Justin is the real deal! We've gotten several referrals about him. Finally got to use his service. Came RIGHT ON time. Much appreciate the promptness. Quick resolution and got the old and stuck (at least to me) faucet out. Replaced new one. The one we got from Costco mistakenly sent us the same handles, but he was able to change the cartridge out and installed it with ease. read more

Justin is the man and the only plumber I reach out to when I have an issue. His team is friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

Justin and his team were awesome. They were able to come the same day and perform quality work at a very reasonable price. It's hard to find honest people nowadays. Thank you, Justin! read more

Very happy to have found Just In Time. We have the kitchen faucet replaced a couple of weeks ago and today was the exposed shower system. If I knew they were this good I would have replaced the shower a long time ago! I will definitely recommend their service to my friends and family for their next plumbing project. read more

A reasonably priced plumber you can trust. I have worked with Justin and his crew for years. I trust him to charge me a fair price and do a good job and not oversell me. I recently had a sewer main clog during a dinner party. I called in another company as Justin was not available at that second. Big mistake, as the other company charged me just under $1K to do what Justin said should have been half that price. The other company told me my sewer main was all worn out and I needed a sleeve asap or else they would need to replace the entire pipe for way more digging up the street etc. "$20K if I sign today, but $22K if don't sign today," they said. Justin came out the next day for a second opinion and told me 1) I did not need the sleeve and 2) he ran a camera and said at most, one small offset fix would cost $4K to replace a portion of pipe, but really, it might be years before I need to snake again, so even the $4K was not necessary if I was willing to snake the next time it clogged. He then suggested I call the city sewer folks to check under the street. They came out and agreed with Justin no sleeve was needed, the pipe was fine and just a quick clean out was all that was needed. Justin walked away from potential business just to save me money and saved me from getting scammed by the other plumbing company (Rotor Rooter). I trust this guy. read more

I called Justin yesterday as two of my bathrooms suddenly had low to no flow. He was busy and could not come but he suggested a few things I could try by myself. He worked with me over text to help me identify the problem and fix it. 5* service. Highly recommend him. read more

I called to get my water heater replaced late and still got someone to answer my call. First of all, the woman that answered the phone had great customer service and was a delight to speak to. She told me that she would have Doniel at my house at 8 am the following day. Doniel arrived at 8:00 on the dot. He took a look at my water heater and all connections. The job was more than he expected but didn't hesitate to tackle it with no complaints. He did an excellent job. I would recommend this company if you're looking at getting water heater repair or replacement done. read more

Yesterday's service was the 2nd time I have had the pleasure of working with Just-In-Time Plumbing, only this time, matters were far more urgent. I just moved into a new home and the workers were so intent on making the deadlines, they forgot to reignite the pilot light - no hot water for dozens of hefty bags of stored clothes, towels, etc and no shower for this dirtiest of movers. Owner Justin sent out Mike, a friendly and knowledgeable professional who took care of it immediately; the longest aspect was the tank heating up sufficiently to make its way through the various property lines to assure success. Within an hour, done! Thanks, again, Just-In-Time Plumbing! read more

Called to schedule an appointment to unclog bathroom sink drain. Spoke with Justin wo set an appointment to come out. Ryan was assigned to the job and I received a text from Justin saying that Ryan had finished previous job early and would be able to show up sooner. I enthusiastically agreed. Ryan came well prepared with all needed equipment and was able to snake out the drain within a half hour. Price was reasonable and I received a copy of invoice via email. Very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy. I will be calling Just In Time for all my plumbing needs from now on. read more

Justin is fantastic. I was reminded again this week how he is able to troubleshoot and fix any plumbing issue I have had in my own home and in my clients' homes. read more

Justin And Justin-in-time Plumbing have exceptional service. I own a home in Redwood City and have used them a couple times. They show up on time and do a clean work. I've seen them use a level for every section of pipe to make sure it is straight and plumb. Its art just to go and cover it up! It's nice to see a contractor take that much pride in his and his crews work. I mean how often do you look inside the sheet rock / walls? If you do, I know you will get what I get every time. 100% customer satisfaction. Thank you for doing such great job. Brian P. read more

