They called the police on me when I tried to 'politely' deal with their issue. Never yelled or threatened the staff, just reminded them the reservation was booked right there, and was assured the certificate was processed - have a confirmation email. They would not write down the phone number for Marriott in order for me to call and report this behavior. Not a place I would recommend.

One of the two beds in our room was so soft that my wife had a backache after two nights. The wallpaper in our room (221) was peeling away and there were stains in the carpet. The remote control for the TV couldn't change channels. I have been a Marriott customer for over 30 years and haven't had so many problems with maintenance issues such as these.

The moment we walked in, there was a giant centipede in the shower welcoming us to our stay. Throughout the week we found three spiders, spider webs behind the bed, under the nightstands, in the bathroom, and even crawling along the walls. At one point I started wondering if the bugs were paying rent. And cleanliness? What cleanliness? Our room was never cleaned a single time during the entire stay. Honestly, I'm not convinced housekeeping even exists here. We never once saw a cleaning cart, employee, or any evidence that sanitation is part of the business model. Now let's talk about the manager, because this entire disaster starts at the top. I tried multiple times over four days to speak with him, and somehow he was always supposedly "coming in tomorrow." His staff clearly know the script by heart because they repeated it like trained actors in a bad sitcom. A hotel reflects its leadership, and this place reflects complete absence. No accountability, no standards, no customer service, and no management. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. A family member selected this hotel for us based on the location, and it's not like they have much competition in the area. I will say that we saw a line of slot machines (called "skill games") in the lobby and it did not give a positive first impression. Rooms were clean and spacious, AC was working well, beds were comfortable, and staff were helpful when we needed them. A strong asset here is their free breakfast buffet, available from 6:30AM to about 9? We woke up early to partake every day and there was a wide selection: muffins and breads with a toaster, two of three available egg and protein options each day from egg white veggie omelets, cheese omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, pork sausage, and turkey sausage, plus a refrigerator of yogurts, a case of cinnamon rolls, and a full coffee bar. Checkout is at 11, which is a bit more reasonable than some other places we've stayed. There's plenty of (free) parking, a covered patio area with a barbecue outside that appears to be available to use, plus both Walmart and Target within walking distance for anything you might need, and a few chain restaurants too. Only criticisms were that the gym is dismal with three outdated cardio machines that I did not attempt to use - the local Y allows you to go up to three visits for free. Also, our room was refreshed with extra towels halfway through our stay but at no time did anyone change our garbage, which was full of diapers from our toddler - a smelly oversight. I would stay here again if we had to return to the area for family events.
