We appreciate the quiet hallway and the insulation that made the room easy to sleep in. The bed was very comfortable and allowed for a restful night sleep. There are plenty of outlets in the room. The only thing I will recomed for travelers is to carry a nightlight to put in the bathroom. It makes a difference to keep the room darker but also allow you to see and not get blinded by the bathroom light at night. This also limits how much you disturb others in the room. We carry 2 nightlight with us I just in case.

This is an older-style Hampton property, but it is clean, has large, spacious rooms and is well managed and maintained. This hotel has an Indoor heated pool with a hot tub, a fitness center with a good blend of older and newer cardio equipment, free weights, and features a Peloton that anyone can use with the hotel's account or their own account with a free account. My room was a large King suite with plenty of floor space, a refrigerator, coffee station, a separate sink and additional storage space. The wifi is a bit slow for my liking, but I was able to surf, check emails and do other general tasks. There is a premium Wi-Fi offer for higher-tiered members or for a daily fee. Breakfast is buffet-style with a choice of hot and cold offerings as well as cereals, breads, eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit and other items. Overall, a problem-free stay in a well-maintained property close to highways, gas stations, restaurants, schools and an outlet mall.

There was hair in the bathtub that clearly wasn't mine, which raised concerns about cleanliness. Another problem came the next morning after returning from a run, I found the shower water was completely cold. I reported it, and while maintenance did resolve it by resetting the hot water system, it took about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I was on a tight schedule and had to take an extremely quick, cold shower to make it to the event I had booked the hotel for. Between the cleanliness issue and the inconvenience of the cold water, the experience fell short of expectations. Given these problems, I believe some form of reimbursement would be appropriate.

Check-in was seamless, and my Status was recognized. My room was the standard SpringHill Suites layout and had enough space to work, stretch, and store my luggage. The room did have a slight musty smell to it, and the Room Climate Control was louder than I liked. The grounds have a pool and a fitness room with plenty of space to work out. Outside the pool area is a small outside area with tables and chairs. Parking is in the parking structure right next to the hotel and is free for guests. Although the barriers were during my stay, you can use your room key if needed for in and out privileges. The hotel's location is great if you plan on dining out or exploring the downtown area. Shops, restaurants, government buildings and other businesses are located within walking distance of the hotel. The free breakfast included hot and cold choices as well as other standard SpringHill Suites offerings. On the morning of my stay, I had scrambled eggs, a couple of hard-boiled eggs and bacon strips. The staff are great and helpful, and overall I had a problem-free stay.