My son and I tried to switch out a Flushmate replacement for the toilet in our condo. We tried to turn off the water from the wall, but were unsuccessful. We thought that we could replace the unit quickly, but there were many roadblocks in our way (including the company sending us a broken part. We finally got it in the toilet the hooked up the water, only to find out that the new unit leaked. In desperation, we decided to call a plumber. My son called one, and they couldn't seem to come out right away. We then called Just-in-Time and Justin answered the phone, asked a lot of questions, and asked for a video of the problem. He quoted a price and was at our place within 10 minutes. We had been bailing water for over 3 hours. He came in and miraculously stopped the flow. He suggested that the shutoff valve needed to be replaced, but couldn't do it until the water to the unit was shut off. We spent over 1 hour with the HOA, was told that it could be, then after numerous holds, told us that Justin had to do it. Meanwhile, he took apart the Flushmate, found the leak and fixed it. He went to the basement and decided that it was not in his favor to shut off the water to the whole building. He then came and hooked up the water to our new tank, and it worked perfectly! He stayed to make sure that it did. I highly recommend him and will definitely call him in the future. He was our hero! read more

I am totally delighted with all of the service I have received through Just in Time plumbing & Heating from the techs and the often overlooked office personnel. I have received top of the line service every time. Most recently, two Plummers came out, Joe and Kyle, and went above and beyond what we would expect Plummers to do. Water came into my bathroom after recent torrential rain and wind. These men actually went up on my roof, found the problem, took picture of it to show me and then proceeded to fix the leak. They needed a certain type of screws to do the job right and were able to locate them in my husband's massive and totally disorganized shop. A friend at work said, oh you will need to get a roofer for that job. That is why I say these young men went above and beyond expectations. They are truly water experts, I am so impressed. I am also a continuing customer with more work for them in the months ahead. The bill was so reasonable for the huge effort they made. If you need a Plummer or a Furnace expert, you can't miss with this company. They also took pics of the fix!! read more

I wish yelp would allow my review to post! This plumbing company is best described by honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship. Justin runs his operation with these qualities, and his guys are upstanding examples of the same. I happily recommend this company to family, friends, and colleagues for everything from troubleshooting a quick problem to a massive luxury remodel. I wouldn't trust another plumber. The best!! read more

We had a leak bubbling up in our backyard. Contacted Justin and ask him to come out to give us an estimate. Although he couldn't come out immediately, he still communicated through text and ask me to check my irrigation system....viola! Problem fixed! Great service provided! Got the job done that another plumbing company failed to do! We will definitely use them again!

I called Just-in-Time due to a clogged sewer main. After a short call, I texted him my address and contact details. He followed up at the end of the day to book a service call the next morning. He arrived right on time and fixed my problem in less than an hour! He's very friendly, reliable and conscientious and I feel like I got good value for my money. Highly recommend! read more

I had an upstairs toilet leaking last week down into the kitchen ceiling - suspected that it was coming from beneath the toilet. Spoke to Justin, he asked me a few questions and then sent Ryan over the day after. Very thorough, very efficient - Ryan not only fixed the wax seal, but also put in a new hose that connected the toilet fill valve to the inlet. He then proceeded to clean up everything and sealed it. Excellent work at a nominal price. Today I called Justin again because I had a leak underneath the sink coming from one of the tubes connecting the water filter. Rather than send someone, he coached me via text how to remove the tube, cut it and insert it to fit tightly. After a couple of tries, voila - it worked. Shows a plumber who cares and does his job perfectly. read more

Called to get a quote for a plumbing repair job at my house. Another company took a look and ran a camera and gave me a quote (no charge). We looked at the pipe on the video screen and clearly a section of my pipe needs to be replaced between the house and the street where there was a hole at the top of the pipe and roots coming into the pipe. There is a small shrub (a gardenia) located right above that spot and that is the source of the roots. Someone must have cracked the sewer pipe a few years ago when it was transplanted in the yard. So called Just-In-Time for a second quote. Lots of questions but Justin told me he didn't want the job unless I'd tell him how much the other plumber had quoted me. I offered to let him come out to the house and examine the problem and give me his own quote, but he told me he didn't want the job because I won't tell him the other guy's price. Maybe he was having an off day. ======= Response to Justin's comment: I stand by my comments. Justin said several times he didn't want the job and would't come to my house unless I disclosed the other bids, which no savvy customer should ever do. I went with E&J Plumbing. I explained the problem and they came over this morning and put a camera in my sewer line then quoted me a price. They didn't ask about the other bids. They just gave me a quote and then fixed my sewer line. read more

Justin (owner of Just-in-Time) plumbing has been helping me with plumbing issues for over 10 years, both at my home and my rental properties throughout the peninsula. They never try to 'over sell' me with unneeded services or fixes. They show up on time, promptly make the repairs and charge a reasonable price. It's why I've continued to use them throughout the years. Finding an honest plumber is not an easy task! I highly recommend him. read more

We had Justin install three earthquake shut-off valves for three homes in our community. Although the job was done properly, we didn't like his handling of a simple problem we had with one of the valves. Instead of trying to fix the issue which could be resolved either over the phone by him giving basic instructions to the homeowner or simply stop by and reset the valve, he tried to put the blame on the valve and/or others. If you're looking for professional plumber that keeps supporting the homeowners after the work and shows respect, look somewhere else. read more

Tyler responded to our semi crisis and did a masterful job. Got to us quickly and finished the job just as quick. Great job!

