Tyson (our lab) always gets so excited when he sees Zobi now & gets the zoomies They have extremely good communication, giving us regular updates & even sends us pics so we can see what Tyson is up to throughout the day! I'm really relieved we found someone reliable. We recently forgot it was trash day (we were out of town) & Zobi took out the bins for us without saying anything. Now we have two, Gracie and Gretel, after losing our beloved Siamese Hansel yesterday. I still stand by what I said then and have grown to love this clinic even more. Dr. Peterson is our primary veterinarian. His level of care and concern for our cats are beyond reproach. We consider him and the whole staff to be part of our extended pet family. We recently worked with Dr. Doty and Dr. Peterson on Hansel, who was diagnosed with a heart murmur/heart disease as a kitten. That diagnosis was spot on, and Dr. Peterson let us know that our time with him could be limited. We had 5 great years with him. During recovery from a routine procedure this week, Hansel experienced heart failure and respiratory distress. Dr. Doty and the team proactively called the local emergency vet and worked hand in hand with them to transport him and care for him in an attempt to keep him as comfortable as possible until we had to make that dreaded decision we had to make eventually. A special thanks to Lisa, the hospital administrator, and one of the techs who created a makeshift oxygen crate and did the transport to Mission Specialty/Emergency. That was above and beyond and shows what they will do to save our pets. The follow-up and heartfelt sympathies were much appreciated. Thank you, Dr. Peterson, Dr. Doty, Lisa, and the team, for all you have done for us!

I was looking for…read moreideas of good local trainers that were willing to train my German Shepherd that I adopted through a FB post that was from her 2nd owner. Yes I was her 3rd but final furever home which is probably why she had severe separation anxiety, timid toward men, and leash reactivity. I saw someone recommend them and then the owner Jessica replied as well and we started training a few weeks later. Prior to training I never would have thought I'd be able to take her around other dogs but now she's a gem. Jessica was able to teach me more about the different German Shepherd working lines which was a crucial part for me to understand why previous methods failed. Now my Sammi is more focused on we with walks, can be around other dogs with out reacting when she's on leash and behaves better at home. The best part is her spirit us not broken which I was worried about. She still runs around with her weird German Shepherd antics but now she listens. Currently we are still with them for our next training journey -- mobilty support/medical alert service dog training. I can't thank Tandem Canines enough for thier help and not just with training Sammi but me too. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs help with thier fur babies.

I have been a customer for years at Lucy's and have never had any issues with my dog boarding…read morethere. The last 2 times I have picked him up, he had lost a significant amount of weight. This most recent stay, my dog was completely emaciated after staying there for 10 days. I could see every rib and bone in his back and haunches. I am disgusted. There is no way that the staff could not notice how visibly skinny he had become. I should have been notified if he wasn't eating and they should have taken him to the vet next door. Instead, I received a report card saying that he cleaned his bowl every day. That is impossible. He eats the same amount at home and gets the same (if not more) amount of exercise. He was completely neglected by the staff and the amount of weight he lost staying there is criminal. The first 2 photos are how he looked before Lucy's at 70 lbs, the second 2 are after Lucy's. I will never take my dog there again. Ever.

This was our first time boarding our dog and we were pretty nervous and nervous for him because he…read morecan get very anxious. Upon pulling into the facility we noticed it was well gated and liked the privacy screens on the fence so the dogs in care wouldn't go bizerk when we pulled up causing a distraction to the whole place. The lobby smelled clean and had a faint homey cinnamon smell which was comforting (A main priority for us was the smell cause it really tells you a lot about the care of that makes sense) We explained that he didn't do well with other dogs in the past, has pollen allergies since we're still adjusting to San Antonio, and that he had some anxiety medication in case he needed it. Turns out he gets along with other dogs very well and made many friends! He also was able to play and tolerate outdoors much better, and he didn't need his meds the last few days of his stay. Huge improvement! We highly appreciate that they offered 24/7 webcams and believe me, we checked in VERY often. I loved that they sent us pictures and messages daily keeping in communication. We feel the care our pup received was excellent and we will definitely will bring him back anytime we need to board him. Staff is extremely nice and Ariel did a great job on his grooming!
