I was told I'm a good fit for the team. First day I walked (talking about the children names) in the door I did not feel welcomed. by the ladies, not one positive comment about the work place. Sterilization area Was a nightmare (eating in that area) Instruments was not properly sanitized!!!!?!!! I was excited to learn and grow, the second day showed me everything I needed to know. Not one good comment about the new manager... All I could hear was drama about the second Location. It's was so much drama. I couldn't get proper training . Because Sandra was texting previous employees from the other location that was fired. This had nothing to do with me. I was sent there to learn!! Chardae was rude and uneasy because she thought she would lose her job. I feel Rob and didn't really to get the experience I wanted, I was not getting the proper training, because of the drama that's at hand, Sandra was on her phone the whole time, This place is not what I expected. I was even told that the owner is crazy and not nice, I will be picked on by her. I was terrified to even meet her. This is not what you expect starting a new job. I did not feel welcomed at all. I get a call at 4/21 at 6:53PM asking to reschedule my appointment because they are remodeling I asked how long the remodeling has been going on they said 2 weeks. So I was given an appointment knowing they wouldn't be available and not given notice until it was too late for me to make other arrangements they had 2 WEEKS to make me aware so I could be seen elsewhere and waited till the end of the day the night before to let me know they wouldn't not see me. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable as work scheduling isn't always easy to change. I found it unacceptable and a disrespect to my time.

We get there and a guy says it's closed because the air is out but there is one person inside. Not sure why they didn't update the phones to say they're closed but I go inside and thankfully the dental asst looks at the picture, agrees we need to be seen and gives us an ice pack, directing me to another location. I'm a little frustrated but I head to Arlington because it's closest. Got to the Cooper location at 2:05p. Sign said lunch from 1p-2p. Waited and waited but they still never unlocked the door. I tried it three times. And of course, repeated calls here are unanswered also. Watched other people try the door. Watched UPS try the door. It's now 2:50 pm. My still bleeding kid has yet to be seen. Just throw all the iKids locations away at this point. This is ridiculous.

Due the misdiagnosis, Dr. Long said she would do a root canal for no charge. While doing the root canal, Dr. Long damaged the crown on another tooth and without my knowledge she billed my insurance another $1,200. I was in their office twice a month for pain and discomfort. After $6,000 later, I saw a dental specialist who was able to correct my condition. My insurance said that I was over charged for the service received. I would not wish this nightmare on anyone. We had visited two practices for surgery for our child prior to finding Dr. Clark, and the prior practices did not do nearly as much to explain the issues and assist us with finding a solution. Not only was the staff able to treat my daughter in a manner that did not scare her, they were even able to take x-rays' This is a feat when you consider she is a young child. The staff also guided us to a program that would dramatically reduce the cost of care. Lastly, as we were leaving, they gave my daughter a prize, which made her trip to the dentist a memorable one. Dr. Clark's practice is truly one of a kind.

During our first visit I was able to sit with her in the treatment room during her cleaning, without asking. On our second visit for scheduled fillings we checked in and the tech told me to go sit in the siting room. When I asked to remain with her during treatment. He questioned why I felt the need to stay with her. This was not an appropriate response. I had to escalate. Which they allowed me to sit with her. But I should not be made to feel like I have to justify my reason for wanting to sit in with my daughter during her treatment. On the third visit for further fillings, we checked in and when she was called, the tech again said "she is fine to come alone, you can wait in the waiting room". What gives the tech the authority to decide my child can proceed by herself? This is not how parents should be approached. She could have asked if I was okay with her receiving the treatment alone without my presence. If parents are not going to be allowed to be present this needs to be explained at check in and before consent of treatment. Children are not allowed to seek medical and dental treatment alone. So why should I not be allowed to be present during her treatment?