Justin was referred to me by a Pool Equipment installer. I needed a larger gas meter installed and a small amount of work done on a outside faucet. He came out and did the initial gas test and measurements and had agreed to submit the permit to the city with the information. He never submitted the permit before getting busy with other projects. I had to continually followup to get any response, in which he tried to convince me to make the permit submission myself; the whole reason i'd hired him. Additionally the small amount of work outside took much longer then expected, and ended up having two leaks instead of the previous one. Money and time wasted. The installer that referred him will also no longer be getting the work. read more

Ryan and Justin did a wonderful job for us. The recirculating pump for our tankless water heater had failed, and we were waiting almost 2 minutes just for a hot shower. I contacted Justin on a Sunday afternoon, and Ryan came right out on Monday morning with the right part and got us back in business! Now, our hot water comes on almost instantaneously. Just-In-Time Plumbing communicated with us very well, were very professional, and did a great job! Our experience couldn't have been any better! read more

I called Justin this morning for a steam shower repair. He answered his phone (what!?) and got back to me quickly. He arranged for someone to come by that same morning, and aside from reeking of cigarettes, the person who came by was professional and helpful. They weren't able to finish the work because I think there's an issue with the control card of the unit, but they did all they could, their rates are reasonable, and I will definitely call them again. read more

Based on Just-In-Time's 5-star yelp reviews, I decided to give them a call, to clear the clog in my backed-up laundry tub. Justin answered the phone, so that was cool. And based on previous reviews, I thought he'd be able to get out to my house on the same day (since I was calling on Monday morning at 10am), or possibly the next day. However, he said "Maybe tomorrow, but realistically, Thursday." I really didn't want to wait three days, so I decided to call someone else. In a nutshell, I'd say Justin was honest, and I have no reason to doubt his plumbing skills. However, for "Five Star" drain cleaning service, I'd expect 24 hour turnaround time. Overall, I have to give him an "A-OK" 3 stars. -------------------------------- Update: After reading Justin's response to my review, I'd like to point out that Thanksgiving was on November 22nd, and I called Just-In-Time Plumbing on the Monday *after* the Thanksgiving Holiday. read more

I am writing this review tonight because I just referred a neighbor to Justin, and read his reviews to date. I can say that the only 2 critical reviews were because Justin was booked. People, he is booked for a reason, because he is good. This is not Roto-Rooter; it is a small company that does quality work. Justin has performed two jobs at our house after being highly recommended by members of the town I live in. He has done a fantastic, 5 star job both times. In fact, he happened to be over doing a job when another work crew was installing a tankless water system (didn't realize Justin could have done this) and observed some really screwy things the other guys were doing and discreetly pointed it out to me, thankfully. Sure, if you have a true emergency, he may not be able to come out right away. If you can schedule it, give him a call. That's all I have to say. read more

Bathroom clogged in the morning. Tried myself fixing it. Can't. Gave up. My usual plumber told me he would show up yesterday, and did not. Can't wait any longer. Google. Yelp. Whoa! A plumber with all five star ratings. Gave him a call. It was hard to hear him - but he said he would come by betweeen 1:30-2:30 and he did. Fixed it all up. Charged a fair price - which he informed me of before the job - appreciate it :) And I was at work, so he sent me an invoice over email - that I could just pay online. This is how its supposed to work. Kudos for a job well done. read more

Once again Justin came on time and called ahead as usual with confirmation of his appointment. We had just had him install a new heater in my wife's art studio and after he left yesterday, she noticed a 'gas' odor in her studio....I called him and he was out here the next day, and fixed a bad gas pipe and its working great...and it was under his warranty, so no charge! Great service, on time and on budget! We have used a lot of plumbers throughout the past 15 years and I'm glad that we came across him and I would recommend him without hesitation. read more

I had an old ... faucet thingy... connected to the toilet. I got quotes and this place was a bit more expensive than the others, but the incredibly high Yelp ratings made me go with them. I was NOT disappointed. After they removed it and replaced it, it looked as though it had been built that way! I don't know how he managed to not screw up the wall at least SOME amount. I asked he also help re-caulk a spot in the bathroom thinking he'd just be a minute or two. In a very appreciated way, he took the time to Do It Right. It started off looking like a scene from the Bates Motel and wound up like the Ritz. And he kept it all within the same quote. Greatly appreciated! I am going to have them come back and replace the rest of the faucet thingies as I am sure they're all due to fail before long. Thanks, guys!! read more
