took you to paste that to an E-mail addressed to me, it just goes to show how empty and literally unapologetic your reply was. Another pathetic attempt at good customer quality of service. You totally missed the point of my previous e-mail, and I don't appreciate being blown off. The snack area really cuts down on waiting in line because you get to pick what you want and then pay at the end. Once we went to a theatre that hadn't been cleaned up from the previous show, but most times it's pretty clean. read more

Best movie theater ever! We went for the first time (and by we I mean my aunt, 7 year old cousin and myself) to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman (by my cousins request). Usually we go to the Regal in Killeen (the Hollywood Theater) by the Home Depot. I had never been to this one prior to our outing to see said movie. This theater is so much nicer! Not that the Killeen one is bad, it's just a bit more run down. I highly recommend coming to this theater. The staff are all very friendly and nice. I will be back! read more
