They were scheduled for 1:00 PM, called me at 12:17 PM to let me know they're running late and would not come until 3:00 PM, and then came at 2:30 PM. I was not offered any sort of compensation for the delay. The work itself was fine. There was a language barrier with the two cleaners, but they understood well enough what to do. My only real complaint is that they did not put many of our toiletries and fridge items where they were originally after cleaning. They finished in about 2 hours. Considering the hourly rate was $90/hr, I did request to only pay the $180 + tip instead of the $250 flat rate + $60 additional fees ($310 total), but was denied. I understand that was what was originally agreed upon, but the lack of leniency considering their delay as well as the minimal work done, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I do feel like I heavily overpaid for the service, and will not likely use them again.

The two cleaning ladies did an excellent job restoring both bathrooms and cleaning the refrigerator. They made them look almost brand new, and I was genuinely impressed with their work in those areas. The reason I'm giving three stars is that I originally booked three hours of deep cleaning, but the job ended up taking a total of six hours. Since the service time doubled, I expected the entire apartment to be thoroughly and professionally cleaned. Unfortunately, some areas were missed, including the insides and lower exterior surfaces of the kitchen cabinets, the kitchen and living room walls and baseboards, and the front entry door. In addition, after walking around the apartment in clean socks, my socks turned black, suggesting that the floors were not mopped thoroughly. As a result, my husband and I spent another two hours cleaning the kitchen and living room ourselves. I contacted the manager and requested a refund equivalent to one hour of service. He agreed to refund 30 minutes, explaining that the bathrooms were exceptionally dirty and required much more time than expected. While I understand that the bathrooms took extra effort, I still believe that spending six hours cleaning a completely empty 1,044-square-foot apartment should have resulted in a more complete and professional deep cleaning. They noticed hairline cracks in the wall that no one else did, which really saved us from a possible mold problem.
